狗的本性灵活，世界上几乎没有一只狗是不贪吃不爱玩的。当看到老鼠、虫子、蚂蚁等“害群之马”的出现，狗便会大显身手，迅速地捕捉已盯紧的“猎物”，在狗的视线范围内，没有一只能够逃出它的“五指梅花山”。

狗的食量并不大，但十分挑剔。狗一天的食量大约的人类一天食量的三分之一左右。狗主要吃骨头、肉、鱼等，多数都不喜欢吃蔬菜和水果。人们把吃剩的骨头扔给他，它便会蹦蹦跳跳得跑过来，叼起来啃啊啃。但是如果你把吃剩的青菜、萝卜或其他蔬菜、水果扔给它的话，它却置之不理。

狗实际上是十分可爱的，它有时还会撒娇呢！你说呢？

我很自信地告诉人类：“我是狗!”

虽然没有人智商那么高，没有口若悬河、出口成章的语言能力;没有博古通今、出类拔萃的优异成绩;没有才辩无双、才高八斗的本领;更没有标新立异、捷足先登的创造力。但我心灵自由，每天没有烦恼，哪怕是一点忧郁都会在几秒种后消散。无论是谁打我骂我伤害我，都只是过去的事情，我只会活在当下，有一点快乐我就会忘记所有悲伤。我不记仇，不会因为恨某人而造成“机关算尽太巧妙，反算了卿卿相性命。”的惨痛结局;我不无餍，不会因为欲望而走上“以权谋私利，贪腐毁前程。”的败途之路;我不虚荣，不会因为名誉而变成“爱恨疑悔贪嗔痴，慕取幻影谁人知。”的沦落境遇;我不手足相残、反目成仇，所以不会陷入“本是同根生，相煎何太急。“的悲凉局面。

我知足，只要有一点东西就足够。我忠实，只要是抚育陪伴我的人，我便会言听计从。我开朗、乐观、自由、无拘无束。我喜欢在草坪上打滚嬉戏;喜欢在阳光下放肆奔跑;喜欢在花圃中追蜂引蝶。

对于生命，我想说：无知者无畏!哪里担心时光短暂!哪里担心多久会离开人世!哪里担心会遭人嘲笑!哪里会畏惧将来!我既然活着就会珍惜眼前的美好;既然活着就会享受当前的乐趣;既然活着，所以不会为了无法改变的事情去煞费苦心。谁说狗是低级动物?我们狗家族具有大多数人类没有的优秀“品格”。人的本性是自私，堆积超载的欲望。有许多人甚至是成功人士，未达目的不肯罢休，因为金钱利益闹个鱼死网破、两败俱伤。这些何必呢，我是狗!我单纯!我为自己洁白的灵魂感到骄傲!

我的名字叫狗，没有第二个名字，只有“狗”才能显露我的魅力!我为我是狗感到荣幸!我要像祖先狼一样，在丛山峻岭中嚎叫，向大自然展示最具生机的一面!
