今年除夕夜，我头顶星夜赶回了老家。站在老家的窗台上，我眺望着远方潾潾的月影下，寂寥的山路旁，家家户户星星点点的大红灯笼和彩色灯光点缀在原野上，美不胜收。突然，眼前升起朵朵礼花，缤纷绚烂地在空中绽开，如同朱砂落在白纸上，晕染成一片丹霞;又似孔雀展开了纤长的尾羽，碧绿的花火占满了大半个天空。我在心底感叹道：“只有家乡的烟花才有乡情乡味啊!”

过了年三十就是大年初一，我们开始正式庆祝新年啦。虽然去年的疫情骇人听闻，但今年春节时终于归于平静，大家终于可以坐在了一起享受浓浓的年味了，我心中有说不出的激动，感谢我们的祖国，也感谢每一个为国奉献的普通人。我的心里像有一只小鹿在乱撞，一会帮母亲数红包，一会帮父亲清点礼品，迫不及待地去奶奶家拜年。

菜已经上桌了，坐在我对面的奶奶眼睛眯成了一道月牙，笑眯眯地看着大家欢喜的样子，这些菜都是她的杰作，所以她也格外开心，鱼尾纹中漾出一丝亲切。我和父母以及伯伯们，都右手举起酒杯，站起身，将手臂伸直去碰杯。杯中琥珀色的液体在晃荡，在祝福声中，碰杯的声音也响得异常清脆。

源，水之本也。文化是一个国家、一个民族的灵魂，而文物则是文化奠基和传承的最好载体，中华文明能绵延至今，是先民们在顺应自然、参悟天地之间，将自己对自然的所思所想凝结成一件件器物，又经无数代人的努力，得以流传至今。中华文化之“源”，不是单一的，是多源头的，有史前红山人的“玉龙”，是中华龙文化文明的源泉之一;有新石器时代良渚文化的“玉琮”，良渚人以玉为配饰，以显示尊贵和财富，而如今的中国人，也对玉情有独钟;而到了商周时期，商人于龟甲刻辞，不仅为后人研究商代的社会历史文化和语言文字提供了珍贵资料，同时也能让后人一睹早期汉字的风采;而秦始皇时期，统一文字、货币、度量衡，废分封、行郡县，建立中央集权、创建三公九卿，为后世建立大一统国家打下了坚实基础;汉朝罢黜百家、独尊儒术，使儒家学说成为中国封建正统思想，一直延续了两千多年，对后世中国政治、经济、文化产生了深远的影响。而正是这些“源”，才造就了如此璀璨绵长的中华文明，为中华文明之河奔流千载、绵延万方提供不竭动力。

流，集多源之水。现实和历史都表明，一个抛弃或背叛自己历史文化的民族，不仅不可能发展起来，而且很可能上演一幕幕历史悲剧。而中华民族就是一个善于将多样民族文化融合并传承的民族，在中华文明的历史长河中，各民族共同开疆扩土、共同书写历史、共同创造灿烂文化、共同培育伟大精神。我们有喜爱自然主义装饰的古滇族，有生活在甘、青、川的古老民族羌和氐，还有在大理国时代融合了佛教文化并尊“金翅鸟”为护卫神鸟的北方游牧民族。文明因交流而多彩，因互鉴而丰富。海上、陆上丝绸之路的畅通也为中华文明同外部文明的融合创造了良好条件，我们采用中东钴蓝釉料制作出青花瓷、用阿拉伯的“铜胎掐丝珐琅”工艺制作“香薰球”，用源于古印度的“本生故事”描绘莫高窟壁画《鹿王本生故事图》，同时我们又将我们瓷器、茶叶、丝绸等出口出去，在络绎不绝的交流中获得发展创新的契机与动力。

以中华文明之“汇”，感文化自信之包容。

汇，拢万流于一处，成百川之渊薮。我们今天所走的中国特色社会主义道路，是从中华民族5000多年悠久文明的传承中走出来的。求木之长者，必固其根本;欲流之远者，必浚其源泉’。中华优秀传统文化是中华民族的精神命脉，是涵养社会主义核心价值观的重要源泉，也是我们在世界文化激荡中站稳脚跟的坚实根基。”中华民族凭借着以和为贵、海纳百川的包容特质、天下一家的大国气度，汲百家之长，取万物之精华，将各族儿女紧密团结在一起，秉持着天下为公之胸怀，凝聚万众一心之伟力，共筑万里山河，共护江山万里。

我们到了食品区，瞬间，我看得口水都要流出来了，两眼瞪得圆溜溜的，连忙伸手指了指奶片，高兴地说：“那个，那个，是我最喜欢吃的奶片!”爸爸妈妈买了一些奶片，我脸上乐开了花。接着，我们又继续搜寻展台上琳琅满目的商品。弟弟摇摇晃晃地跑到糖类区，五音不全地说：“我要买这个!”妈妈摇摇头，认真地说：“不能吃，你现在正在长牙，吃糖会蛀牙的!”

来到玩具区，我看中了一个芭比娃娃，盯了很长时间，忍不住对爸爸说，爸爸扫了一眼娃娃，说：“这个你以前买过了!”我撒起娇来：“要嘛，要嘛。”爸爸无可奈何，看着我直皱眉头，终于还是拗不过我，只好给我买了一个。我高兴地直跳，一路上都爱不释手地抱着娃娃。

There is nothing complicated about eating a proper diet. For good health,

every year. Our Chinese will celebrate it on that day. I think there are not too

many people can reject he temptation of it. I like this festival very much. I

have two reasons.

First of all, mid-autumn has the deep meaning of reunite. In china, people

regard mid-autumn day as very important, so no matter where they are, they will

come back to their family if there is a chance. They don’t like celebrate this

festival outside, which will make them feel lonely. Thus, they will go home by

all means. Luckily, the government also pays great attention to this traditional

festival. There are laws to make sure people have holidays in that special day.

In the other word, mid-autumn festival gives a chance for family get

together.

Secondly, every family will prepare a big meal in that day. All the food is

delicious. It is good to have a big meal. I think nobody will not interest in

delicious food. The mooncake is a necessary decoration for mid-autumn day. It

tastes good, too. It is the traditional for a long time. How pleased to enjoy

the glorious full moon with mooncake!

This is why I love mid-autumn festival so much. It is funny and happy

time.

The Great Wall of China

The Great Wall of China is called the "Ten thousand Ii Great Wall" in Chinese. In fact, it s more than 6 000 kilometres long. It winds its way from west to east, across deserts, over mountains, through valleys till at last it reaches the sea. It is one of the wonders of the world.

The Great Wall has a history of over twenty centuries. The first part of it was built during the Spring and Autumn Period. During the Warring States Period, more walls were put up to defend the borders of the different kingdoms. It was during the Qin Dynasty that the kingdom of Qin united the dif ferent parts into one empire. To keep the enemy out of his empire, Emperor Qin Shi Huang had all the walls joined up. Thus, the Great Wall came into being.

The Great Wall is wide enough at the top for five horses or ten men to walk side by side. Along the wall are watchtowers, where soldiers used to keep watch. Fires were lit on the the towers as a warning when the enemy came.

It was very difficult to build such a wall in the ancient days without any modern machines. All the work was done by hand. Thousands of men died and were buried under the wall they built. The Great Wall was made not only of stone and earth, but of the flesh and blood of millions of men.

Today the Great Wall has become a place of interest not only to the Chinese but to people from all over the world. Many of them have come to know the famous Chinese saying: "He who does not reach the Great Wall is not a true man."

中国的长城

【我眼中的中国年】

窗外的海风轻轻地吹着，又一年的春节没有在家里过，这个春节我来到了夏威夷的毛伊岛。度假酒店里的一切都那么温馨，厨房、客厅、卧室、门厅……布置的简约而美丽，一切东西都很齐全，就连烧烤架也布置上了，好像家啊，但是却少了家的感觉。妈妈和爸爸去商店买回了食物有牛排，烤鸡和包饺子用的东西之后便开始做年夜饭了，他们一边做还一边叨叨着让我们珍惜出来过年的机会。说实话出来旅游我真的很开心，但是说到过年那就是另外一码事了。在这篇文章里我不想用多么华丽的辞藻来描绘中国的年夜的礼花与鞭炮，我只想真真实实地把我对我的中国年的感受记录下来，而且对于那些礼花和鞭炮的样子与声响我早已记不大清了，只记着震耳的轰鸣，与我，对这些东西是惧怕。

在我心里，觉得过年真的不是在哪里过都可以的，一定要在家里和最亲的人聚在一起，这才是家，这才是真正的年，不论世界上的那一个角落，那一个多么繁华的城市，都不如在自己的家，在中国有家的感觉。我虽然在夏威夷享受着，但是我心里在过年的这一刻却非常牢固地记着，我是中国人，我是炎黄的子孙，我是华夏儿女，我出生在五千年文明孕育着的土地上，也许中国真的不如曾经进步的那么快了，但是我作为一名中国人，我很自豪，我为我是中国人而骄傲。

窗外的海风带来丝丝的凉意，我的又一个年过去了，在美丽如天堂的夏威夷，和看到审美疲劳的景色面前，我思念着在大洋彼岸的中国和传统的中国年。

My grandparents believed you were either honest or you werent. There was

no in between. They had a simple motto hanging on their living-room wall: "Life

is like a field of newly fallen snow; where I choose to walk every step will

show. "They didnt have to talk about it--they demonstratedthe motto by the way

they lived. They understood instinctively that integrity means having a personal

standard of morality and ethics that does not sell out to expediency and that is

not relative to the situation at hand. Integrity is an inner standard for

judging your behavior.Unfortunately, integrity is in short supply today--and

getting scarcer. But it is the real bottom line in every area of society.And it

is something we must demand of ourselves.

A good test for this value is to look at what I call the Integrity Trial,

which consists of three key principles: Stand firmly for your convictions in the

face of personal pressure.

When you know youre right, you cant back down. Always give others credit

that is rightfully theirs. Dont be afraid of those who might have a better idea

or who might even be smarter than you are. Be honest and open about who you

really are. People who lack genuine core values rely on external factors--their

looks or status---in order to feel good about themselves. Inevitably they will

do everything they can to preserve this facade,but they will do very little to

develop their inner value and personal growth.

So be yourself. Dont engage in a personal cover-up of areas that are

unpleasing in your life. When its tough, do it tough. In other words, face

reality and be adult in your responses to lifes challenges.

Self-respect and a clear conscience are powerful components of integrity

and are the basis for enriching your relationships with others.

Integrity means you do what you do because its right and not just

fashionable or politically correct. A life of principle, of not succumbing to

the seductive sirens of an easy morality,will always win the day. My

grandparents taught me that.

当清晨的第一抹阳光照射在苍茫的幽深古道上时，文明之灯渐渐升起，巍然不动，与太阳争辉。铭刻于灯上的中国书法，如盘龙般气势雄伟，让我内心震动，正如书法老师所说：“练书法，学做人。”

矫惊龙，灿似星。王羲之，洗砚池前的身影。昭昭赤心，日月可鉴。《兰亭序》里写下了行书第一。最爱王羲之的行书，如行云流水一般，流畅、舒缓。胸中大志尽情挥洒，心欲碎，泪横流。在字体中，脱然而出的是超然的气度。是一代大家的胸怀和底蕴。岁月悄悄流走，逝去了舒曼的纸张的柔软，逝去了墨迹的脱俗。但是每次见到书圣的大作，胸中便涌起一阵阵感恩之情。是他—叫我懂得什么叫气质，是来自内心对文化的捍卫，是永不枯竭铸于灵魂的高尚。

稳健似刚，沉重如金。记得我最先学的就是颜真卿的《多宝塔牌》，耳旁回响着老师的话。“颜真卿的字似大将一般，走起来横平竖直，大气磅礴。”颜真卿的大字让我感受到平静，每一笔起笔精到埋锋而下，不留一丝尖锐。每一笔都富有生机，提顿之间尽显沧桑的阅历。我不禁想起李白的名句“君不见黄河之水天上来，奔流到海不复还”；“君不见高堂明镜悲白发，朝如青丝暮成雪”。从中，我懂得了沉着冷静，懂得了要志存高远，胸怀天下。我明白了认认真真做人，堂堂正正做事。

清秀明丽，委婉挺拔。欧阳询的字体是女孩子们的首选，仿佛在抒写易安居士一样的诗词，欧阳询的笔锋十分独到，柔中带刚，刚中见柔，刚柔并济。字体中洋溢着青春的活力与清爽，豪放与热情一览无余。我便从中学会了宽容，学会了展现自己的活力。我学会谦逊，懂得感恩，让欧阳询的举手投足倒映于我心中。

热爱书法，在中国最灿烂文化—书法的影响下，我融入了社会，在灵魂中播下了中华文明的种子。

在中国书法的影响下，我已渐渐长大。宽容、仁爱、无私、冷静，一天天与我相融一体……

每个人长大后都有一个职业，我想成为一名警察。

我想成为一名警察，警察是为人民服务的，在洪水面前神机妙算救助被困的群众，在雪灾面前挺身而出开辟群众前进的道路。

我想成为一名警察，但是，成为一名警察不容易，做警察更不容易。我舅舅就是一名警察，他每天早出晚归，忙的时候往家里打个电话的空儿都没有，回家以后也是倒头就睡。

我想成为一名警察，这要我从小就树立一种良好的习惯，比如，上课时要专心致志地听讲，认真完成老师布置的每一项作业，积极参加各种有利于自身学习、成长的活动，如果犯了错误要及时改正。

成为警察首先要动作灵敏，这一点我就很符合。为了实现这个目标，我每天早晨6：30起床，然后开始跑步，不管刮风下雨，我都要坚持，争取在年级比赛中拿个前几名。我还经常和爸爸一起去打乒乓球、羽毛球……等各种增强体育锻炼的活动。

我多想成为一名警察呀，这个想法一直萦绕于心。继续努力奋斗吧，我暗想。在不久的将来，我一定能成为一名优秀的为人民服务的警察!

With the development of todays technology, education becomes more

important than before because people need to learn more to adapt the

society.Education enables people to understand the world better and have a good

job in the futrue.Moreover ,it also hao an impact on peoples behavior.

First of all, education improves peoples learning ability that makes them

know more about the world.Most things taught in schools are the basic skills or

means to further understsnding of our society .Only by learning these,can human

have an opportunity to study more and know more about the society .Secondly,

opportunities are often given to someone who is good educated .Employers tend to

believe that people have high education are intelligent and they can manage

their jod and adapt the working environment quickly.That is why the educated

people always get a good job. Thirdly, the more people learn the more modest and

polite they act.Learned people think that they are not good enough ,so they show

a big patience to learn from everything .They often try to figure out the

solution of problems by things they meet or learn.

In sum,education can turn people out with better learning skills,job

offering and good behavior,so I think education is important to people to

fulfill their goals and live a easy life .

The usage of Internet becomes one of the most controversial topics in the

society. As a college student, I believe Internet is beneficial to me more than

the way it harms me. There are many advantages for using Internet.

First, I can best use my time to find information online instead of going

to different libraries. Also, the information can be dated back in decades ago.

It is very helpful to use those information as reference and historical proof.

In the library, it is hard to find so much "old" information. Another advantage

to use Internet is that I can stay home and have a lecture online. It is much

more convenience to me because I can stay warm to have class in the winter time

instead of spending two hours on the bus and physically attend class. In

addition, Internet provides me a better way to communicate with my friends and

professors. I can get response from my professor in a few minutes instead of

waiting outside of his door for hours. Some of my friends are living in a

foreign countries, I can simply just drop him an email whenever I can and get a

message from him very quick. It is much better than waiting for letters. Also,

the email will not lose while the letter might be losing in the process of

delivery.

However, there are also disadvantage of using Internet. For example, I

might spend too much time on the Internet to concentrate on my study. Also,

there is a chance that I am cheated because of the Internet purchasing. Last,

Internet has lots of information, both helpful and harmful. There might be too

much tempatation that I will access some of the harmful information I can on the

Internet.

Even though the usage of Internet has both positive and negative effect to

me, I still consider Internet is a symbol of technology development. I believe I

can use the Internet very well as long as I know how to control myself.
