第一步：兴趣。兴趣使然，如果你把学英语当成是一种娱乐，一种使你兴趣盎然的娱乐方式。我把英语当做是一种荣耀，一种享受，也把这种荣耀和享受化为自己的优势，弥补其他学科的缺憾。但是，这只是我的方式，也有的人其他方面很优秀。或许，不是学习上的，却也是一种优势。就比如，很多人喜欢玩电脑，就可以把学英语当成在玩电脑，每一次的检测都是打电脑的一关，把自己当成闯关的人，学习的过程，考试是终点，老师就是最后的评委。

第二步，记忆力：记忆力的好也可以帮助学习，但是死记硬背的方式实在是套古老了，也太死板了，再好的兴趣也会被消磨光。所以，可以用一种节省时间，增加兴趣，享受时间的方法。在老师留作业，抄单词或句子的时候，先抄一遍，再根据脑袋里“肯定”的答案在接着继续默写，这样就达到了节省时间着点了。还有在背课文的时候，有些同学们后觉得这些太多了，太难了，简直就是在谋财害命，但老师就是硬要我们被下来，太痛苦了！那么，在这个时候，你可以把被课文当做是在背诗，记歌词，背诗背着背着就顺了，记歌词记着记着就好像是自己在听喜爱的音乐一般，这也有了增加兴趣，享受时间和节省时间了。

第三步，自信：不论是丘吉尔的“好运”还是海伦`凯特的身体残缺，贝多芬的老年失聪，他们都凭借着自己的努力而成功。当然，在他们最努力的时候才是他们最自信的时候。因为他们都相信自己，才有努力的动力。而我们不论是学英语还是其他的什么科目，相信了自己，才有成功耀眼的那一刻！

每年的12月25日是圣诞节。在外国，圣诞节就和中国的春节一样重要。最近这些年，中国也开始过圣诞节了。

圣诞节前一天，妈妈买回来三包大小不同的雪花、一张圣诞老人的卡片和两棵小圣诞树。妈妈说：“装饰房间的任务就交给你啦!”“保证完成任务!”我自信地说。我找来双面胶，从客厅开始装饰。我先在推拉门的玻璃上贴上了六角形的雪花，在门前贴上雪白胡子的圣诞老人，在空调旁边放了一个圣诞树，又从玩具箱里找出五彩缤纷的小铃铛、彩球、星星、彩带和彩纸。我把小铃铛、小彩球、小玩具、小星星挂在圣诞树上，把塑料块用彩纸包好，系上彩带，一个漂亮的小礼物就做好了。我把小礼物也挂上，一棵漂亮的圣诞树就新鲜“出炉”了。下面该给另一棵圣诞树做“美容”了。我把它放在了我的房间里，在它上面挂上了橡皮、彩笔、铅笔、尺子等文具，并给它取了个好听的名字——“文具树”。看着布置一新的房间，我的心里就象开了一朵灿烂的花，快乐而激动。
