At one time, I tried to work out in a gym two or three times, but I finally gave up just because I had no time for it and always felt very tired after doing exercise. Once I tried going on a diet. However, after about a week, I could not go on because I felt so hungry that I was not able to continue my studies. Then I bought and took weight-loss pills in secret. Shortly after, they did work and I was losing weight fast. But soon I felt tired and weak sometimes.

In my opinion, the schoolwork now being assigned to high school students is too heavy. while it is true that students need to study, they need other things as well if they are to grow into healthy and well-rounded adults. high should be allowed more time for play. plying is not wasting time, as some think. it gives them physical exercise, and also exercise their imagination. which tends to be stifled by too much study.

定格的记忆

我上学的必经之路是一条热闹的商贸街。

每天早晨，我闻着“鸡蛋大饼”的淡淡清香，听着炸油条的“砰砰”作响，穿过买早餐、吃早餐的熙熙攘攘，快步走向校园。然而，那一天，那幅极不和谐的画面绊住了我的脚步，永远地定格在我的记忆中。

那是一个头发乱蓬蓬的老头，肤色黑得像山顶洞人，身上居然披着一件破旧的大棉袄，穿着好久没有洗过的很短的裤子，脚上拖着一双露脚趾的破布鞋，背上背着两个黑乎乎的包袱，他被压得像一张没有弹性的弓……大家围在他的四周，你一言我一语，有的指手画脚;有的捂着鼻子快步走开;还有的像躲避瘟疫似的，闪得远远的;也有人流露出一丝同情和怜悯，却不知如何是好。

此时，老人走到一个馒头摊儿前，直愣愣地瞅着雪白的馒头，喉头动了动，他应该是饿了吧?只见他哆哆嗦嗦地拿出了一个皱皱巴巴的钱包，伸手在里面摸索了一阵，掏出来一张纸币——五角钱!他把口袋翻出来，里面却空空如也……无奈，他在摊儿前徘徊着，徘徊着，眼睛始终紧盯着那一个个雪白的馒头!馒头摊主用眼角的余光扫了老人一眼，便瞥向别处去了，装作什么也没有看见，继续着他的生意。

这幅画面狠狠拽着我的心弦，很疼。我呆愣了几秒后，悄悄走上前去，掏出口袋里的五元钱，攥在手心，想要替老人买下馒头。然而，这时众人的目光忽然齐刷刷地都看向我。

我的脸“腾”地一下红到了脖根，我赶忙背过身去。

但是老人那衣着褴褛的样子、佝偻的身躯、饥饿的表情、摸索的双手，牢牢定格在我的眼前，挥之不去。我偷偷地回头望了一眼，老人依然呆呆地立在那儿，脸上因汗水的浸泡像糊了一层泥，简直就是一个没人要的脏兮兮的孩子。

我手中的钱已被汗水浸湿，时间飞快流逝，不能再犹豫了，要不然上学要迟到了。

终于，我径直走过去，伸平那攥皱的五元钱，快速塞到老人手里。老人先是愣了一下，随即又笑了，露出快要掉光的参差不齐的牙齿。

每当遇到需要帮助的人，我总会毫无顾虑地走上前。因为曾经的那幅画面牢牢定格在我的记忆，激励着我勇敢地伸出援手。

our environment is becoming worse and worse，what can we do for the environment?I think each of us can do a little bit to help with this problem。

我们的环境变得越来越糟糕，我们能为环境做些什么?我认为我们每个人都可以做一点点来帮助解决这个问题。

The first thing we can do is to use cloth bags instead of plastic bags when we go shopping. It helps to protect the environment. The second thing we can do is to reuse the old textbooks as possible as we can. We should also never forget to turn off the lights when we leave the classrooms in order to save energy. Whats more，it would be better if we walk or ride a bike to school. We should try our best to reduce pollution and waste。

我们能做的第一件事是用布袋代替塑料袋当我们去购物。它有助于保护环境。我们能做的第二件事是尽可能重复使用旧课本可以。我们也永远不会忘记关灯，当我们离开教室时，为了节约能源。更重要的是，它会更好，如果我们步行或骑自行车去学校。我们应该尽力减少污染和浪费。

In fact，even the simplest everyday activities can make a real difference to the environment. I believe we can make the world a better place to live in。

事实上，即使是最简单的日常活动也能对环境产生很大的影响。我相信我们可以让世界更美好的生活。

When I was dreaming just now, my robot woke me up. Oh, it was nine o

clock. Now I get up. It s time to get up! This morning I will study science

lesson on the computer. I needn t go to school. There are fewer schools now. It

is a sunny day today. My parents work in the other city. They often ask me about

my lessons through the television. But I always want to play with my friends.

Now the robot is helping me clean my house and the garden. After that it will

stay with me till I go to bed. It will work out the problems of the computer and

cook meals for me.

我们生活在科技时代，当然家家少不了电脑。我家的电脑长期超负荷运转，今天又死机了，哔——哔——响个不停。

以前也有过这种现象，凭经验判断，响十几下就好了，可是这次响了五六分钟还是没反应。妈妈闻声过来，不悦地说：“你是不是把电脑给弄坏了?”我真是哑巴吃黄连——有苦说不出呀!妈妈看了一会儿，撂下一句话：“你自己修理，修不好不玩。”我只好乖乖地“修”，对我这个门外汉来讲，只能算胡乱捣鼓。

我使出毕生所学来找毛病，最后，我把主机箱打开了，看到里面有个小风扇，还有无数条红线、绿线、黑线以及好多好多小零件，真令我眼花缭乱。经过我再三观察，原来是一条顽皮的红线跳到了小风扇旁边，风扇转动，与它摩擦，就发出了哔——哔——的声音。我用螺丝刀小心翼翼地把线挑了出来，可刚一松手，红线又淘气地跳回去了。这当然难不倒我，一截黑色电胶布，往主机壳子上一粘，风扇就运转正常了。

这算是修好了吗?试试看!我重新启动电脑，听到它欢悦地发出正常的嘀嘀声后，显示屏就亮了起来。啊哈!我竟然把电脑修好了!正当我手舞足蹈得意欢呼时，“砰”的一声，不小心把主机壳子踢掉了，原来是刚才忘了把螺丝拧上了。我再次蹲下身，仔细上好每一颗螺丝钉，把机箱安装好，这才大功告成。

这次修电脑让我懂得了做什么事都要勇于尝试，只要动脑筋总能找到办法。还有，千万不可以粗心哦!

Different countries have different customs and different ways to celebrate

festival.

In our China, we have a variety of festivals, of which celebrating way

is different. For example, we will eat mooncake in Mid-autumn Festival and have

dragon boat races in the Dragon Boat Festival and eat zongzi.

But in some

extend, we celebrate all the festivals in the same way. Every family will have a

big meal with their family. It is a time for family gathering. No matter what

kind of celebrating way for a festival, it is the time to enjoy life.

Happiness is important in our life. In fact, happiness is always around you

if you put your heart into it.

I will never forget one thing. Once, I had a bad mark at a math test. I was

shy and afraid to meet my parents. But when I got back home late, my parents

knew what happened, they said to me: “It doesn’t matter, my child. Remember

we’ll be always beside you when you need help. We believe you can be better next

time. Never give up!” I was moved and made up my mind to work harder and

harder.

I feel happy. Whenever I am in trouble, I can feel my parents’ love. I want

to be a good child for my parents.
