politeness， Id talk to them heart to heart。 Here I make friends with my new

classmates from everywhere around China。 Whats more， time and weather

permitting， I will enjoy jogging or playing basketball with my classmates on the

playground， tired but happy。 When staying in dormitory， I choose to read news

online and sometimes watch a film for relaxing。 However， a good student can

never leave his study behind。 When it es to study， hard problems never upset me，

Of course, there must be less than America and China, my shortcomings is very sloppy, every day to find things at home, watch on today, tomorrow to find, everything all over the place. Alas! The family and I cant, dont look at me in the life is very careless, but I dont careless, to solve the problem. I can check each question carefully. , however, and the occasional careless like that I do, because not serious topic, papers clearly demand reduction ratio, I have made for ratio! Worse, dizzy, abbreviation! Just because of this, the teacher gave me a buckle 4 points. After this lesson several times, I must be in the future to correct this bad habit, sloppy bull is not blown oh! Believe me!

Paint bottom like me? In the future there will be three years of time to test and verify. I really really want to do the north star - the brightest the star sky, of course, this need me to pay a huge effort.

[大学新生入学英语自我介绍

我在家里是独生子，爸爸、妈妈、奶奶对我娇生惯养，我都是衣来伸手，饭来张口。今年，暑假快来了，学校举办了“军事夏令营”，我心里立刻有了小算盘……

期未考试完的那个晚上，我在饭桌上来了个出奇不意。我隆重地宣布：“我要去参加军事夏令营”。我说完后，偷眼一瞧，爸爸举双手同意，可妈妈好像要生气了。我立刻再补充一句：“现在先不讨论这个问题，等吃完饭在讨论，以免引起消化不良。”我赶憋住笑，扒完了一碗饭，便逃离饭桌，让他们“吃去”。

回到书房做了一些儿作业后，妈妈进业说：“你先放下笔，等会再做作业听我说几句。”我早有，不慌不忙地坐在床铺上，静候听审。

妈妈开始劝我：“儿子!你是不知道军事夏令营的辛苦，你从小就没锻炼过，怎么能去参加。”我听了妈妈直率的话，立刻回答：“妈妈，别劝我了，我决心已完”。再说现在没有长硬翅膀，长大怎能飞，我如果去参加军事夏令营，一定说会把我软弱的翅膀长硬，而且我已经先礼后兵了。

妈妈的脸立刻鼻子不是鼻子，嘴不是嘴五宫都挪位了。妈妈好象要生气了，可她还是没发火。妈妈一走我可高兴了，谁知奶奶又进来了，我平生最听奶奶的话，我开始紧张了，还好我做好了心理准备，也就镇定了下来。

奶奶一进来，就说：“我的小孙子啊!夏令营可辛苦了，要不这样，我每天都带你去爬山，这样你就可以锻炼了”。我听了奶奶的唠叨，灵机一动，计上心来，对奶奶说：“奶奶!你不是总希望我吃得胖胖的嘛!我去参加夏令营，活动一整天，虽然累了点，但这样一来胃口就会大，我吃完再一碗再吃一碗，十几天不见就会重好几。哦!如果是这样……我不等奶奶说完话，就说：“奶奶，你答应我去参加夏令营了!谢谢奶奶!”奶奶笑了说：“那就由你去吧!”

最终，我参加了夏令营，独立自主了。我在心里跟不同意我参加夏令营的妈妈说：“妈妈!对不起!我需要独立自主，我需要一番锻炼，我相信等我回来时你一定会看到一个全新的我，到那时，你不赞成才怪呢。”

“你要独立。”这不是一句人尽皆知的名人格言，而是我母亲对我的要求，对我的希望。同时也是在我人生道路中的一盏明灯。在我无助、恐惧时，想起这句话，便会感到莫大的鼓舞。

记得有一个学期，我的成绩直线下降，同学们一个个都蹿到了我的前面，这使我的心情一下子变得很糟糕，总觉得自己就像是一朵万人瞩目的玫瑰，被赶下了台，沦落为一株角落里无人问津的野菊。我第一次尝到了失败的滋味，脾气也变得十分古怪。于是，我把自己的痛苦、烦恼一股脑地身母亲倾诉，希望得到安慰。但母亲听后，只是淡淡说了一句：“长大了，就要独立，就要学会靠自己去争去赢。”我听了母亲的话，愣在那儿。许久，才悟出其中的含义。于是，我开始沿着母亲指给我的道路奔跑……

我开始努力把成绩赶上去，让其他同学知道我也会追赶!我夜夜逼迫自己做一些习题，靠自己的毅力把睡意驱赶。终于，我的成绩一点一点地赶上去了。“世上无难事，只怕有心人”，我的成绩在没有父母帮助的情况下，再次冲向了第一名的宝座。那一天，我乐得合不拢嘴。这时，我更深一层地理解了母亲那句话的含义，我为此感谢母亲。

也因为这句话，使我在生活中独立，在学习上独立，将来也会在社会上独立……所以现在的我也变得习惯成自然了，很多事情不会再依赖父母的帮助。总是用这句话激励自己的心志，使自己早一天长大，早一天独立。

“长大了，就要独立。”这句话深深启发了我：人的一生总有长大的时候，在这段时间里，往往需要用自己的力量去完成一些事，而这种力量，正是每个步入社会应有的力量……

How time flies! One month has passed before I could take any notice of it. This is the start of my freshman year in Fudan University. At the very beginning, everything and everyone is strange to me. But now, everyday and in everyway, I am getting better;I am getting used to it.

I would like to tell you two things in my university life that are of great importance and interest.

Freedom is what I am looking forward to since the very first day of my primary school. A lot of people said to me, "Study hard, and you will get freedom when in university." But when I really entered university, I find the real situation is different.Freedom costs me a lot. If I refuse to wash my clothes, for example, they will just lay there, unclean. In a word, I have to do everything and take care of myself. Well, it doesn‘t mean that I don‘t like the life style. On the contrary, I like it very much though it is hard at the beginning. It is really a challenge for me.

I appreciate a famous saying from Albert Camus, "Freedom is nothing but a chance to be better." That‘s right. Real freedom comes with responsibility. Some teenagers believe that freedom means doing whatever you like. But I think that is not real freedom at all. One can have his or her own freedom, while at the same time respect others‘. It is not easy to think on behalf of others. University life provides me with this precious chance to practice it.

文章讲述了澳洲父母的教子方。澳洲人民的生活十分富裕，但他们利用各种艰苦的方式来磨练孩子。孩子口渴了，只给喝自来水;不论炎夏还是寒冬，父母都会带孩子去冲浪，大孩子就下水冲浪，而小孩子就在沙滩玩沙。他们的目的只有一个，就是为了让孩子学会直面人生的能力和本事。

读完文章，我对文中父母们的做法表示赞同。这么做不仅可以让孩子不娇气，增强独立性，还能让他们直面人生当中的挫折。娇惯的孩子不会独立，在社会中会对自己不利。所以，必须从小培养孩子的独立性。

澳洲的父母用“狠”来爱孩子，可中国的父母呢?他们给孩子吃好的，穿好的，上、放学还专车接送。从种种绑架中表明，有很多家境好的同学会成为犯罪分子的目标，这就是家长溺爱的结果，这样的结果决不会带来好处。许多孩子的生活不会自理，因为他们力所能及的事全由家长代劳了。

家长们，请不要再溺爱孩子了，与其让他们长大后面对挫折而惶恐无助，不如从小培养他们的独立性。这种爱的方式，或许是比溺爱更好地一种爱的方式。独立是给孩子们长大成人的礼物，这礼物，比金钱更实用。
