刺猬每年四月开始婚配生育。每年产1—2胎，每胎3—4只。由母乳喂养3—4周，随后，母亲教它们如何找食物。但是，90%的小刺猬都活不过一年。

刺猬是国家二级保护动物，所以我们要珍惜它们，不能捕捉虐待它们。
