记忆中的“年味”

在我最早的记忆里，我便是随着爷爷奶奶生活，那时候家庭条件不好，父母在我很小的时候，就外出务工了，只有过年的时候才回来，而过年就成了我最期待的事儿。

那时候家里唯一的通讯设备，就是一部座机，父母会偶尔会打来电话，问我学习怎么样，有没有顽皮，家里天气怎么样……虽然每次都是“老一套”，但最简单的问候往往代表了最真挚的情感。那时候的我学会了“听声辨人”，一听到熟悉的声音，我就给奶奶说，“奶奶，我妈来电话了!”奶奶每次都说，“你先接啊!”

对于很多农村孩子来说，能够和父母团聚，也只能在春节实现了。有些年春节，父母赶火车半夜才到家，我和爷爷奶奶就一直等。父母快到的时候，一般都会打来电话，让我去帮忙拿行李。大包小包的行李里面有买给我们的新衣服，还有很多吃的，有糖果、桃片、蛋黄派等，这些，都是农村孩子平时都不怎么吃得到的。那时候平常赶集，奶奶买得最多的就是夹心饼干，怕我偷吃，每次奶奶都会把吃的放得很高，放在柜子上的一个铁盆里，而我小时候嘴馋得厉害，总会搬来一条板凳，站在板凳上，一踮脚，就能拿到。

那时候，家里条件不好，很多时候外面下暴雨，屋里总会“下小雨”，早上我还没睡醒，爷爷奶奶就起床拿盆、桶接漏进来的水。每逢过年的时候，父母都会给家里来一次大扫除、大整修，把屋里收拾得很干净、很整洁，把漏雨的地方补好，再给家门外贴上春联，挂上灯笼，让整个家里都“喜庆”了起来，而我每次也会加入到大扫除的队伍中，扫扫地、倒倒垃圾，勤快得很。

那时候，家里还是烧柴火，过年的时候，父母都会把放在另一个屋子里的又长又粗的木头搬出来，劈成一截截的短而细的木头，堆起来，用于平时烧火煮饭。等把屋里的东西收拾得差不多的时候，父母就会带我们去逛街，看看衣服鞋子，买点零食小吃，买点鞭炮，过年的气氛越来越浓。

除夕夜，一家人坐到电视面前看春晚，吃着瓜子花生，聊聊家长里短，待12点，爸爸就去放买来的鞭炮，“噼里啪啦”，完毕，新的一年开始啦。正月初一，我们总会穿上新衣服，荷包里揣点瓜子糖果，去马路上走走，到附近去看看，遇到熟人就打招呼聊天，大家都是笑脸相迎，让整个春节都温暖了起来。

相聚的时间总是很短暂，感觉还没说上几句话，还没一起吃过几顿饭，父母就收拾行李，准备外出务工了。每到这时候，不舍的感觉越来越浓烈，虽然从小经历了很多次离别，本以为会习惯，但是每一次，都如初次分离一样，多的是不舍，多的是难受。

因为父母不常在身边，所以在父母准备外出前，都会对我念叨几句，希望我好好学习，多帮家里干点力所能及的事情，希望我不要调皮，要懂事一点，要乖一点……

小时候，总盼望着过年，长大后，虽然感觉过年的气氛淡了点，但家人身体安康就是最好的过年礼物。

The Dragon Boat Festival is a lunar (阴历)holiday, occurring (存正)on the fifth

Festival is celebrated by boat races (龙舟赛) in the shape of dragons. Competing

teams (竞争团队) row their boats forward to a drumbeat (击古)racing to reach the

finish end first.

The boat races during the Dragon Boat Festival are traditional customs

(传统习俗)to attempts to (试图)rescue (搭救) the patriotic poet (爱国诗人)Chu Yuan. Chu Yuan

drowned (溺死) on the fifth day of the fifth lunar month in 277 B.C. Chinese

citizens now throw bamboo leaves (竹叶) filled with cooked rice into the

water.

Therefore the fish could eat the rice rather than the hero poet. This later

on turned into the custom of eating tzungtzu and rice dumplings(棕子).

The celebrations is a time for protection (防护) from evil (邪恶) and disease

(疾病) for the rest of the year. It is done so by different practices such as

hanging healthy herbs on the front door, drinking nutritious concoctions (营养品),

and displaying (展示) portraits (画像) of evils nemesis(邪恶报应), Chung Kuei. If one

manages to (成功做...) stand (直立)an egg on its end at exactly 12:00 noon, the

following year will be a lucky one.

We can see such signs as “No Smoking” in some public places, which is a

kind of measure taken to ban smoking in public places. However, concerning about

this measures, different people hold divergent opinions. The smokers protest

against that it is a kind of action to deprive of their free right, while the

non-smokers are in favor of banning smoking in public places.

In my opinion, I am inclined to support the latter one—smoking should be

banned in public places. There are reasons accounting for my point. For one

thing, people will be harmed by the second-hand smoking if someone smokes in

public places, especially the infants and children. For another, banning smoking

in public places is also beneficial to the smokers. If they are banned to smoke

in public places, they will restrain themselves from smoking and smoke less. In

the meantime, it is a contribution to reduce the air pollution.

Therefore, I advocate that smoking in public places should be banned so

that we can breathe the fresh air and suffer less from the second-hand smoking.

在比赛中捧回的一个又一个奖杯，大大增加了苏炳添的自信心，也让他更执著于短跑这条道路。

但是，教练说苏炳并添没有短跑运动员的天赋。

他个子只有172cm，短跑运动员最佳身高是180cm—195cm，当年中国另一飞人刘翔身高在189cm，短跑项目中，个子矮要失去许多先天优势。

再加上我国短跑事业相比其它国家而言，起步要晚一些，选择短跑作为终身事业的运动员少之又少，国际短跑赛事上我们从来没有进入过决赛。

年轻气盛的苏炳添偏偏不信这个邪，他暗暗下定决心，一定要在短跑运动上创造出奇迹，让外国人看看我们的实力。

为了这个理想，苏炳添想去专业的体校进行学习和训练，但他去了几家体校，都因为他个子矮、年龄大被婉拒，现实将他打回原型。

刘翔从七岁就开始进行专业训练，而想入体校的苏炳添，这时已经15岁了。

I live with my father and mother in a very big house in dongguan. my parents are both very busy. they leave for work very early in the morning and don’t return home until late in the evening.

Our Librar is a busy place.It is open every day from8:00--12:00 in the

morning and from 1:30--5:30 in the after-noon,except on Sundays.

The library contains a large variety of books. in it you will find both

literary and scientific and technical books in Chinese and in foreign

languages.In this building too,are reading-rooms with newspapers and

magazines.Perhaps English books account for over a half of those in foreign

lanuages.

We often go there to look for books which we want to borrow or to read

articles which we like to consult.Our library provides all useful reading matter

and reference materials according to our needs.Although we do not subscribe to

any magazines or newspapers,we are well informed about the recent developments

and new trends in the world as well as in our country.The library plays an

important role in our college life.

敦煌莫高窟具有洞窟735个，壁画4.5万平方米，泥质彩塑2415尊。为世界现存规模最大，内容最丰富的佛教艺术地。坐落于河西西端的敦煌，建于秦天王苻坚时期，经历了北，隋，唐，西夏，元朝等历代的扩大兴建，规模宏大。与山西大同云石窟，河南洛阳石窟，甘肃水麦积山石窟，合称中国四大石窟。

占地面积约是108个篮球场那么大，平均海拔约1334米。

内附有壁画，其中音乐主题的洞窟就有200多个，绘有多种乐器，绘有不同类型的乐队共500组，各类乐器40余种，共4500多件。壁画中也会有人物画，山水画，装饰画等多种图案，这些图案都展现了，近千年来中国古代音乐史发展变化，提供了珍贵的财物。其中一些洞窟，存了中国宋代以前即10世纪内容丰富的壁画，有些壁画都是世界各国博物馆藏品从未见过的。

在敦煌莫高窟中较为著名的为莫高窟第96窟——九层楼。窟外的红色木构窟檐高达45米，靠山崖而建。从远处看，就像是一座雄伟的九层楼阁，俗称九层楼，他是莫高窟最大的建筑物，也是莫高窟的标志性建筑。第96窟那有一尊巨型弥勒佛像，高35.5米，是敦煌石窟中最大的佛像。在唐朝时称为“北大像”。

because they can use their time more efficiently.

Also, internet is another useful tool for us today. The development of

internet brings a great impact toward the society. Instead of going to library

and fliping all the books to figure out some information, we can just simply use

a mouse and click on the website to do research. The internet leads us to a

place where we can find unlimited information and resources. It makes our life

much easier and better.

The last technology is cellphone. Nowadays, many people have a cellphone.

But it just appears on the market for about 10 years. It is very convenience to

the users because we can talk to anyone we want with a phone as small as a

wallet. Also, we can communicate with others by making a phone call instead of

sending letters. It is very fast and useful way to communicate.

In conclusion, I believe the development of technology brings significant

impact to our life. It is very helpful to us and I believe technology will keep

improving in future.

每天上学、放学时，在十字路口，我常常看见交通警察在那里指挥交通，他们穿戴整齐，动作整齐划一，很有规律，看上去很潇洒。有了他们的指挥，道路畅通无阻，交通井然有序。当他们看见有小孩独自过马路时，就上前引导，看见年老体弱和行动不便的人过马路，就主动搀扶他们。偶尔遇到闯红灯、不守交通规则的人，他们会上前“啪”地先敬个礼，再对他进行耐心的说服教育，我想，这些人被警察叔叔说得心服口服了，以后再也不会违反交通规则了吧。

不管严寒酷暑、风霜雨雪，他们都坚守岗位，不管夏天的太阳晒黑了皮肤，冬天的寒风吹裂了嘴唇，他们都一丝不苟地执行着任务。他们就是我们城市街头一道靓丽的风景线。有时警察叔叔还会到学校来，给我们讲一些交通安全知识，正因为有了他们，才使我们能高高兴兴上学(班)，平平安安回家。这就是我心中的交通警察形象。

当群众的家里发生了什么事，或在路上遇到坏人坏事，只要拨打110，不论白天黑夜，警察都会立即驾着警车风驰电掣般地赶到，尽快帮我们解决事情，他们的行动真迅速啊。我想他们一定有很强的责任心，把保护人民的生命和财产安全作为自己的职责。为了社会的安定和谐，他们付出了很多很多，有时为了擒拿歹徒，殊死搏斗中甚至牺牲自己的生命，这就是我心中的人民警察形象。

我心中的人民警察形象，是高大、勇猛的，他们不但在日常维持公共秩序，还时刻保护着我们，不断与邪恶势力展开英勇的斗争，我心中的人民警察形象，就是正义的象征。
