Competition makes people original and creative. It very necessary to compete if human society wants to advance. (Even animals compete for survival.) Without it， we would become lazy and nobody would rake any responsibility. When three monks live together， there will be no drinking water. This Chinese proverb vividly describes why Chinas productivity was so low before Mr Deng came to power. At that time， we had the so-called planned economy. There was no competition at all. So neither farmers nor workers worked hard. China was on the edge of collapse. Competition can stimulate people to try their best to do anything. For example， in 100-meter race， each sportsman runs as quickly as possible， trying to win the champion. The same things happen in our society and in our daily life. If a company wants to surpass others， it must compete with them. It must raise its efficiency. All the companies doing this will no doubt benefit the whole society and the whole human race. Being a student， I must compete with other students in our studies. I must study hard in all the fields so that I can be a useful man when I enter the society after graduation.

The Importance of Breakfast

As people are so busy with their work, they go to work directly in the morning without eating breakfast. Some people think not having breakfast does no influence on their body health. Some believe breakfast is important to peoples body health. In my opinion, Im convinced that we should have breakfast because it is good for our body health.

First of all, breakfast offer us the energy we need for the day. Before breakfast, our body has consumed all the energy we get from previous meal. Consequently, we need to eat some food in the morning to get enough energy and nutrient to support our body. If we dont have breakfast, then we have no enough energy to do our work efficiently.

Secondly, people who skip breakfast will get weight easily. If you dont have breakfast, then you will eat more food at noon and in the evening. Generally speaking, we dont have much excise in the evening while we eat too much food. As a result, the surplus calorie will be stored in our body and make us fat.

All in all, people should eat breakfast for the good of our health and for the good of keeping a good body shape.

人们都忙于自己的工作，所以在早上都会选择直接上班，而不吃早餐。一些人认为不吃早餐不会影响自己的身体健康。一些人认为早餐对健康很重要。就我来说，我觉得为了身体健康着想，我们应该吃早餐。

首先，早餐能够给我们提供自己一天所需的能量。在吃早餐前，我们的身体一斤高消耗完了前一餐的食物提供给我们的能量。说以，我们需要在早上吃点儿东西来给我们的身体提供一些能量和营养。如果我们不吃早餐，那么我们没有足够的能量，这样会导致我们工作效率低。

其次，不吃早餐的人更容易肥胖。如果不吃早餐，你将会在中午和晚上吃大量的食物。通常来说，一般人们在晚上的活动量会很少，但是，我们由于吃了太多的食物，那些多余的热量会储存在我们的身体里，让我们变胖。

总之，人们应该吃早餐，不仅为了身体健康着想，也为我们能够保持一个好的身材着想。

Besides, people are more willing to show their respect to the polite people and cooperate with them, bringing them many opportunities to change. Still most importantly, being polite helps reduce misunderstanding between people, contributing to a harmonious and enjoyable relationships.

Women are playing an increasingly important part in society today.In many countries,more and more women are acting as workers,farmers,scientists,and even leaders.We can say that almost all jobs which men can do are done successfully by women.Women are no longer looked down upon by society.

With the changes in their social role,womens position in family has been improved as well.Husband and wife are now equal in the family.They deal with problems of daily life together,and share happiness with each other.In todays families,women are not usually the ones busy with dinners.

In spite of these changes ,the liberation of women has not been completely realized.A number of men are self-centered,who regard women as incapable.Few women are allowed to attend important international meetings dominated by men.Thats really the problem we should solve immediately.
