8月18号，我和爸爸妈妈还有爸爸的同学一家人去了烟台，下午三点多的时候，我们到了烟台，然后就在海边附近的酒店订了房间，先把行李放在那，然后我们就去海边散步，那里的天气由于是海洋性气候所以非常凉爽，不像这里那么热。

在晚上的时候，我们抬起头来看天空，整个天空星罗棋布，都是星星，像沙子一样多。

第二天，我们就去了青岛，青岛是一个很典型的城市，它的大部分马路都是单行道，所以在去一个地方的时候，坐车比走路还要慢，坐车要二十几分钟，走路可能几分钟就到了。我们都知道有一种啤酒很出名，而且还是NBA合作伙伴，那就是青岛啤酒，在青岛市的时候，我们还去了青岛啤酒的总厂，进去了之后，前面有一个喷泉，喷泉中心是一支用石头雕刻的青岛啤酒瓶。然后在瓶口里喷出水来，那水就像啤酒一样。在那里，我们可以尝到原汁原味的青岛啤酒。在啤酒厂中，有一个小屋，叫醉酒小屋，这个小屋子很神奇，如果一个人在里面，即使没有喝酒，也会醉，很神奇，其实这个屋子不是平的，而是水平面向上倾斜45度，然后在低的那边，应该有一个引力机把你吸过去。

第三天我们还在青岛。

第四天，我们去了蓬莱，听说八仙是在那里过海的，我们也去了蓬莱阁。我们一共去了六天，在这六天里，我学到了很多课堂上学不到的知识。

紧张的学习阶段结束了，到了愉快的暑假，我除了完成每天的暑假作业之外，我还做些什么呢？

我看见小朋友在游泳池自由自在地游来游去，我十分羡慕。我想:我决不做旱鸭子，要争当游泳能手，我就要学习游泳! 妈妈送我去学游泳。我们一进到游泳池，就看见许多大人和小孩，男的，女的在游泳池里游泳和嬉闹，十分热闹，我恨不得马上跳进游泳池去，可是不行呀!我不会游泳，有危险，会淹死人的。 妈妈看着我跟教练学游泳。我去很多次才能学会游泳。第一次学闭气和潜水。我跳进游泳池，水就进了鼻孔，鼻子酸酸的，有点害怕。教练说:怕水还能学游泳 我鼓起勇气，闭气把头潜入水里，这样多次潜水，我就会了。第二次学打水和夹水，我练了又练，终于在教练的帮助下，我学会了打水和夹水，第三次学蛙泳，就像青蛙那样在水里游，可是我不会换气，只能闭一口气游，游不远。第四次学换气，先站在水里，在水面上吸一口气，把头潜入水里呼气来，可是一边游一边换气就难了，这次没有学会换气，下次我一定要学会。我就坚持练下去，有了很大的进步。 我看见有的小朋友带着游泳圈游，觉的很好玩。教练说:靠游泳圈很难学会游泳。我觉得有道理，我没有买游泳圈。

暑假里，我既学会了游泳，又锻炼了身体和意志，全家人都很高兴，说我长大了!

只见我左手拎着筐，右手一个接一个捡，忙的我不亦乐乎。这时姥爷叫我了：哎，你不能只捡大的，不要小的呀！，我回头一看，我捡过的地方，还有许多我认为不用要的小土豆，姥爷一边捡一边意味深长得对我说：孩子，要知道，我们都是农民，一开始应就懂得‘粒粒皆辛苦’的道理，这不管是大的还是小的土豆都不能浪费呀！我看着姥爷被汗水浸湿的衣衫，默默地点了点头。

经过我和姥爷的努力，一大筐土豆呈现在我们的眼前，虽然有点累，但我还是很高兴。

期末考试完了，暑假就要来了。为了让暑假过得有意义，我有以下打算。

1、锻炼身体。参加学校的暑假足球队，每天坚持和爸爸打羽毛球、网球、篮球、排球，骑自行车，让身体更棒、更强壮。

2、我要把老师布置的作业做完，复习已学过的课本知识。

3、如果我考试考得好，作为奖励，爸爸妈妈带我去北京玩，看看美丽的长城、故宫、天安门牙、中华世纪坛、水立方等景点，拍很多很多的照片给同学分享。

这就是我的暑假计划。

In other words, I must find time to study, too. So I divided my time between work and play during the summer vacation and derived much benefit from this arrangement.

I spent this summer vacation in quite a different way. I used to run about every day in previous summer vacations, but this summer vacation I simply could not afford to do so. I would soon be in the last year of my high-school education and would after graduation be up against the college entrance examinations. Though those examinations were still a year away, I had to start early to make myself well prepared by reviewing all those things I had learned at school and this summer vacation was the ideal time for me to do this. At first I was rather dismayed at the thought of this, but later I thought it was better this way because by working hard this summer I could count on endless happy summers to come. With this in mind I then set to work like anything and only occasionally went out for a change or did some physical. I was not at all bored by this kind of life, for I was sustained by a hope.
