The generation gap refers to the difference in attitude toward thing or the

lack of understanding between young people and older folks.

In families as well as in society, the young and the older may not agree

with each other on this and that from time to time. Young people would llke to

make as much money as they could and spend as much money as they could earn

while older folks are easily satisfied with what they earn and save as much as

possible. Young people llke the exciting and deafening pop music while older

我跑到田里一看，天啊!大片玉米已经被奶奶拔了一大半，菜也拔了一大半，奶奶体质真好，比我还厉害，我连忙跑上去帮忙，奶奶看见我来了，就说：“你来了，快帮忙，再拔不完，就吃不了饭。”听到这句话，我就加快速度拔，可玉米好像专门跟我搅劲似的，我怎么拔也不出来，好不容易拔出一个，再拔第二个，我用力过度，居然把自已摔了个四脚朝天，真倒霉，我艰难地站了起来，继续拔玉米。一个上午，我居然只拔了十几个玉米，奶奶的篮子却是满满的，我心想：真服了我自已。

下午，爷爷说他要去钓鱼，问我去不去，我说：“我才不去，上午拔玉米已经累的半死，去钓鱼说不定我还被鱼拉进水里呢!”爷爷说：“你不去就算了。”我在家里看电视，消磨时间。

太阳逐渐落山了，留下了最后一抹红霞，我们一家将饭菜桌椅搬出了门口，开开心心地吃饭，当红霞渐渐隐去的时候，月亮也出来了，夜深了，到处响起了青蛙声和蝉声，它们的叫声好像歌曲一般，让辛苦的人们安然地进入甜美的梦乡。

我的家乡南昌是个“怪”城，冬不冷，夏不热的，既不像上海是科技发达，金融贸易的大城市，也不像老舍笔下的济南，温暖舒适，气候宜人。要说起它的特色，大概就是那小雨吧，一年到头，没个停的。

春天，别的城市是桃花妩媚，梨花香甜的花花世界。而南昌像一只甜甜睡着的小绵羊，只有偶尔的小雨陪伴着这城市里的人早出晚归，像不辞辛苦的爸爸妈妈，终日保护着我们。

可别说，“春雨贵如油”这话可没错，要不然那小草哪能那般青绿呢?水果哪能那么快上市呢?街上的人哪能个个含着笑脸呢?南昌哪能是公认的“鱼米之乡”呢?

夏日炎炎，人家是家家“九牧”，户户“美的”呀!为什么?没听广告说着么：“九牧，好洁具的标准!美的，生活原来可以更美的!”，烈日当头，你不让人家洗澡，吹空调，还要活吗?可南昌不一样，别以为你“夏天”能称多久英雄，我“暴雨”现在就来惩治你，说完，“哗啦啦”一盆大雨浇下来，连打雷都省了，虽然有时候会把人淋个“落汤鸡”，不过对于南昌省水省电的费用还是有不可磨灭的功劳的。(作者：顺便提醒旅客，若来南昌玩，伞是必需品。)

秋高气爽的秋天，我还和如常一样，与妈妈去游泳馆畅游泳池。

妈妈眯着双眼，笑着说：“宝贝，今天水池的水有些冷，要不要回去呀?”我起初认为妈妈在开玩笑，把双脚一蹬猛地扎到水里，“诶呦，太冷了。”我顿时像只“被冻僵了的鸭子”爬上了岸。太冷了，汗毛根根直竖，鸡皮疙瘩布满全身，我快冻成冰雕了。

我用脚尖小心翼翼地点了点池边的水，有点凉，再跺跺脚，好像有点适应了，接着蹲坐在池边，双脚一点一点往池中伸去。冷!但好像还能接受。掬起一捧水往身上浇，好冷!再来一次，冷!再来一次，我已经能接受这水温，一下子钻进水中。开始前进，在水里右脚站好，左脚心贴墙用力一蹬，双手在水里画出了一道美丽的弧线。我自由自在地游着，仿佛自己就是一只青蛙，快乐地生活在水里。我正这么想着，哎呦，脚好像碰上了什么东西，我爬上岸去，右脚破了，好深一个口子。不行，我还要游泳，不能白白浪费这次机会，但想到明天脚可能会肿。小心翼翼把脚放进水时，哪晓得妈妈就潜在脚下，妈妈的手像海草似的抓住我的脚，一使劲，让我成了个落汤鸡。为了让我不再受伤，妈妈在旁边保护着。我的心里像装了十几只兔子，上上下下地跳着，于是我闭上双眼，凝住呼吸，把头扎到水里，脚一蹬，成功!我在水里做出了剪刀手。我灵活得像只小鱼一样，360度旋转着，越有越畅快。

可是现在，我们的学习压力很大，虽然我们也很想多读书，可是过重的学业负担和五花八门的课外补习班，辅导班压得我们喘不过气来，哪里还有时间多读书呢?因此，我特别期盼能设立一个读书节。

在读书节这一天，大家不用上学，不用做作业，可以尽情地看课外书，痛痛快快地在知识的海洋里畅游。可以和同学朋友交流自己的读书体会，表达自己的独特见解。还可以和同学把书中的情景表演出来!读书节可以每个月一次或每周两次。

我多么希望有一个读书节啊!

最近一段时间，北大学子吴谢宇弑母案闹得沸沸扬扬，它本该是向着成功的彼岸一步步走去，但他却转身，回头，走向了犯罪的不归路。

吴谢宇弑母案只是其中一件，而如今弑母案越来越多。而也有许多学生因不满老师管理而对老师大打出手，甚至发生了一起又一起弑师案。这也许这是学生的道德问题念。但还有一批又一批国家辛辛苦苦品样的人才奔向美国为美国做研究，留在中国的却在少数。为什么?因为教育，因为教育的失败!因为中国式家长逼迫让孩子做自己不喜欢的，因为在中国，梦想与现实，还是会选择现实。而美国支持他们的科研，有专门的办公室，可以投身自己喜爱的事业中，而中国，大多数父母只是逼迫你选择另一条人生，而这样的人生又有什么意义呢?家长也为此给你报一个又一个补习班，不关你是否喜欢。只是为了你不在社会上淘汰。但是，他们忘记，兴趣是最好的老师，他们却不支持你的兴趣。因为你的人生已经被他们计划好了，从你出生那一刻，就像一个牵线木偶。压抑了自己的个性，必须服从权威。也许这有些可怕，但现实就是如此，当然，只是大多数家长。

在中国，一个孩子跌倒，妈妈扶，爷爷奶奶哄，爸爸清理伤口，其实就破了点皮。仿佛一点挫折也不养孩子收，殊不知，挫折才是成长。一次在超市，以为孩子因为妈妈没有给他买心爱的玩具，对妈妈拳打脚踢，妈妈在一旁躲闪，爸爸要出出手教训孩子，却被妈妈拦住，可想而知，这个孩子平日在家中的地位。一次我回家，手里拿着拼图，一个孩子突然指着我的拼图说;”我想要。”他的母亲用祈求的目光看着我，孩子见我不给，竟大声哭了起来，还对我吼你到：“你为什么不给我。”我没理他，走了。这位家长也许没有让孩子明白：世界上有许多东西不是你想要就能得到的。

我劝家长和老师们醒醒吧，教育不是权威，不是扼杀个性，扼杀创造力，分数并不代表一切，不能太过于看重分数了，也不能过于溺爱，不要走向两边的极端，请给孩子自己的一片天空!

我紧张得浑身直冒出冷汗，啊，张老师走到我身旁啦，我以迅雷不及掩耳之势用手捂住了作业，心里祈祷：千万别被老师发现啊……因为张老师对我们要求特别严厉，比如上课谁说话被发现了，就会被罚背课文。你可别以为背课文很简单，如果是学神的话，可能需要二十分钟会背，如果是学渣的话，那最少也得四十分钟了。所以，我可不想被老师发现。

我猛地一回头，只见罗海洋还在树荫下清闲得发呆，而我却在太阳下辛苦的捡垃圾，我皱起了眉头，对罗海洋说道：“罗海洋你在那儿发什么呆呀还是不是朋友呀?真是一点儿忙也帮不上。”

罗海洋好像没听见似的，不管我怎么叫他，他也不过来。他自言自语地说道：“怎样才能让别人不再乱扔垃圾了呢，让我得好好想想。“有了!”他从书包里拿出一张纸和一支笔，在上面写道，“爱护环境，人人有责”不，不新颖，不如这样写……于是他又拿起笔开始写。

我好不容易地捡完了地上的垃圾，已经是汗如雨下了。我擦了擦汗后，看见罗海洋拿着一张，“文明只差一步”的纸条粘在了垃圾桶上。我望着罗海洋，轻轻地笑了，刚才的不愉快，早已飞到九霄云外了。

过了两分钟，有一个比我们小很多的小弟弟，随手就扔了一个空瓶，但他回头看就看见了垃圾桶上有“文明只差一步”的，六个黑色大字，赶紧把空瓶拾起来，扔进了垃圾桶。他望着我们，我们也望着他，我们大家都不约而同的笑了。我嘴巴一动，说出这一刻的感受，文明就在我们的身边，我们一定要好好保护它!

No dream, no hope, you cant do any meaningful things. If your whole life

just go with the flow, there is no goal that you cannot really love or respect

yourself.

If you just mix one day for a day, every day after work and weekend

holiday, are made with TV and boring dinner party to pass the time, then you

cant get any sense of achievement, there will be no satisfaction, let alone

happiness.

We all need to have a goal to release the full potential. The target is

larger, the greater the can inspire the potential of the. Studies show that many

people are not happy, feel pressure big, like the debate and argumentative,

because cant find meaning in life, goals and direction. They think life is too

boring!

Recently, global warming has become a hot topic among people. It results

from serious air pollution. As the environmental pollution is more and more

strict, the temperature of all the world has dramatic increased. Gradually, some

disaster such as drought, floodandGlaciers Melting follow. How terrible it is!

Therefore, we need to protect our earth and fight against the disaster

together.We should start from the trivial side. Making contribution to

protecting our home.

记得儿时，妈妈很少给我讲故事，给我讲的几乎都是古诗。一开始听起来觉着乏味，但慢慢地，我越来越觉得有趣。

听到杨万里的“怪生无雨都张伞，不是遮头是使风”，我便在家中撑起一把大伞挥来挥去，寻找风的方向;听到杜牧的“天阶夜色凉如水，坐看牵牛织女星”，我便会仰望星空，寻找银河里的牛郎织女星……古诗给我的童年带来了好多的乐趣，读古诗，我会去还原诗人的场景，找到好多乐子。

龚自珍的“落红不是无情物，化作春泥更护花”，我从小就喜欢。打从听到这个后，我就对落花情有独钟，我特别喜欢去捡落花，用落花制作各种香水，残留的花便拌入泥土。妈妈每次为我在干嘛，我就会堂而皇之地回答：“我在帮掉落的花瓣找回家的路。”妈妈便笑笑，还会和我一起玩。

渐渐地，我长大了。我不再玩落下的花瓣，但诗句经常萦绕在我耳畔。我开始感受古诗给我带来的诗情画意和无穷力量。诗人赋予落花是一种怎样的情感，花儿凋零，落入泥土，这个再寻常不过的自然现象，被诗人发觉了，认为花儿是不忘自己的使命，宁可把自己渗透进泥土，也要去完成自己的心愿，去呵护来年新绽放的花朵。诗人为什么会有这种想法，诗人是把落花比作自己，借落花来表达自己虽然辞官还乡，但也要立志为后代出力。

古诗是梦幻的，是神奇的，是给人启迪、给人力量的。它让我憧憬“桃花潭水深千尺，不及汪伦送我情”的友人之情，让我震撼“王师北定中原日，家祭无忘告乃翁”的爱国之情，让我共鸣“临行密密缝，意恐迟迟归”的伟大的母爱，让我期盼“海纳百川，有容乃大”的豁达之情。

学古诗、爱古诗，诗人们的爱恨情仇在我们的生活中也无处不在，“前不见古人，后不见来者”!中华上下五千年的历史让我骄傲，古诗给我的光明，会照亮我前行的道路。

唉，我老弟又感冒了，这下他又有得罪受了，每回生病最痛苦的莫过于吃药了，每次给他喂药都要爸爸、妈妈、奶奶三个人齐上阵：妈妈抱着弟弟，爸爸摁住弟弟的脚，奶奶扶着弟弟的头，不让他乱动，然后妈妈再趁弟弟大哭，张开嘴巴时，用汤匙把药强行灌下去。我在旁边看着，都于心不忍，更何况是爸爸妈妈呢!可又有什么办法呢?!弟弟才1岁半，什么都不懂，又不能跟他讲道理：“良药苦口。”这是我生病吃药时妈妈最常跟我说的一句话。

“妈妈，你带弟弟去看病，这么快就回来了。咦，弟弟在咳嗽，你怎么还给他吃棒棒糖呢?”

妈妈笑着说：“这哪是棒棒糖，这是医院里的医生刚刚给弟弟开的药，确却地说，这叫棒棒药糖。不信，你看，这袋子里还有8颗，而且是香蕉味的，药单子也在袋子里面。”我将信将疑地接过袋子，打开一看，里面果然有8颗黄色的棒棒药，加上弟弟手里的那颗刚好9颗，一餐一颗，刚好三天的药量。

妈妈接着往下说：“因为大多数宝妈都在反应：宝宝生病，喂药难。所以，咱们县医院最近引进了三位高级机器人药剂师，一位负责把医生开的处方药与果糖、乳糖调配好;一位负责把调配好的药制成各种水果味的棒棒药，制成的药的性状虽改变了，但它的药效不会改变;另一位是负责扫描检测药的成分、剂量是否与医生开的药方相符;最后才是漂亮的护士阿姨负责在取药窗口发放药品。”

太棒了，弟弟再也不用怕吃药了。瞧，他正津津有味地添着棒棒药呢!真是药如其名呀!“我也想生病，我也想吃草莓味的棒棒药。”

“馋猫，药再好吃，它终归是药。”妈妈笑着拍拍我的头。

我咯咯地笑了起来?????

“晓晶，我让你做作业，你怎么趴在桌上做白日梦呢?”

妈妈的声音把我从梦中惊醒，我才知道这原来是一个梦。但我相信，现在科技这么发达，在不远的将来，这个梦一定能变为现实。

they lived. They understood instinctively that integrity means having a personal

standard of morality and ethics that does not sell out to expediency and that is

not relative to the situation at hand. Integrity is an inner standard for

judging your behavior.Unfortunately, integrity is in short supply today--and

getting scarcer. But it is the real bottom line in every area of society.And it

is something we must demand of ourselves.

A good test for this value is to look at what I call the Integrity Trial,

which consists of three key principles: Stand firmly for your convictions in the

face of personal pressure.

When you know youre right, you cant back down. Always give others credit

that is rightfully theirs. Dont be afraid of those who might have a better idea

or who might even be smarter than you are. Be honest and open about who you

really are. People who lack genuine core values rely on external factors--their

looks or status---in order to feel good about themselves. Inevitably they will

do everything they can to preserve this facade,but they will do very little to

develop their inner value and personal growth.

So be yourself. Dont engage in a personal cover-up of areas that are

unpleasing in your life. When its tough, do it tough. In other words, face

reality and be adult in your responses to lifes challenges.

Self-respect and a clear conscience are powerful components of integrity

and are the basis for enriching your relationships with others.

Integrity means you do what you do because its right and not just

fashionable or politically correct. A life of principle, of not succumbing to

the seductive sirens of an easy morality,will always win the day. My

grandparents taught me that.
