每逢盛夏时节，正是葵花盛开的季节，当你和几个伙伴玩耍在田间的小路上，瞧！那金色的向日葵，一米多的身材，一个个都弯着脖子和你点头微笑，孩童般的脸上嵌满了锐利的眼睛，像珍珠般在阳光照射下忽闪忽现，仿佛能洞察大干世界。圆脸周围插满了金黄的叶子。叶子像个芭蕉伞，从下至上有层次地分布在身子的两旁。远看就像一支支漂亮的少女排着整齐的队伍在等待着首长阅兵。

当你站在高处举目望去，一幅美丽的画卷便马上映入你的眼帘。朵朵向日葵艳得迷人，五彩缤纷，像天边的彩霞那么耀眼，像金色的太阳那样辉煌。瞧！这向日葵总是面向太阳，在盛夏烈日中，不怕酷热茁壮地生长。当你踏到葵花地时，一股沁人肺腑的清香扑入你的鼻孔，你能不为这葵花的清香而赞叹吗？

向日葵不但美丽清香，而且还容易长大，她从来不消耗大自然给她的温暖，不管是在土墙上也好，还是在贫瘠的土地上也好，只要有一粒种子，她就不择地势，随地生长起来了。向日葵还有极强的生命力，不怕干旱，不怕秋霜，只是一味地无忧无虑地生长。每当我看到向日葵这种坚强不屈的高尚品德，使我不由而生敬意。向日葵还有自我牺牲的精神，你看，向日葵的籽可以榨油，又是人们休闲放松的健康佳品。她的花盘可以喂羊、喂马。她的杆农民家庭可以生火做饭。总之，用途极广。可见向日葵要求于人的可谓少也，给予人的可谓多也，这就是我赞美“向日葵”最重要的原因。

向日葵还可作为崇高品质的象征。回眸2008，那不平凡的一年，百年奥运，它将载人中国历史的史册，它体现了中国的繁荣和富强。向日葵不但象征了在2008奥运会上为国争光的奥运健儿，也象征了在2008汶川大地震中，抗灾救援为国捐躯的勇士。

我赞美向日葵，更赞美那些战斗在教育战线，为中华的崛起，哺育我们成长的辛勤园丁。

我站在纯净的天空下，背后是一片金黄的向日葵，放眼望去，好美。

那片土地是我幼时的天堂。我常常在那里呆很久。喜欢望着天空发呆。因为，我在寻找，寻找向日葵望着的地方到底隐藏着什么，那里也会有好玩的吗？

每一次，我总是不停地问妈妈：为什么向日葵总是向着太阳呢？”妈妈用她祥和的眼神看看着我：“因为啊，太阳是向日葵所向往的。”我不懂，又拉起妈妈的手：“他在向往太阳什么。这一次，妈妈回答不上来，她说，等你长大吧，等你长大或许就会明白了。；于是，那便成为我童年一直无法解开的谜。

后来在一本书上看到，向日葵一直是向着太阳的，它们的花盘会随着太阳的东升西落慢慢转动，但不管怎样，一直是朝着太阳的。它们以向上的姿态在每个清晨迎接朝阳冉冉升起，它们以最崇敬的眼神凝望每个午时烈阳的耀眼夺目，它以享受的态度接触每一寸阳光。

一直不能明白，向日葵到底在坚持什么。直到有一天我亲手栽种了一株向日葵，我才突然明白，阳光赋予它的，不是温暖，不是和煦，不是单纯的光和作用。向日葵在太阳那熠熠生辉的光中看到的是理想。

是的，理想是那样一展明亮的灯，它放出的光是源源不断的勇气和希望，困难在它照耀下畏缩，力量在它的鼓舞下成长。我想这理想已经深植于向日葵花体内，所以它们可以那样高傲的昂起沉重的头颅，可以那样骄傲地轻视每一场狂虐的暴风雨，可以在每一次被践踏后倔强地仰起坚强地脸庞。

每当我考试不理想，心情郁闷时，我总想，到那一棵棵绽放的向日葵，我就又重拾起信心扬起理想的风帆再一次在大海里起航。

歌德曾说理想是人生的太阳。；是的，如果没有了理想，就如同折了翅的天鹅，任你在美丽，也不能在天空中翱翔。
