When we attend university, the moment we choose our major, which most

probably means the job we will work on in the future. Some people choose to work

on what they like and give up doing something that is related to their major. A

girl made such decision. She learned music in the top university. After

graduated, she found that she liked to be away from the noisy city, so she chose

to run that farm his father left to her. It seemed so ridiculous for such an

excellent person to live the ordinary life. While to everybodys surprise, the

girl found her way to begin her new career. She fell in love with making all

kinds of desserts and she made this hobby famous. She posted the picture on the

Internet and became famous. She even showed on the TV. Sometimes choose another

life can be positive.

爸爸妈妈非常爱你，这点是永恒的，即使在你今后白发苍苍时也是一样;无论何时何地，不管你面对任何的环境或困难，不管你面对如何的孤寂和冷寞，你都要坚信，爸爸妈妈永远都爱着你，永远是你的依赖，愿意永远做你的老师或者朋友，在你无助时，尽全力给你提供指导和安慰。

可能你看到这里，会觉得不理解，爸爸妈妈你们不是大人吗?不是经常批评我吗?不是经常指导我应该如何对待他人吗?不是经常指导我们按什么方式方法去做事吗?有时你和爸爸还又凶又恶，吓得我不敢说话，眼泪直流……

其实，不只你们小孩子要学习，我们大人也需要学习，只是你学习的内容大多我们在以前已经学习过了，我们现在要学习其他的内容罢了;儿子你从出生到现在，每天在学习新的东西，每天在成长，爸爸妈妈也需要观察和学习你，才知道你在想什么，想做什么，哪些是正确的应该鼓励的，哪些是错误的应该引导的。妈妈向你学习的方面还很多，比如你把你在野外观察到的动植特点告诉妈妈，你把你从《小牛顿》上知道的天文地理知识和妈妈分享，让妈妈也知道了许多以前不知道的知识;你把和同学间有趣好玩的故事告诉妈妈，让妈妈也回到了快乐的童年;你对爷爷和外公外婆的体谅孝顺，让妈妈惊诧善良遗传的力量;你把委屈和不开心告诉妈妈，让妈妈认真思考问题的原因，处理问题的方法方式;偶尔你也会批评妈妈，什么时候错怪了你，让妈妈发现了自己的……

所以，儿子你也是爸爸妈妈的老师，所以要把学校、生活中的事多告诉爸爸妈妈，把你的想法或主意大胆地告诉我们，让我们分享你的知识，感受你的快乐或忧愁，接受你的批评和要求，和你一起成长。

写到这点，妈妈就会想起你在学习和生活上的粗心与不认真，比如多次在考试后你会说，“我真粗心，不该错的地方又错了，下次我一定改!”;比如在做事时得到大人的提醒时你恍然大悟的表情;你是一个孩子，许多事情或事物都是第一次，更需要认真、用心地观察与思考，才能知道原因在哪里，需要怎么办?好习惯是一辈子的财富，如果你处处粗心大意，那么长大了就非常可能成为一个马大哈，那么会事事做错或者完全做反，这样的后果妈妈简直不敢想象。当然，儿子，你还是一个小孩子，有时考虑不全面也是情有可原的，爸爸妈妈和老师会认真、用心地引导你的，但你必须正确地认识这一点，在学习与生活中时时处处这样要求自己。

在张老师给你写的学期评语上有这么一项内容，爸爸妈妈深深认同;妈妈也发现你在学习上比较肤浅，表面化，没有更深入地钻研、思考，因而一些阅读理解或者判断是非的问题测试时你就会出错，一经旁人稍为讲解，你便理解了，但是，下一次稍微变通，你还是要错，我想你还是没有深入地理解、思考的原因。

张老师每学期都会给你们推荐一些课外书籍，妈妈也会根据情况给你购买一些，但据妈妈观察，你看课外书不怎么能坚持，常常是心血来潮了或者是与班上同学攀比时看一本或几本，这是妈妈从不提倡的。书籍是人类进步的阶梯，书籍是我们的良师益友，妈妈多么希望你与课外书交成好朋友，扩展自己的知识，丰富自己的阅历，愉悦你的心灵，排解你的不快，提高你的品行呢?!

你所出生的时代，物质不是那么短缺，妈妈觉得你的玩具相当多，所喜欢从事的运动或游戏也是经常变化，我也试着问你为什么喜欢这个的运运或游戏，你常常不能给我一个圆满的答复，有时甚至不答。妈妈觉得世界丰富，多姿多彩是很好的，我们在这个世界中就更应该多想想我们应该一直坚持做什么，而不是如小猫钓鱼一样三心二意，对吧?比如学习要坚持，坚持环境保护是不是呢?

对待电脑游戏或电视节目，爸爸妈妈也不是完全不准你玩或者观看，我们是有时间限制的，十岁的小朋友还不能控制自己的意志，妈妈很担心你沉迷于电视节目，成为木头人;妈妈也一样担心你沉迷于电脑游戏，成为机器人，荒废了自己的学习与生活;妈妈也希望你有更多的时间在楼下和小朋友们一起踢足球，骑自行车等活动，在学校里与同学一起打乒乓球、参加学习的体育运动，这样成为一个健康、有活力的孩子。

在此，妈妈还有一个小小的要求就是男孩子对待食品要克制，不要一外出就要妈妈为你买饮料或零食，一感觉有点饿了就要求吃东西，妈妈希望你试着忍耐忍耐;妈妈也希望你在吃东西时不要只考虑到自己，还要考虑到他人，把好的东西礼让给身边的人，好吗?

Dear Sir,

I am a December 2003 graduate from the University of San Francisco (USF) with a bachelors degree in International Business. As part of my career planning, I am very interested in supplementing my international business education with a basic knowledge of the Chinese language. This I hope will help me enter into business commerce with business organizations partnering with Chinas economic development.

I already have information from BLCU and hope to study there for at least one full year starting with this summers program continuing through the fall and spring semester 2006. Can your office advise me if such scholarships might be available to me?

I have been studying Chinese for one year now. I am not sure what level I belong to. I was told that there will be an HSK test in our university in September. I am planning to attend the test. But I dont know if the result of the test is recognized by your university. If so, can it be a help for me to apply for the scholarship?

Time flies like an arrow before we realize it .It is known that nothing is more precious than time. The good old proverb time is money reminds us that time is valuable. When time goes by, it will never return. However, it is a pity that some people dont make full use of their time .They spend a lot of time in sleeping, chatting, playing computer games or other unmeaning matters. . They dont realize that wasting time is actually equal to killing themselves. They always regret not having made great achievements. One of the reasons may be they do not make good use of time. Therefore, in order to be successful, they should first get into the habit of being on time. It’s a sign of cherishing time. Dont put off what can be done today until tomorrow. Being lazy will eventually lead to failure. Dont wait, because you dont know how long it will take when you put off your plan.
