From June1, 2008, shops and supermarkets are forbidden from offering free plastic bags to customers, according to a new law. A nation-wide campaign against plastic bags has been launched.

Nowadays, Chinese people use up to three billion plastic bags a day. While being very convenient to shoppers, plastic bags also cause serious white pollution” and waste resources.

Though the ban may cause some inconvenience to shoppers, it can help reduce the use of plastic bags when people have to pay for them. Besides, the ban, in away, can promote public awareness of environmental protection.

So I think it necessary to forbid shops and supermarkets from offering free plastic bags. When shopping, we can use cloth bags or baskets instead of plastic bags as we used to.

同学们：

大家好！我演讲的题目是《人类，请保护大自然吧》。

大自然是人类生命的起源地，也是动植物的出生地、栖息地。所以，人类应该竭尽全力地去保护大自然，维护大自然生态系统的平衡。

昨天，我在手机上看到几张图片，这些图片给了我很大的震撼——海边都是人类乱丢的垃圾，海面上也漂浮着塑料袋、易拉罐……

还有一张森林里有许多高大挺拔的大树都被砍伐了的图片。

在一只已经死亡了梅花鹿的肚子里，发现了一个塑料袋。因为人们把装东西的塑料袋随手乱扔，被梅花鹿误食入嘴中，导致窒息死亡。

还有一些关于海洋生物的信息。原来，海洋里的生物很多，也很美，有凶猛的，有温顺的，有庞大的，也有细小的，这些生物都有它们各自的生态循环，可因为人类的捕捞、猎杀，导致大多数海洋生物系统无法循环，更严重的是会导致许多物种濒临灭绝或已经灭绝了。

相比之下，大自然都已经这样了，可某些人并没有要停止破坏的意思。有一天，我走在放学路上，看见有几名小学生在小区的小树林里爬树折树枝玩，我走上去制止他们这种可恶的行为。可他们并没有要停止的意思，还恶狠狠地对我说：“要你管，赶紧走开，小心我们揍你！”因为当时时间已经不早了，我又是独自一人，不好说什么，就离开了。可是，这种行为真是太可恶了，这种人就应该受到惩罚。

大自然是一个非常巨大的生态循环系统，人类和动植物都离不开它的。从现在起，我们应该尽自己最大的“力量”去保护大自然！

The seas and oceans receive the brunt of human waste, whether it is by deliberate dumping or by natural run-off from the land.

In fact over 80% of all marine pollution comes from land-based activities and many pollutants are deposited in estuaries and coastal waters. Here the pollutants enter marine food chains, building up their concentrations until they reach toxic levels. It often takes human casualties to alert us to pollution and such was the case in Minimata Bay in Japan when many people died as a result of a pollutant building up in food chains. A factory was discharging waste containing methyl mercury in low concentrations into the sea and as this pollutant passed through food chains it became more concentrated in the tissues of marine organisms until it reached toxic levels.

As a consequence 649 people died from eating fish and shellfish contaminated with mercury and 3500 people suffered from mercury poisoning.

我的心愿是让世人感觉到在不保护自然，那么自然就会毁灭他们了。

我静坐窗前，望着窗外沙尘飞扬、狂风肆虐，望着公路上飞驰的汽车仍然耀武扬威地喷着尾气，望着远处工厂的烟囱冒出一缕缕如同魔鬼一样张牙舞爪的黑烟……我的心在痛，眼前似乎出现了一片荒凉的沙地，耳边也似乎响起了鸟儿惨痛的鸣叫，人哪，你难道要一错再错吗?

我不否定人类的伟大。他们一步步地创建这个世界，让它如此丰富多彩。然而他们在满足自己的同时，却深深地伤害了视人类为朋友的动物群体，更残暴地戳穿了曾为人类遮风沙、挡寒雨的绿色屏障。人类的所作所为注定要受到惩罚。终于，狂风邀请沙粒来到了人类的栖息之地，它们面对罪恶的人类，使劲地发泄着内心的仇恨和哀怨。大街小巷，飞沙走石，惨不忍睹，到处都显现出大自然征服人类的痕迹：一座房屋终于招架不住突如其来的打击，无奈地坍倒了;一家大商店狼狈地在关闭的店门上挂了“因天气状况，暂停营业”的牌子;一位农人怜惜地望着被连根拔除的麦苗，眼泪滚落下来;一位白须老人望着满天的混沌感慨万千：“这都是报应啊!是人一手栽下的祸根……”

可怜的人类，面对大自然的示威和挑战，你的聪明呢?你的才智呢?你往日的傲慢呢?你不是声称自己是自然的主宰吗?你不是有能力改变世界一切的一切吗?

哦，人类，觉醒吧，现在还来得及。

都市频道的《萝卜白菜》栏目中，一位年轻的“绿色使者”飘然而至，她与同伴周游至西藏，沿途清理垃圾和塑料袋，她已经真正意识到了人类的危急：长江源头的居民竟缺水告急!她轻轻地唱起《变脸》，告诫人们：大自然终究有一天会“变脸”的……

我心潮澎湃，一刹那间竟在心底升起一团再也挥之不去的火焰——我要做一名“绿色使者”，我要带着深深的自责和歉意向大自然说声：对不起!我要号召人类为人与自然的共存而奋斗不息。

——这将是我永不变更的心愿。

让绿色重新铺满大地——这又将是全人类的心愿!

每一个人都有责任保护环境！爱护动物!亲近自然！这是我们要做的，也是必须做的。你知道吗？环境现在受的威胁，而威胁的人就是那些不爱护环境的人，你知道不爱护环境对地球有多大危害。土地沙漠化，空气受到污染，无法抵抗沙尘暴，影响人们的身体健康等等。这是我们想要的结果吗？对!不是。每一个人都想在一个良好的的环境里学习，工作，休息。谁都不想在一个环境受到污染的地方。人类是花的根，环境是未绽的花苞，根努力就能开出美丽，反之只有枯竭、谢落。所以要保护环境，这也是在保护我们正受威胁的地球！

爱护动物也是必须做的。有的一些可怜的动物，就是因为人们不停地残杀，就快绝种了。有的是已经绝种了。就说那可怜的渡渡鸟，已经绝种了，他/她们是多么的可爱！

我为此发出倡议：1不要在伤害那些无辜，可怜的动物，它们也有生命。2大家互相监督，坚决不杀动物吃。3一起提倡爱护动物，大家一起携手保护动物。希望大家一起爱护动物。

亲近自然。多去户外走一走，多与大自然接触，与大自然一起玩，大自然会喜欢你，你也会更喜欢大自然。

总之一句话：“保护环境！爱护动物！亲近自然！”
