The 9th day of the 9th lunar month is the traditional Chongyang Festival, or Double Ninth Festival. It usually falls in October in the Gregorian calendar. In an ancient and mysterious book Yi Jing, or The Book of Changes, number 6 was thought to be of Yin character, meaning feminine or negative, while number 9 was thought to be Yang, meaning masculine or positive. So the number nine in both month and day create the Double Ninth Festival, or Chongyang Festival. Chong in Chinese means double. The height people will reach is usually a mountain or a tower. Ancient literary figures have left many poems depicting the activity. Even today, people still swarm to famous or little known mountains on this day.

On this day, people will eat Double Ninth Gao (or Cake). In Chinese, gao (cake) has the same pronunciation with gao (height). People do so just to hope progress in everything they are engaged in. There is no fixed ways for the Double Ninth Cake, but super cakes will have as many as nine layers, looking like a tower.

My weekends are so colourful. Saturday morning, I usually climb a mountain. Then, I go to the zoo to visit my new friends Ben. In the afternoon, I usually do homework and read books. On Sunday, I usually do sports, play games, watch TV and read books.

Last weekend, I went to a zoo with my parents. Suddenly I saw a little monkey. It was hurt. We took care of him. Dad said:”How about naming it Ben?” We said:” Great !” We were so happy! But Ben can’t live with us. So we gived it to the zoo. I was sad.

Next weekend. I’m going to visit my new friend Ben. I am going to play with him. It is going to be a happy moment.

今天是我们盼望已久的六一儿童节，学校组织了入队仪式、吹泡泡，还有跳蚤市场义卖活动。

我起了个大早，背上种子和泡泡水，走进了教室。只见教室里挂满了气球、彩带，桌椅的摆放也和原来不一样了。哇！太漂亮了，简直不敢相信自己的眼睛，还以为走错教室了呢。

入队仪式开始了，大哥哥大姐姐给我们戴上鲜艳的红领巾，然后，我们右手紧握拳头宣誓，我的心情好激动啊！

接着，开始吹泡泡活动，我一手拿着泡泡水，一手拿着吸管往里浸了浸，然后又轻又慢地对着吸管吹起来。同学们吹的泡泡可好看了，有像彩色的气球，有的像透明的水晶球，有的像一串串圆圆的葡萄，形状各异。

进入跳蚤市场，好热闹啊！教室成了大卖场，课桌上摆满了各种各样的商品，同学们都是营业员和顾客了。我带了好多种子，不一会儿就全卖光了，赚了好多的钱。我要用这些钱帮助那些有困难的人。

这真是一个开心、快乐、幸福的六一儿童节！

人生中我们少不了老师，没有老师的教导，就没有我们今日的成绩，我要在这里感谢我的语文老师：刘老师。是她教会了我自信，教会了勇敢，教会我坚持不懈，现在的我一点都不自卑了，反而十分自信了呢!，我写了一首关于老师的诗歌，送给我最爱的语文老师：刘老师。

The Spring Festival

The Spring Festival， Chinese New Year，is the most important festival for all of us. All family members get together on New YearEve to have a big meal.At the same time， everyone celebrates to each other.At about 12 oclock，some parents and children light crackers.The whole sky is lighted brightly. We may watch the fireworks excitedly.How busy it is!

On the first early moring of one year， many senior citizen get up early and they stick the reversed Fu or hang some couplets on the front door. Some houses windows are sticked on red paper cutlings.

The Chinese New Year lasts fifteen days. So during the fifteen days， we always visit our relatives from door to door. At that time， children are the happiest because they can get many red packets form their parents，grandparents， uncles， aunts and so on. The last day of the Chinese New Year is another festival. It names the Lantern Festival.

So the Chinese New Year comes to the end.

在日思夜想中，一年一度的六一国际儿童节即将再度“登场”了。而今年的六一儿童节，我格外开心，因为我给青川乔庄小学的同学送去了一份“六一”节的礼物。

当周五下午陈老师告诉我们这个消息的时候，我万分激动，心砰砰地跳个不停。

晚上一回到家，我就准备起材料来。水彩笔、荧光笔、油画棒，还有……可是由于太晚了，所以还没开始制作，母亲就催促我去睡觉了，我只好恋恋不舍地去洗澡。

第二天，我起了个大早，直奔阳台，开始为青川小朋友制作小礼物。我在a4纸上添加了各种图案和花纹，并通过a4纸给小朋友写了一封信。我还为她准备了一套课外书，希望她能够喜欢。

我们知道，在大都市里，mp3、手机、火车、汽车、飞机、都是和常见的东西，而在青川，他们就像宇宙飞碟那么罕见。甚至要一个漂亮的书包，一个令人喜爱的铅笔盒都是一种奢望，在帮助她们的同时，我希望我们每个人都节约一点，献出一份爱心。

我觉得，我送去的不只是一份礼物，一张贺卡，而还包含了我们对他们的一份祝福、一份关心、一份浓浓的爱……

当我亲手将礼物送到快递的时候，我有一种前所未有的快乐，希望她收到礼物时能够露出一个灿烂的笑容。

赠人玫瑰，手有余香。因为我赠予，所以我快乐。这个六一节，是我十年来最难忘的节日！

不知何时起一缕有一缕的白头发代替了妈妈乌黑发亮的头发，不知何时起妈妈那富有光泽的脸渐渐的黯淡了，不知何时起妈妈挺起的背渐渐弯下，不知何时起妈妈的身体日日渐下，我想应该是从生我开始吧！每天早晨总是妈妈把我从睡梦中喊醒，传好衣服的我又来到厨房却发现，牙膏已经挤好了，脸盆中早已倒好了温热的洗脸水，洗漱之后，有吃着妈妈早早准备好的早餐，最后在妈妈不舍目光里上学去了，下午34点回到家后，又会看到我的桌子上已摆好了各种各样的零食，吃完零食后又在妈妈的陪伴下写作业……就这样，一日复一日。突然有一天，我发现我已经慢慢长大了，我非常欣喜，但在欣喜中我没想到妈妈已经一日一日的便来了。随着我年龄的增长，作业也越来越多了，陪伴妈妈的时间也越来越少了。也许在不久后，我将会超过妈妈的身高，妈妈的背有可能越来越弯。也许在不久后我会健步如飞，而妈妈只能在我的搀扶之下蹒跚行走。但我不会嫌弃，因为我知道妈妈把最好的青春献给了我！

今天是母亲节，我只想抱着妈妈大声说一句：“妈妈母亲节快乐。”

今天是十月一日，祖国妈妈的生日。

我和家人一起去文化宫玩。广场上人来人往，人们的脸上都洋溢着快乐的笑容。很多小朋友手里都拿着小国旗，大街两旁的店铺也插着五星红旗，大家都在庆祝祖国妈妈的6岁生日。

文化宫广场上的喷泉也开了。喷出漂亮的水花，在阳光的照射下，我在喷泉里看见了美丽的彩虹。

广场上有人在看图片，有人在散步，这里很多小朋友在做游戏，每个人都在文化宫广场上找到了乐趣，而广场因为大家的开心变得更加热闹了。节日的广场真是一个欢乐的海洋。

几千年的传统文化真是博大精深，源远流长。中国有许多传统节日，如：端午节、中秋节、重阳节等节日，而我最喜欢的就是一年中最热闹的节日—春节。

春节前夕，大街小巷的店铺都挂满了红灯笼，贴上了闪闪发光的对联，有着一派辞旧迎新的气氛，商店里的墙壁都粉刷一新，玻璃也擦得晶莹透亮。这时候，庞大的人群带着迎春的喜悦涌进大商店购年货，商店里的年货琳琅满目，多得让你眼花缭乱，无法选择。焕然一新的大街上，许许多多的小朋友高兴地拿着零花钱这里逛逛，那里玩玩，见到好东西就买下来。来来往往的汽车的鸣叫声、小商贩的叫卖声、孩子们的嬉闹声为这热闹的大街谱上一曲欢快的交响曲。

在除夕的晚上就更热闹了!我家的桌子上摆着许多美味佳肴：淌着汁水的红烧羊肉，有香气扑鼻的火锅，还有很多美味水果，让人垂涎三尺!我们举杯祝福长辈们身体健康，万事如意!长辈也希望我们好好学习，天天向上!餐桌上大家边吃边聊着这一年来的变化，聊到高兴之处，大家都开怀大笑。吃过年夜饭，我们坐在电视机前看着春节联欢晚会，演员们那一身身精湛的舞艺和那迷人的身姿、动听的歌声，让人佩服得五体投地!

夜晚，狂欢的气息川流不息，人们把一个个烟花点燃。烟花在天上喷出了一个个美丽的花朵，美丽极了。我看见小伙伴都在放，我想：让我的烟花也为这灿烂多彩的夜空画上美丽的一笔吧!于是我把烟花点燃，“砰!”的一声，烟花在空中烁出一道道绚丽无比的彩虹。“哇!好漂亮!”小伙伴们不约而同地向这里看过来，异口同声地喊道。我哈哈一笑，又点燃了第二个……

放完烟花的时候，是我们这群小朋友最快乐的时候，我和哥哥姐姐高兴地玩起了“跳山羊”的游戏。

春节真开心呀!我真希望天天都是春节啊!

昨天是六一节。

一早，我就兴奋的不得了，赶在闹铃响之前就起了床，饭后就提着大包裹（里面装着给同学们的礼物），赶往学校。我提着大包裹，又拉又拽地上了楼。看见教室变了样：到处装点着气球和彩龙，把教室宁静的气氛全赶走了，带来了却是一片热闹的节日气氛。我把沉重的大包裹放下，安静地等待着老师的到来。刘卓然也为同学们准备了礼物。他带了一大堆海苔，准备一人分三小包。

渐渐的，同学们到齐了。牟老师把我们带到了操场上，我们很快就坐。可是节目老是不开始，这下可急坏了我。我在台下急出了一身汗。终于，等了将近一个小时（九点），节目终于开始了。

领导讲完话，我就开始看节目了。最有意思的节目是郭子涵和她爸爸的小品《打针》。郭子涵当护士，这个护士不识字，他爸爸当病人，也是个土老帽。他爸爸来到医院的时候，护士要把针打到臀部上去，可郭子涵却说ding部，结果扎了几针也没扎进去。这下，郭子涵来劲了，扎了一针又扎一针，这下他爸爸生气了，对他说：“你这是在人家屁股上练剑还是在打针呀！”看的我们是笑得合不拢嘴。

因为感冒还没痊愈，所以节目快演完的时候，我有些坚持不住了，想闭上眼睡觉。结果被喇叭的声音惊醒了。

节目结束后，我们回到教室。准备了礼物的同学纷纷向大家赠送礼物，牟老师也把学校里准备的礼物发给大家。同学们都收到了不计其数的礼品，袋子都装得鼓鼓的了。这里面有脆脆鲨、棒棒糖、饼干，都是我爱吃的，因此我很高兴。

其他的同学都放了学，就留下我们五组值日了。六一这一天的垃圾最多。我们齐心协力，扫除了所有的垃圾，并硬撑着拖完地。看着教室里这么干净整洁，我心里真舒服。

就这样，我们快乐地放假了。
