It is widely noted that lots of traditional culture is disappearing along with the development of technology. Many ancient architectures and traditional ways of living have been deserted. It seems that the traditional culture and craftsmanship will be replaced in this modern era.

The following reasons can account for the above phenomenon. Firstly, traditional technologies are always considered ineffective while the new sciences are always highly efficient. Secondly, it is costly to protect the traditional culture. If the fund used to protect the ancient culture was instead delivered to the poor, it will be helpful to the improvement of their living standard. Thirdly, modern science and technology facilitate both our daily and academic life a lot. Mr Shao taught me English when I was in Senior Three.With the bald head and hunchback, the fifty or some man distinguished himself from his counterparts in many ways.

He was so addicted to tobacco that he couldn`t even skip acigarette in the corridor at the interval between two classes. Due to the long time consumption of cigarettes, his teeth had gone totally bad and occasionally let off unpleasant smell which really disturbed us when we were talking to him. At times, he came to recognize it and consequently found out a solution. He suggested we write down our problems and he answer them in the written form. Although I knew all along that he was a careful man, his quotations of five different dictionaries on a single multiple choice problem was still beyond my wildest dream.

What`s more, none of us could imagine how excellent his ancient Chinese literature was. What he tended to do in his class was to recite several segments of the famous ancient prose and then put them into English.  However, under the pressure of College Entrance Exam, the students didn`t seem to be so interested in his performance.  Therefore, he tried to stimulate the class by editions of Times as prizes for answering questions. 我试着努力去做好，为了圆我的大学梦，或许希望越大，失望就越大。伴随着高考结束的那一天，在无数期待的日子里，梦最终还是碎了，心也碎了，世界仿佛都窒息了！

可是，生活不得不继续，我不能放弃儿时的梦想，我还有着很多心愿未能实现。我知道一切的一切都可能重头开始，只要我有足够的勇气面对生活。

在无限的憧憬和遐想中，大学生活开始了。时间总是从你身后悄无声息的溜走，从你的脚底下滑过，从你的视野里飞过……不知不觉中，大学生活都快一年啦！还记得刚进大学时，每每独自走在偌大一个校园里望着一张张陌生的面孔，内心是那么的孤寂，就在那一瞬间，感觉到自己竟是如此的渺小。然而，我对自己依旧那么自信，其实有时候人真的很无奈，那也成为我振作起来的唯一动力。

很多时候，总爱回忆那段紧张而又充实的高中生活，那时的我们似乎还未长大，内心的那份童真似乎还未泯灭，想起了那个因为考试不及格倔强地咧嘴想哭却又冲我笑的女孩；想起了那个微笑着看人，喜欢歪着头问我问题的男孩；想起了……一切的一切都是如此的清晰明朗。当我们正活在当下时并未感到自己是幸福的，回头看看自己走过的路，剩下的也只有遗憾啦！这时让我想起一句极平凡的话“失去才懂得珍惜”想必就是生活的真谛吧。

我不想让自己生活在昨天，因为昨天没有希望，只有回忆。当我过多的注意昨天时，今天已无声无息地溜走，明天不知不觉的到来，我所拥有的是越来越多的归属于昨天。我不想再让自己的明天为今天而遗憾。

步入大学后，学习已不再那么的紧张，似乎有着更多的时间和空间由你自己去支配，只要你有足够的激情投入。渐渐的，感觉自己在无形中长大了，独立了，坚强了，时间老人总是那样的神奇，在他的带领下我找到了那片属于自己的天空。生活不再空虚，不再单调，不再孤寂……在学习上，自己从不敢懈迨，因为自己很清楚，生活是不会同情弱者的，不上进的人不该拥有今天的美好，即使生活给予我太多的磨难。我把每一次的失败归结为一次尝试，不去自卑，不去抱怨生命有太多的曲折，大海如果失去了巨浪的翻滚，就失去了雄浑；沙漠如果失去了飞沙的狂舞，就失去了壮观。人生也是如此，活得太庸俗，生命也就失去了原有的魅力。生活上，结识了很多朋友，一直深信着，茫茫人海中，能相遇是一种缘，能相识从而成为朋友更让我倍加的珍惜。每个人的心灵色彩都不会一样，每个人心中都有不同的世界，正因为如此，时而与朋友发生不快。曾因朋友的误解而悄然的流泪，曾因与父母出现了代沟而大声的哭泣或默然的伤感，曾因……也许这就是青春。青春时可以笑，可以闹，这都是青春给予我们特殊的待遇，如果有一天你不再拥有健壮的体魄，旺盛的精力，无限的潜力时，那时你已不再年轻。

英语书信是英语中最常见的应用文体裁，用途极为广泛。以下是小编整理的大学英语书信作文格式，欢迎阅读参考！

1、信头(heading)

信头是指发信人的姓名(单位名称)、地址和日期，一般写在信纸的右上角。一般公函或商业信函的信纸上都印有单位或公司的名称、地址、电话号码等，因此就只需在信头下面的右边写上写信日期就可以了。

英文地址的写法与中文完全不同，地址的名称按从小到大的顺序：第一行写门牌号码和街名;第二行写县、市、省、州、邮编、国名;然后再写日期。标点符号一般在每一行的末尾都不用，但在每一行的之间，该用的还要用，例如在写日期的时候。

其中日期的写法，如1997年7月30日，英文为：july 30，1997(最为普遍);july 30th，1997;30th july，1997等。1997不可写成97。

2、信内地址(inside address)

其中在一般的社交信中，信内收信人的地址通常省略，但是在公务信函中不能。将收信人的姓名、地址等写在信头日期下方的左角上，要求与对信头的要求一样，不必再写日期。例如：

3、称呼(salutation)

是写信人对收信人的称呼用语。位置在信内地址下方一、二行的地方，从该行的顶格写起，在称呼后面一般用逗号(英国式)，也可以用冒号(美国式)。

(1)写给亲人、亲戚和关系密切的朋友时，用dear或my dear再加上表示亲属关系的称呼或直称其名(这里指名字，不是姓氏)。例如：my dear father，dear tom等。

(2)写给公务上的信函用dear madam，dear sir或gentleman(gentlemen)。注意：dear纯属公务上往来的客气形式。gentlemen总是以复数形式出现，前不加dear，是dear sir的复数形式。

(3)写给收信人的信，也可用头衔、职位、职称、学位等再加姓氏或姓氏和名字。例如：dear prof. tim scales, dear dr.john smith。

4、正文(body of the letter)

位置在下面称呼语隔一行，是信的核心部分。因此要求正文层次分明、简单易懂。和中文信不同的是，正文中一般不用hello!(你好!)

正文有缩进式和齐头式两种。每段书信第一行的第一个字母稍微向右缩进些，通常以五个字母为宜，每段第二行从左面顶格写起，这就是缩进式。

但美国人写信各段落往往不用缩进式，用齐头式，即每一行都从左面顶格写起。商务信件大都采用齐头式的写法。

5、结束语(complimentary close)

在正文下面的一、二行处，从信纸的中间偏右处开始，第一个词开头要大写，句末用逗号。不同的对象，结束语的写法也不同。

(1)写给家人、亲戚，用your loving grandfather，lovingly yours，lovingly等;

(2)写给熟人、朋友，用yours cordially，yours affectionately等;

(3)写业务信函用truely yours(yours truely)，faithfully yours(yours faithfully)等;

(4)对上级、长辈用yours obediently(obediently yours)，yours respectfully(respectfully yours)等。

6、签名(signature)

低于结束语一至二行，从信纸中间偏右的地方开始，在结束语的正下方，在签完名字的下面还要有用打字机打出的名字，以便识别。职务、职称可打在名字的下面。当然，写给亲朋好友的信，就不必再打了。

7、附言(postscript)

如果一封信写完了，突然又想起遗漏的事情，这时用p.s.表示，再写上遗漏的话即可，要长话短说。通常在信末签名下面几行的左方，应于正文齐头。

注意：在正式的信函中，应避免使用附言。

8、附件(enclosure)

如果信件里面有附件，可在信纸的左下角，注上encl：或enc：，例如：encl：2 photos(内附两张照片)。如果福建附件不止一项，应写成encl：或encs。

我们有时可看到在称呼与正文之间有re：或subject：(事由)字样。一般在信纸的中间，也可与“称呼”对齐。还应在底下加横线，以引起读信人的注意，使收信人便于在读信之前就可了解信中的主要内容。事由一般在公务信函中使用，也可以省略。
