中秋节是一年秋季的中期，也是我国第二大传统节日，妈妈说：“这个时候正是秋收，姥姥家里特别忙，所以我们决定去姥姥家过中秋节。”

姥姥家的院子里全是玉米，一堆一堆的，看上去好像一座座小山连在一起。吃过午饭，我们一家人开始剥玉米，我也学着姥姥剥了起来，被玉米皮裹的严严实实的玉米，总算见到阳光了，金灿灿的，我试着把剥下的玉米皮拽掉，感觉又累又难，妈妈说：“你这样拽太费力气，只要用力一扳，玉米皮就全下来了。”我照妈妈说的去剥，果然又快又轻松。不一会儿，我们就剥了一大堆黄澄澄的玉米，好看极啦!这时我仿佛闻到了爆米花、玉米糊的香味!这个中秋节我好开心啊!

我们学校的“大嘴巴英语节”到了，这一天，我们班的同学有的带玩具，有的带水果，还有的带图书…真是丰富多彩啊！

下午一到，我们便秩序井然地排好了队，带好了物品，下楼到了大操场。那儿已经有很多班级准备好了。我们坐在了塑料袋和书本上，将物品依次取出，排成一长排，一切准备好后，第一场拍卖会便开始了，我们当商人，让其它同学来买。当我转身看后面时，发现后面的人就像蚂蚁一样，黑鸦鸦的一片直奔而来！等了半天，没一个来买我的玩具，吴雨婕等不及了，大声吆喝，突然有一个小朋友走过我们面前，嘴里还说：“太幼稚了！”又过了一会儿，有几位小朋友睁着大大的眼睛，仔细地找着他们想要的东西，这时，吴雨婕向一位男同学叫道：“走过不要路过，千万不要错过！”男同学一惊，啪唧一下倒在了地上，笑得前仰后合，嘴中含含糊糊说：“我从来没见过这样的高人！”说完就走进了杂乱的人群中。

There are many traditional festivals in China. My favourite festival is the Spring Festival. It is a very important festival for Chinese. Most children in China love this festival because they can play fireworks and lucky money from their parents and relatives.

教二（1）班的一个同学学英语，我认为这个环节最有意义。教二（1）班的小朋友学英语不是一件容易的事。我们排着整齐的队伍来到操场上，学校的两个英语老师主持这次英语节的开幕式。接着，老师宣布：“开始教小朋友学英语。”我们就兴致勃勃地走向对面的那个小朋友。我教她的英语是“He’stallandstrong。”首先我给她读了一遍英文，并耐心地告诉她中文是：“他又高又壮。”我的话音刚落，小朋友就有模有样地学了起来，听上去讲得还不错。不一会儿，老师定的五分钟到了，在这五分钟内，我很认真地教她，她也很努力地学。我让她把自己的名字写在横线上。

英语节不仅让我学到了知识，还让我认识了一个新朋友。英语节在我们的欢声笑语中圆满结束了。
