Secular institutions of control such as the police and army take the place of religion and family in maintaining order， and a money-based economy prevails. Because of these contrasts， "popular" may be viewed as clearly different from "folk". The popular is replacing the folk in industrialized countries and in many developing nations. 我有一个贪吃的表弟。

这时，妈妈又炸了几个鸡翅给我们。“看，不太好看；吃，还蛮好吃的。”表弟的淘气话比鸡翅还有味道，把我们逗的开怀大笑。“那你先吃吧！”我非常大度的让表弟先吃。可他毫不客气，一个风卷残云般地就把鸡翅全吃光了。

更让我好笑的是，浩浩很“聪明”。最开始，对他的一爹――我的爸爸不熟悉，我爸爸去抱浩浩，浩浩就拼命地挣扎，不停地哭，可爸爸却毫不示弱，抓住浩浩的手，一直把他抱到一个非常神秘的物体前边，浩浩就不再哭泣了。原来他看到了――最想坐的“电动摇摇车”!浩浩手舞足蹈起来，坐在“宝贝儿”哈哈大笑。买东西时也很机灵，知道买玩具需要钱，所以一边拿起玩具，一边命令我的爸爸给钱。事后，我们发现了一辆70多元的、质量也不大好的玩具汽车，爸爸在那儿庆幸：“幸好浩浩没发现这辆车，不然我就遭惨啦!”

Second, they are setting priorities and living those hours outside the workplace to their fullest. In fact, professional success usually requires the same time-management skills that are useful to find time for family, hobbies, and recreation. One need only look at the recent American presidents-Clinton, Bush, Reagan and Carter- to see that it is possible to lead a balanced life which includes time for family, hobbies, and recreation, while immersed in a busy and successful career. Third, more professionals are changing careers to ones which allow for some degree of personal fulfillment and self-actualization. Besides, many professionals truly love their work and would do it without compensation, as a hobby. For them, professional and personal fulfillments are one and the same.

the target of 500 meters and repeat the target, then I can finish my original

goal. It is the same way to realize our dreams. Though we are in middle school

now, we need to equip ourselves with knowledge. What we learn today will decide

what we will become tomorrow. The first goal for us is to enter a better high

school and then continue to fight for the college. But college is not the end to

fight, which is just the beginning. The way to realize our dreams is long.

我有个表弟，是我舅舅的孩子，今年两岁半了，因为他见人就笑，所以小名叫笑笑。

他在他们小区可算得上是“super-star”。因为他皮肤雪白，像个白面书生，一对乌黑的大眼睛像两颗闪烁的宝石，再配上他那大大的“招风耳”，真是可爱极了。所以只要他下楼来散步，都有人来逗他。

别看他长得文文静静，可是，也没少让人操心。就在他一岁半的时候，我们全家开了一次紧急会议，这因为他都一岁半了，还没开口说一个字，可是，同龄的孩子都会说话了。因此，大家都很着急，甚至，他的爸爸、妈妈都怀疑他是不是个哑巴。所以大家一致同意：我们要逼他说话，如果他不开口说话，我们就不能满足他的要求。我想他这种喊

一天，笑笑弟弟指着他心爱的汽车玩具发出了“嗯、嗯、嗯”的声音，可是没有人理他，这下可把他急坏了。他又使劲喊“嗯、嗯、嗯，可是还是没有人理他。过了许久，他突然大叫一声“拿！”，可把大家吓了一跳，还好，他不是哑巴，而是“茶壶里煮饺子，有数倒不出来”呀！从此，他终于开口说话了，并且表达能力突飞猛进，很快赶上了同龄孩子的水平。

笑笑弟弟的胆子可小了。在他两岁生日时，我和妈妈送给他一辆漂亮的自行车，可是，他不敢骑，而且，每次大人一提到要带他去骑车，他都会缩头缩脑地躲到自己的房间去。他嘴里还嘟囔着：“怕！怕！”。但是，他很崇拜我，我到哪，他就跟到哪，我做什么，他也要做什么。于是，我就想了个好办法。一天，我骑着自己的自行车来到他的面前，故意做出很轻松的样子，还边起边说：“真好玩！真好玩！”他终于动心了。就这样，他不仅学会了骑车，而且后来还成了骑车迷。

亲爱的表弟：

你好，你知道什么在我们中国占重要地位吗?当然是孝啦，“百善孝为先”嘛。我知道一些关于“孝”的故事，让我讲给你听吧。

1962年，中国外交部长陈毅出国访问，回国后路过自己家，想到家中多年不见的老母亲，他便决定回家去看看母亲。陈毅的母亲年事已高，又重病缠身，常年卧床，生活不能自理。当她看到陈毅时十分高兴，正要和儿子打招呼，忽然想到换下来的尿湿的裤子还在床边，就示意身边的人把他藏起来。陈毅与老母亲聊了起来，过了一会儿，陈毅问母亲：“娘，刚才我进来时，您把什么藏起来了?”母亲看着瞒不过儿子了，就和陈毅说了真相。陈毅听后就去帮母亲洗所有的脏衣服，他一边洗一边和母亲聊天，直到把脏衣服都洗完。

那是发生在以前的事，在我身边也有一个关于“孝”的故事。我每天早上都可以看见一个妇女推着一把轮椅去散步，轮椅上坐着的是她的婆婆。原来这位老人腿脚不便，大夫说老人要呼吸新鲜的空气帮助治疗，所以这个妇人才每天早上都推着老人去散步。

“孝”对于父母、长辈来说，其实就是我们乖乖听话、好好学习，帮他们捶捶背、捏捏肩，就这么简单。父母把我们养育成人，我们应该对父母近点孝心。“孝”是中华民族的传统美德，我们要将它发扬光大!

要说起表弟，那可是要费费我的口舌了。表弟的名字叫杨浩宇，今年5岁了。他长着一双大大的眼睛，小巧的鼻子，秀气的嘴巴，穿着牛仔裤，远远望去还挺帅的。

我们在一起的时候不多。因为他跟着舅舅在北京，只有过年时才回来，今年过年回来了，我刚到姥姥家。就听到浩宇在叫姐姐，我过去抱起了他。我们买了很多炮，我在旁边站着，突然响了一声，我一看，原来是浩宇放的。浩宇对我说，我一滑一滑他就着了，我听后哈哈大笑起来。舅舅问我发生了啥事，我一五一十的对舅舅说了。舅舅听后也哈哈大笑起来。

这就是我的表弟，可爱吧。
