My son Joey was born with club feet. The doctors assured us that with treatment he would be able to walk normally — but would never run very well. 我见过有许许多多的小动物，有小猫、小狗、小鸡、小鸭、小白兔等。它们都比较可爱，但我还是比较喜欢原来我家的那只小狗了，这也许是我曾经饲养过吧！

记得那还是我上幼儿园大班的时候，爸爸妈妈给我买了这么一只小狗，它除了头部和嘴巴是黑色的以外，满身都是灰褐色，厚厚的皮毛就好像一个毛线球似的；脚虽比较短，走起路来却跑得飞快；它的眼睛蓝蓝的，在阳光下闪闪发光，好像两颗珍珠；你别看它小，牙齿可锋利着啦，只要你随便扔给它一块骨头，他都能给它咬碎；寸长的尾巴，摇起来可快啦！看着那可爱劲，煞是喜欢。根据它的头部特征，我给他起了个名字——阿黑。

阿黑每天早晨就像闹钟一样准时叫我起床。无论是中午或者晚上，只要我一回到家，还没进门，它总是摇头摆尾，“汪”、“汪”的叫个不停，出来迎接我时，一会儿咬我的小手，一会儿咬我的衣角，一会儿亲我的小脸，总之，高兴得不得了。而我呢，反正没有什么事情可做，也乐于给它一起玩耍。这样，渐渐地我们成了好朋友。

有一星期天早晨，我带它到楼下玩捉迷藏。先是它找我，可无论我躲在花丛中、楼脚的转角处、或者拿一些东西遮挡着，它都能给我找着。可是，当我找它的时候，却怎么也找不到，急得我满头大汗，最后，我只好用我们的特有暗号——吹口哨，叫它出来。就这样，我们一直玩到中午，如果不是妈妈下楼来叫我们吃饭，还不知道玩到什么时候呢。

渐渐地，我该上学了，爸爸、妈妈怕影响我的学习成绩，就在我刚上学没几天把它送人了。我回到家，发现没了阿黑，我哭着、嚷着要他们给我找回来，爸爸、妈妈说：“送了人的东西或者物体是不能随便要回来的！……”。最终，他们犟不过我，就给我买回小猫、小鸡、小鸭、小白兔等小动物，可我一点都不喜欢，我很想念我的小狗阿黑。
