接着就是礼节性的拜年了。如给朋友拜年，一进屋门，仅向佛像三叩首，如与主人系平辈则只须拱手一揖而已，如比自己年长，仍应主动跪拜，主人应走下座位做搀扶状，连说免礼表示谦恭。一般情况下，不宜久坐，客套话完了就要告辞。主人受拜后，也应择日回拜。

还有一种就是感谢性的拜年。凡过去一年中对人家欠情的，如曾帮助过自己的人或老师、师傅、医生等，就要买些礼物送去，借拜年之机，表示感恩谢意。

由于平时劳碌，年节期间人们一般起得较晚。若过早登门拜年，往往让主人措手不及。做客逗留时间一般以半小时至40分钟为宜，这样，既不失礼貌，又不影响主人接待其他客人。拜年时，若进门问声“新年好”，旋即匆匆离去，也会给人以“缺少诚意”的感觉。

按照我的家乡的习俗，春节差不多在小孩子放假的时候就开始了。而家家户户也会在这几天里尽量的吧需要的食材准备好，开始做食物。

在这期间，我们老家人最重视的食物就是——茶果。它虽不如外面那些零七八碎惹人喜爱，也不如那些可以调制出来的糕点好瞧，但却有一股浓浓的情谊包含在里面。

它长得千奇百怪，有平凡丑陋，但在我的老家确堪称美味点心这一代号，它的香味，让人闻了食欲就会活生生的被调起来。不过，在重大的节日，茶果可就不能再这么相貌平庸的上台了。人们多数会将他们从锅里烧好，拿出来盛在印有梅花印等之类的白瓷盘里，然后再在他们的周边点缀一些刚从树上摘下来的新鲜果子，切成小块小块的，再放到指定的梅花印盘子里。这样一来，这茶果不仅色味双美，还微微透着别具一格的风情。

孩子们准备回家过年，第一件大事儿就是帮人家捣面团儿。那白溜溜的面团儿家搅在手里，总是怪好玩儿的。而激昂面团揉好之后，便将面团儿交给长辈们，让他们做东西给自己吃。第二件大事便是买些小玩意儿，然后大大小小的聚在一起，展现自己手中的能力。恐怕第三件是才是保护自己的新衣服，以免他们新年还没过便糟蹋的不成样了。

等到出席来了，便到处都是酒肉的香味。男女老少穿起新衣，门贴红对联，在大街小巷贺新年，也是必不可少的事情。除夕夜鞭炮声连绵不断，不管是谁都精神抖擞的。

当然，春节那日来时，就截然不同了大伙儿聚子一个大堂里，聊天、喝酒、看表演、耍戏子样样都有。原本分在四处的桌子此时也拼成几个大桌子，每个桌上都有自家做的茶果和新鲜玩意儿，以及自家儿女在外地带回来的小食，特别热闹。晚上，大伙便在自家亭院白起桌子，赏景聊天；小孩子们则在则在一旁地安置等、财迷，玩躲猫猫。这的确是美好快乐的日子。
