ethnic groups and with time-honored history and civilization, China abounds in

intangible cultural heritages. Cultural heritages connect modern people with the

historical past, allowing them to acquire a cultural and historical identity.

Without cultural heritages, we would be rendered absolutely rootless and we

would find it hard to cope with challenges at present and in the future.

However, the modernization process poses mounting threats to intangible

heritages. Many people have a blind faith in the latest electronic devices. It

is also pathetic to see elderly people in possession of such legacies pass away

without transmitting them to the younger generation. Faced with those

challenges, we should both preserve and renovate our ancestral heritages so that

we can help contribute to the cultural diversity of the world and return to our

spiritual homeland in this age of impersonal science and technology.

With the rapid process of modernization, computer becomes more and more

popular. Nowadays, almost every family has a computer. Because of computers, our

daily life is improving.

Computer has a great effect on our daily life. In the first place, computer

has so many functions. As we have computers, we neednt buy books, radios, TVs

and any other things, because computer can take place of them. Secondly, surfing

on the Internet must be very interesting. Through the Internet, we can do

everything we like. Thirdly, thanks to the Internet, we can get the further

education at any time, so we dont have to get up so early in winter days.

However, a coin has two sides, because its new doesnt mean its always

good. At present, most students spend too much time on computer games. I dont

think its a good phenomenon, because it will do great harm to our eyes as well

as our health if we play computer games all the time.

In my opinion, we should use the computers in the right way. For instance,

we can read the latest news on the internet to know the world better; read the

e-books to enrich our knowledge or download some useful information for our

work. We can also make different friends on the Internet, so that our life will

be colorful. I believe computers will be our best friends if we make good use of

them.

我的心愿就是能有父母的陪伴。爸爸，您有多久没有和我们在一起吃饭了?我也知道，是您的工作忙，每天早出晚归，有时忙得都顾不得吃饭也要工作。您知道吗?在我的记忆中，我都记不得您什么时候接过我上下学，有时放学看到同学的父母来接时，我有点羡慕，您何时才能再一次如巍峨的大山屹立在我的身边呢?

妈妈，您的工作也很忙，您以前周六周日在店里忙时，您不停的脚步声萦绕在我耳边，我多想帮您啊，但您总是说：“现在你学习就行了，其它的事你都别管了。”我也只能点点头去写作业。但您也不忘关心我的冷暖，问我在学校发生的事，问我在学校学的知识。但有时我也连续好几天都不见您，只能有时在夜间迷迷糊糊感觉到您帮我拉拉被子，白天却见不到人影。

爸爸妈妈，您们可知道，我多么希望有您们的陪伴。以前低年级时，没考好，您们会说：“下次继续努力。”现在我考不好，您们会批评我，露出失望的表情。但我的心里也不好受，我只能在心底说：下次一定要努力，不能再让您们失望，操我成绩的心了。

爸爸妈妈，我也能理解您们是工作忙，没有时间陪我，我一点儿不怪您们。我一定要努力学习，将来好好孝顺你们。但我也希望您们尽量抽出一点儿时间来陪我。

At school, I study Chinese, Math, English, Computer, and so on. I like all of them. I am a monitor, so I often help my teacher take care of my class. I think I am a good help. And I like Tuesday best because we have English, music, computer and P.E. on Tuesdays.

When I am at home, I often help my mother do some housework and my mother says I am a good help, too. My mother is a teacher. She works hard. She is kind. Many people like her. She often teaches me the way of learning well. (If you want to learn English well, here is some of my advice. At first, you must read many articles and know many words. If you meet up with some new words, you can look them up in the dictionary. You should know their meanings, how to read them and spell them. If you keep working hard, you will be successful. 我最喜欢端午节了。是因为可以上好吃的粽子，糯米里有香肠、有枣子、还有肉，端午节还有一个有趣的传说，楚国有个爱国诗人屈原，公元前340年楚国灭亡了。屈原很痛心，在五月初五这一天投江自杀了，人们怕小鱼小虾吃屈原的身体，他们用竹筒把米装起来投进江中，可是被蛟龙偷吃了，后来人们知道了蛟龙最怕苇叶和五色线，人们用这些东西把糯米包了起来。蛟龙看见这些东西就吓走了，这样小鱼小虾不吃屈原的身体了。于是到了这一天人们把包好的粽子投进江中，一年又一年就成了习俗。

我最喜欢端午节了，我最喜欢吃粽子了，我最敬佩屈原了。

说起中国传统文化那可是数不胜数，而让我记忆最深刻的就是那春节了。

春节是中国人最传统的节日，是象征团结、兴旺，对未来寄托新的希望的佳节，如何庆祝这个节日，在千百年的历史发展中，形成了一些较为固定的风俗习惯，有许多还相传至今，其有个风俗习惯就是吃饺子了。我为了能吃上这美味的饺子，我就自己做了起来。

想吃饺子当然就要包饺子，这饺子可不是那么容易做的。包饺子之前首先要和面，我倒了一些面粉放在盘里，接着又拿碗倒了一些水放了进去，刚开始水倒少了，揉出来的面拿了起来，向下掉面渣，我又加了点水之后，面全部都粘在我手上。哎!水总是加不合适，光和面就这么难，等到吃上饺子要等到什么时候啊!我又加了一点干面粉，面总算弄好了，我拿起饺子皮在妈妈旁边学着包饺子，包出来一个又一个饺子，之后我突然觉得包饺子也不是那么困难，终于包好了。开始煮了，我在锅旁盼着饺子煮熟，看着饺子在过的翻腾如同一条条白色的鱼儿在欢快的玩耍。饺子煮熟了!嘴里吃着香喷喷的饺子，心里说不出的开心。我觉得离中国传统文化走进了一步。
