Most Chinese students have difficulties in learning English. The difficulties vary so much from person to person that it is difficult to cite here in a few words. Some may have problems in reading. Smiling can let you have more friends. With a smile, people will know you’re a kind person. They will talk with you, so you will have more and more friends.

So I say, smiling is like a flower, the sunshine, warmth. It will give you happiness.

Welcome to Suzhou. Today I’m your tour guide. Suzhou is a beautiful place in Southeast China. It was built over 2500 years ago. So Suzhou is an old city with a long history. It’s famous for its gardens and Hanshan Temple. We are all proud of them. Many foreign tourists come to see them. In Suzhou, There are lots of old constructions like Tiger Hill, Beisi Pagoda and so on. After visiting them, you’ll be tired. But don’t be worried. There are also lots of snack shops in Suzhou. They are different from those in Western countries. They are much more delicious than some Western food. Suzhou is a modern city as well as an old city. There are lots of tall buildings and many other modern constructions in Suzhou, too. You can find hundreds of people in smart clothes in the street. What a beautiful city it is!

As soon as we became students of Grade 3, we had to make up our minds to study hard. Because we have the motive forces of study. They may be our dreams of life.

We must all want to study in Haimen Middle School in the future, so the competition for study will be very fierce. Both in class and after class, we think about our knowledge and work on the hard problems. We all believe that the harder we study, the better we will become.

But we have to face difficulties and hardships. Even though, we cant give up our life dreams. When you suffer a setback, think about your dream, then rally your forces. Make a spurt towards your dream!

[关于初三英语作文：Our Dreams Of Life

十月一日是国庆节，也是我最喜欢的节日，因为国庆节是纪念中华人民共和国成立，为庆祝这个伟大而重要的日子，可以放七天长假。

这次的国庆节我们去了苏州阳澄湖吃大闸蟹。早上，我们背着帐篷，带着我最喜欢的吊床，兴高采烈地出发了。刚开始一路上都很顺畅，但后面开始有些堵，我坐在后面晕晕乎乎的，大约过了好久，“快看，阳澄湖”，我被老爸的叫声惊醒了，“蹭”的一下我就坐得笔直笔直，像一颗挺拔的松树，转头向窗户望去，“哇！好大的一条湖啊！”我禁不住赞叹道。爸爸问：“想进看阳澄湖不？我就带着你们围绕着阳澄湖跑一圈”，“不要不要，赶紧去搭帐篷吧，我已经从早上等到现在了！”我不耐烦地说。“好吧，我们现在去找一块漂亮的草地，就沿着阳澄湖边。”说完，爸爸继续往前开。

一股青草味道从窗户缝里飘进了我的鼻子，一副美丽的景色呈现在我的眼前。我兴奋地跑下车，催促爸爸妈妈打开后背箱，抱出帐篷和我心爱的吊床，自顾自地跑向充满了紫色薰衣草花的花海。搭好了帐篷，我像一只小老鼠似的“嗖”地一声就钻进了这只绿色的帐篷里。“朵朵，快来呀！好多螺蛳哟！”爸爸大叫道。我顾不上穿鞋就光脚跑到爸爸身边，低下头往湖里面看，只见一成群的螺蛳黏在木桩和石头上，我伸手往水里捞，抓住一颗螺蛳的尖尖头往右拔，螺蛳被我拔上了岸，我高兴的捧给老爸看我的杰作，老爸夸我真厉害！这时，妈妈端来香喷喷的大闸蟹，我口水情不自禁地流了下来，我像一只饿老虎一样，张牙舞抓的跑过去。大闸蟹红红的，一个个冒着热气，我抓起一只就叫妈妈，“妈妈，快给我剥，我等不及了！”妈妈答应着并熟练地将大闸蟹剥开给我，我抓起一个肚子就开始啃起来，吃得我满嘴蟹油，“哇！这不愧是阳澄湖大闸蟹，味道真是太棒了！”我用舌头舔了舔嘴巴的蟹油说道。吃完，我们又买了一盒打包带回家。

阳澄湖大闸蟹真是太好吃了，带回来的蟹也很快就被我啃完了，爸爸妈妈说我真是个小吃货！

这一次的国庆节充满了乐趣和蟹味，这将永远印在我的记忆里，Ilikethenationalholiday！

时间可以没收我一些记忆，但它，没收不了，它就是端午节。因为在那一天，有美味的粽子，有屈原浓浓的爱国之情……在战国时期，楚国大夫屈原因苦劝楚王无果，报国无望，忧愤而投江自尽了。楚国百姓知道后十分悲痛，为了纪念这位成为清正的大夫，把糯米捏成团投入江中，希望鱼儿吃了糯米而不吃屈原的尸身，因怕蛟龙所食，就拿楝叶包裹好，拿绳子绑上。此做法逐渐演化成了“端午节”。

在端午节这一天，即使不到海边观看赛龙舟，也毫不沮丧，因为在家可以吃到如小山般的香喷喷的粽子。

奶奶可是包粽子能手。奶奶总是娴熟地把粽子卷成斗状，放入浸泡了3个小时的糯米，接着放入咸蛋，五花肉，红豆等，放好之后再盛一些糯米来填满，用粽叶包裹好，在用绳子捆紧打结，一个似小山的粽子就包好了。过了不久，就包了许多各形各色的粽子，接下来放入锅中蒸，蒸几个小时就好了！在粽子还没有煮好时，肚子早已饿得咕噜噜着在叫了，我拍拍肚皮，说：“肚子啊！你在忍一下哈，马上就煮好了，别在叫了。”，刚说完好像就更饿了，好像有许多虫子在咬我的胃，难受！

粽子一蒸好，我立马掀开锅盖，顿时空气中飘着让人无法抵御的棕香，就就连蒸粽子的开水好像在和我抗我抗议：“这么香的粽子不让我蒸久一会儿。”我早已盯得口水直流了，下意识就拿起一个最大最香的粽子，急忙解开绳子，帮它脱掉了它那翠绿的绿“衣裳”，再撒上似雪花一般的糖点缀着，一个美妙艺术作品就展示在眼前了……我迫不及待地咬下去，嗯，糯米的软、鸭蛋黄的咸、与糖的甜，这三者融合在一起，那味道妙不可言！我三两下就吃完了，回味无穷，唇齿留香，大大的满足！

在这个节日里，我不仅读懂了屈原的爱国情怀，也品尝到了美美的粽子味，如此节日，我怎能忘怀。
