As a chinese, I was really ashamed of having a little knowledge of dragon boat festival. Perhaps I was born in northern city, though my city is nearby sea, it has been built a U port which I can only see cargo ships and cant see the sweeping ocean. So I have never see the dragon boat contest since I was born. So the dragon boat festival is just a holiday for eating Zong Zi. My mother made Zong Zi when I was a child. 也不知是从何时起，我开始对过年产生了极大的厌恶，而这种状况也愈加恶化，逐年增强，不可遏止。也许我只是不想承认我在一天天变老。在这短暂的一年里，我的记忆是空白的。当我挤在拥挤的人流里，行人匆匆、路人忙忙，我被推攘着夹在其中，我望不见尽头我没有方向，我在里面慢慢沉沦。路人狰狞的面容使我不敢去求救，我怕刚出狼窝又如虎口。我就感觉着自己的身体在巨大的吸力下慢慢往下陷，满脑子的生死轮回。

其实在这种情况下（新年之际）我不应该说这些的，因为大人们说这是不吉利的。这是习俗。说起习俗可真是烦人。比如说：到了大年三十的前一天晚上也就是三十的后半夜不准再翻柜下地，如果想要下地还必须在嘴里含点东西随便什么都行。所以一到新年我就什么也不想干，只是机械化的规范操作完这一道道熟悉的程序，然后便埋头大睡。连拜年都懒的去。

村子里众多习俗中我最感兴趣的便是上坟。上坟的时间应该是大年三十这一天，基本每一次我都没有“缺席”。近几年，都是我自己去，就是不再与爸爸同去了。但是我们同路的却是一大片。村子里，我们也算是大姓人家。由于我们的祖宗是在一块埋的，所以我们都是成群结队的。每个人手提一个篮子，碰上是雪后或者是风大的时候，有的人抱着一堆柴草为了更易点燃祭祀的东西，然后一伙人便轰轰烈烈浩浩荡荡地向目的地前行。声势浩大气势宏伟。遇上别家上坟的人单枪匹马，但总要自言自语到：人啊多啊！我们便昂首挺胸大踏步向前走，一种豪迈的气势，其实很可笑。

在我的影象中我们的坟地似乎是最远的，来回得用三个多小时如果顺利的话，要是碰上下雪什么的则更甚。一个人在如此之遥长的路上难免寂寞，可我们就不同了，人多嘴杂，说什么的都有，大伙不时开怀大笑，笑声传的老远老远。

今年跟往常一样，只是天气格外的冷。我们十几个人在雪地里艰难地前行。他们不时的打趣，我低首不语默默地踩着别人的足印跟在后面。等到了坟地，我的手僵硬的都不能动弹，匆匆磕完头站在一旁看他们磕头，一脸虔诚的样子，很是好笑。可是我不敢笑。扭头看了看路旁的那几棵树光秃秃的样子，有点奇怪，因为每年的现在都会有成群的鸟儿在等待着享受美食，可是今年没有。也许他们从善了吧，我想。

整个下午我那也没去，我想一个人静静地想想今年所发生的一些事，有喜有悲。我怕过了今天我会忘记一切。估计有人会说我这是杞人忧天，也许是吧。我总是没事找事。有时就连自己都觉得自己很愚昧。今年的最后一个晚上，每个人都已做好了详细周密的安排，去什么地方玩。朋友拉我去玩，我不想去。我怕被别人冷落。他们都在尽情地玩，正如朱自清老先生说的一样：热闹是他们的，我什么也没有。到了晚上的时候，我搬了一个小板凳坐在门口，靠着墙。背部明显有些凉，但是我不愿意再去多穿些衣服，没有原因。我溶入了这浓浓夜色之中，没有人会认出我，而我却可以看清别人。我暗自窃喜，虽然有那麽一丁点悲哀。阴天让我找不到星星，这并不重要，因为还有月亮。我总是在自我安慰，没有星星点缀的天空总是不完美的。就像湖水没有了涟漪一样成了死水一样。没有星星的天空就像一块巨大的帷幕遮在我的眼前，不让我看清这黑暗的背后是什么。也许是包罗万象、内藏乾坤，仰或是一无所有。虽然黑暗中似乎有一种神秘撩人心动，可是小小的一个我又能做何？只能望尘莫及、叹为观止。月亮从一个地方游走到另一个地方，一切悄声无语。隆隆作响的随身听里传出的音乐穿越过空气不断涌进我的耳朵，有种不言而喻的亢奋。脚尖拍地的声音似乎与音乐的节奏不相匹配，很糟糕的样子。极其蛊惑的声音不断引诱我走进一个又一个那曾经的画面，心情糟糕透了。本以为过年时心情会好一些，世事难料，还不及平常时一颗平常的心态。风儿不断拂起我的衣角，有一种痛彻心扉的错觉。黑暗的尽头似乎有些泛白，黑暗中炮响的声音渐渐增多，空气中弥漫着浓重的火药味，十二点到了。二00三年过去了，一切都过去了，时间不再，青春不再，记忆不再。我想做些什么却又不知该如何，愣愣地看着墙上那块表，伤心欲绝。后记：其实在写这些的时候新年已过去好几天了，全然没有当时的感受，还是不知该写些什么。只是沉默、伤心。是的，一年又过去了，得到了什么，又失去了什么。

SomeHolidays are so much fun that they catch on outside of their culture. The most obvious exampleisprobably Christmas, which is celebrated around the world by people who aren’t even Christian. The Dragon Boat Festival is one of three majorChineseholidays, along with the Spring and Moon Festivals. Of the three, it is possibly the oldest, dating back to the Warring States Period in 227 B.C. The festival commemorates Qu Yuan, a minister in the service of the Chu Emperor. Despairing over corruption at court, Qu threw himself into a river. Townspeople jumped into their boats and tried in vain to save him. Then, hoping to distract hungry fish from his body, the people scattered rice on the water.

The races have certainly captured the imagination of people from all over the world. Every spring there are nearly 60 dragon boat races held outside of China in cities from Vancouver to Sydney, from Gdańsk, Poland to Cape Town, South Africa. Canada alone has nearly 50 dragon boat teams and Germany has nearly 30.
