What do know about the sea? Some people have seen it but others havent.

The sea looks beautiful on a fine sunny day and it can be very tough when there

is a strong wind. What other things do you know about it? Of course, the sea is

very large. In the world there is more sea than land. If you have swum in the

sea, you know that the sea is salty. Rivers carry salt from the land into the

sea. Some places of the sea are saltier than the other places. Do you know the

Dead Sea? It is so salty that you cant sink when you are in the water! And fish

cannot live in it!

敬的校长，您好：

我是中南大学一名普通的本科生，想提一些关于本科生教学的推荐。我觉得：教务部门的老师们就应走出办公室，来到学生的课堂和学生一齐听课，以到达督促讲师们提高教学水平的目的。

为什么这么说呢?因为我觉得，如果一个学生成绩不好，那他自身必须存在原因的，但是，个别老师的授课水平实在太差也是原因之一。

我以前就遇到过样两种让我感到很无奈的老师：一种是普通话说得很糟糕的老师。一个课堂，几十人，几乎就没有人能听懂老师在讲什么，于是该科目只好自学(事实上，那门课程全班的成绩都比较糟糕)。虽然中南大学有教授务必参加本科生教育的规定，但是我真的觉得，对于一个年纪比较大的老师来说，要想改变自己的口音、练出标准一点的普通话确实很难。我觉得这些老师可能更适合搞科研、带实验。

第二种是“PPT老师”：上课就开始念PPT，念到下课结束，完全和学生没有互动，真的没有到达课堂教学应有的目的。其实这还算好的，最近遇到一位老师，他连自己PPT上的资料都不熟悉：一次，他看到不会的地方，还要底下的学生提示才搞明白。这真的是教学态度出现问题了。

但是教得好的老师还是有的：比如化工院主讲《物理化学》的向阳老师，讲课能够用一板一眼来形容，条理十分清楚明白，坐在下面一听就会!还有讲《生理学》的罗老师，也是讲课的条理十分清楚，感觉课上的十分充实。(强烈推荐校长给这样的老师加工资!)

所以我觉得，主管教务的领导真的就应走出办公室，来到课堂中，来亲身体验一下老师们的教学工作做得怎样样，督促那些讲课水平差强人意的老师想办法提高自己的授课水平。我觉得，对于中南大学这样的“985”“211”副部级重点高校，更就应把自己的水平体此刻日常点点滴滴的教学之中，让学生们从中受益。

There are many kinds of sports that I enjoy, such as swimming, running, and

dancing. However, the sport that I like most is basketball. When I was in junior

high, I started to play basketball in school. At that time, I found I had loved

deeply this sport. Now, I would like to watch basketball games as much as I can.

The basketball games have given me the most wonderful time in my life.

My mom is about 45 years old.She has long hair and very big eyes. She is a

housewife. She always helps me with my homework before she cleans the house and

prepares dinner for my whole family. She is really a nice and kind mother.

My mom is always very reasonable. All she asks for is for me to complete my

schoolwork. If I get a good mark on my test,she will be very happy. If I dont

do well,she wont get angry. She will encourage me to do better next time.

I love my mom,so I give her a hug when I get home,and tell her she is the

best mom in the world.

I like to collect pencil case when I am in grade two, because I am so crazy

about the lovely cartoon pictures. When I watch a hot cartoon movie, then I will

start to search my favorite cartoon characters in the products. Pencil case is

around me all the time. When I see the pictures, I will be full of energy.

Today, my friend was ten years old and his family gave him a big party. He

asked me to join his party, which was such a big party. His home was full of

balloons. What a lively atmosphere was. We sang the birthday song to him and

sent our best wishes. We played funny games and had a great time.

Everybody has an idol in their heart, who will set the good example for

them. In my eyes, a good idol should bring the positive side to the public, so I

don’t mind whether they look pretty. My idol is the real hero. He works so hard

and never gives up. His persistence helps him to make the great achievement. I

should learn from him.

My home is on the first floor. There are two bedrooms， a kitchen and a

living room. I’m a child. I have a nice bedroom. In my bedroom， there is

bedroom， a closet， an air- conditioner and so on. My closet is green. My bed is

blue. I love my bedroom very much.

It is very hot and wet today and is called sauna weather.During my mom did

the cooking in the kitchen, I saw her head was sweaty.I told her I could help

her and she accepted.

After cooking,we were all sweaty .However, mum and I all felt happy. She

said I was growing up and became her good assistant.

Nurse:Oh ,you are terrible girl ,whats the matter with you?

Student:Yes,I dont feel well.I hurt myself playing soccer ball.

Nurse:Thats so bad,but you dont afraid of that,I can help you.

Student:Thanks,but what should i do?

Nurse:You should put some medicine on it,and bandage the cut,then take

breaks,but you shouldnt do some sports.

Student:OK,thank you very much!Ill do that now.

Nurse:Youre welcome,i hope your hurt can get better and better

soon.Bye,girl.

Today, when I go home after school, a cat follows me as I near my home. It

is very small and it has white hair. When I look at her for the first time, my

heart is melting. What a lovely cat. I want to take her home, but I couldn’t,

because she needs to come back to her mother. Finally, a boy comes to find her

and takes her home.

当前社会正在积极倡导低碳环保，地毯就是尽量少消耗能源，环保就是绿色无污染。“生态是借贷不是集成”之类的广告语比比皆是，无非是想告诉大家：低碳生活从我做起，环境保护人人有责。“

其实，我们学校在低碳环保方面已经做得很好，比如不允许同学们带瓶装矿泉水以减少塑料的使用，不许带零食，避免了包装袋过多的消耗，另外，统一服装，上白下蓝减少了学生在服饰上的攀比浪费。

我觉得除此之外，学校应将”低碳环保的生活方式“输入我们的思维定式，设定每周一节低碳环保宣传演讲，让低碳环保成为与安全、礼仪同样重要的课程，让我们新一代理解认识低碳环保的重要性，全球变暖的危机才有可能在将来环节。

在低碳环保课上，让老师给我们讲述节约用水用电，环保出行的小窍门，以便我们回家后能够向家人、邻居宣传低碳环保的方法，告诉身边人如何生活更低碳，确保”低碳生活从我做起。“

另外，我建议在学校设立一个废电池回收站，因为电池中有许多有毒物质，一颗纽扣电池可污染60万升水源，而一节1号电池可污染1㎡的土地。如果每人每月扔一节旧电池，后果可想而知，而实验初中作为市中区的优秀学校，应起好带头作用，让同学们将自己家的废电池送到学校电池回收站，当废电池积累到一定程度送交最近的废旧电池回收站处理。学校回收废电池，可以在一定程度上缓解污染，保护环境，让每位同学为低碳环保尽一份力，多向绿色无污染的世界迈进一步。

这就是我对低碳生活的建议，希望得到校长的认可。

I like reading books so much, especially the comic book. When I start

reading, I can’t focus my attention for a long time if the books are words

everywhere, then I find comic book is perfect for me. I can not only read very

quickly, but also won’t feel bored. It is a good way for me to gain

knowledge.

this term i moved to a new house and studied in a new school. but i always missed my friend. my old house was move comfortable than this new house. i wanted to go back to my old house.

everything was strange for me,so i couldnt study better. i felt nervous in the first test. and i got bad scores,i felt very sad. the teacher shouted at me. and then,i felt under too much pressure and very tired. my parents were also sad with me. when my classmates knew this thing,she helped me,and gave me some advice. later,i thought i can be better next time.

I’m so hapy to learn that you want to learn Chinese in Zunyi Teachers’

College here.There is no doubt that to learn Chinese well is by no means an easy

thing, but I have some ideas that may help.

Firstly, it is important to listen to the teacher carefully in class and

take notes so that you can go over your lessons later.Secondly, try to practise

speaking Chinese as much as possible out of class and write down whatever you
