首先，令我感觉最舒畅的就是美国的道路，宽敞的道路上名车飞驰，美国很少有自行车，所以没有为自行车特别设立的车道，也许是这个原因，美国的街道显得特别宽敞、干净。记得有一次在美国过马路，那是一条没有红绿灯的马路，我习惯性的站在路边，可从远处行来的车看到我都停了下来，原来是在等我过马路。这就是这里的风尚，永远是车等人，而不是人等车。在这里，没有堵车，没有吵闹的鸣笛声，有的只是耐心与宽容。

其次，是美国人家的温馨，在盐湖城的几天我们住在一户美国人家，户主是位爷爷，家里一共有8个人，爷爷的妻子、爷爷的女儿和她的5个小外孙。爷爷的脸上总是带有慈祥的笑容，别看他已经子孙满堂，可身体还十分的健壮，记得在搬进他家的那天，我的行礼箱很重，我用尽全力也只能提起了一点，而他一手一个行礼箱，轻轻松松就提进了门，这让我十分感叹美国老人健康的生活状态。而最令我惊讶的不只是这，在第一天我们互相介绍自己时，他们一家为我们演唱了一首歌，小外孙们是男高音，爷爷是男低音，小孙女是女高音，奶奶是女低音，妈妈充当钢琴配乐。这是多么和谐的一幅画面，祖孙三代在一起合作出美妙的音乐，美国的艺术教育让我们这些因合唱出国交流的学习者自叹不如，他们所唱出的感觉是温馨的，让我这个外国人也情不自禁地想要融入他们的家庭。在这里，没有争吵，没有隔阂，有的只是温暖。

最后，是美国的天气，虽然从地图上看，洛杉矶与上海的纬度差不多，同样是冬季，可在上海棉衣加外套也没觉得暖和，而我们在洛杉矶最多也只穿两件。特别是在海拔很高盐湖城，零下7度的地方，却由于环境干燥而不显寒冷，再加上暖气设备很先进，外面下着大雪，人们在家短衣短裤，有一次爷爷出门甚至只穿了一件短袖。在这里，没有寒冷，没有拘束，有的只是舒适。

美国的迷人之处还有许多，可惜还没有体验够，我已经踏上了回家的路。

去美国之前，我做了一些功课，上网浏览了美国的历史和地理以及各种风土人情，所有的信息都告诉我：这是一个世界上最强大、最民主的国家。怀揣着一颗好奇心，我来到了这个大洋彼岸的陌生国度。让我来看看吧，美国，你到底什么样?

美国人做事非常认真和细致。比如你到一家小店去买纪念品，无论你有多么赶时间，用多么焦虑的眼神急迫地看着他，做怎样夸张的表情，甚至忍不住地催促他，他们总是微笑，总是一丝不苟地将你买的纪念品轻手轻脚地放进盒子里，又把盒子包装好，然后再放进袋子里，小心翼翼地递给你，并且再送你一个最甜美、友好、温和的笑容。这一系列的举动让你不得不连声地对他说：“Thank you!”也让你感慨美国人在紧张的环境中所表现出来的那种从容不迫、不紧不慢和对所有顾客的彬彬有礼。

可事实上，大家知道的，美国人一点也不拘束，他们非常热情和开放。我们在美国遇见的一个小男生就这样，他不仅会伸手摸你的头发、拍你的肩膀、夸你很棒，让你充满自信，更让人难以想象的是，他还会抱起你，让我们含蓄的中国人尴尬不已却又不好意思推却。他们十分善于鼓励别人，课堂上，只要你回答出了一个问题，他们就会不停地夸你：“Good job!”在路上，如果你不小心摔了一跤，他们就会跑过来关心地询问：“Are you OK?”让你心里暖暖的，很感动。

同时，美国的家庭非常民主。在中国，基本上家里面的事情都是由家长说了算，而孩子们却没有“说话的份”。这次的“Homestay”让我认识到了美国家庭的民主性，孩子们在家里的权力和家长是一样大的，孩子们可以有各项选择权。在我们的寄宿家庭里，他们家的小女孩Karmila很可爱，家人都很宠爱她，但是她却没有我想象中的娇气，做事仔细认真，并且总是把自己打理得井井有条。吃饭时，当她妈妈问她要一些什么吃的时，她很有个性地告诉她妈妈，自己不想吃东西，便回到客厅看电视去了。小女孩的奶奶要给她吃水果，但是她也拒绝了。这要是在中国，可能家长就会过来管你，问你一大堆为什么。所以这就是美国孩子的独立自主能力和美国家庭的民主特色，他们对孩子十分放松，不去约束，让孩子们独自一人在世界上闯出一片属于自己的天地!

细细说来，美国人的特点还有很多很多，自由、民主、开放、细致，这些早已成为这个国家的标签，应该也是它能够成为“世界老大”的原因吧!我眼中的美国，值得我们用心去体会和琢磨…

时间过得真快啊，一眨眼就在美国待了一个半月了。快开学了，我们的美国之旅也该结束了。在离开它之前，我对它又重新认识了一遍，有很多感触，说出来与大家分享。

首先是美国人。

美国人很友好、礼貌，在小区里别人都会主动和你打招呼;他们看完电影、表演、比赛都会自动起身长时间鼓掌，表示对表演者的尊敬和礼貌;就算你被交警罚款的时候，交警也是很礼貌的，根本不会有“仗势欺人”的感觉;那次我们在去美国大瀑布的途中，一高兴走错了路，只好向两位正在骑单车的美国人询问，他们十分热情，很快停下车，友好地告诉我们正确的路，还告诉我们哪里可以调头、哪里可以转弯这些细节，并祝我们“have a good day”。

美国人守规则，并且十分自觉，他们自觉排队，哪怕你有事离开了，别人都会帮你留着位置。如果你不守规矩，其他人会给你投来异样的眼光。美国人对交通规则也十分遵守，有时候到了几乎死板的程度，小区有停车标志的，就算当时没人，他们也停在那看一会才走，在他们眼里，人是最重要的，就算是遇到闯红灯的行人，汽车也会主动停下来。不过不要以为你就可以随便闯红灯，要是汽车不小心把你撞死了，你还要赔偿人家汽车的损耗，如果你幸运的没事，被交警叔叔看到了也会罚你的款。

美国人讲信用，像美国的商店，交钱都是自己动手的。美国的快餐店饮料啥的也都是自己加的(可能请人很贵)，从没有人不交钱就把东西拿走，也没有人说用自己的瓶子去装快餐店的饮料，大家都很诚实。而且一旦你有不诚实的污点，以后找工作、买房子都会很困难。

美国人敬业，我们去佛罗里达州迪斯尼的时候，人家导游姐姐在船上站一天，口中不停念叨着解说词，还要努力让自己精神抖擞，让游客感觉到身临其境，但毫无怨言，既专业也敬业。要是换了我站在那里，还不得累死、烦死!

美国人很爱护环境，他们不吐痰、不乱扔垃圾，甚至做到了把垃圾捡起来、义务打扫，更难得可贵的是，美国人垃圾分类明确，可回收的、可分解的、不可回收的、生活垃圾、厨房垃圾等等，真正做到了珠海市名言——美丽由心生，垃圾不乱扔!但我没看到他们成天宣传，好像从小就有这个习惯。美国政府规定：草自己死了不要紧，你家的草要是太长了，就要被罚款，就是严重的影响了市容市貌!这确实有点令人难以理解——自己买的草长长了也有罪啊!

在美国人看来，劳动是快乐的，特别是通过自己的双手把自己的家园打造成人间仙境的时候，美国人就会欣喜若狂，真正体会到“自己动手，丰衣足食”的快乐。他们经常自己动手，种花、种树、浇水、建造阳台、割草等等。像我们邻居一家，天天拎俩花盆，到周末还全家出动，佩服!真是佩服!

美国人的家庭观念都相当强，就算是玩，也要一家人在一起!我们去迪士尼，工作人员都要首先问你多少人一起，他们安排的原则是，必须要让一个家庭坐在一起。比如：一辆过山车一排可坐3人，那我们一家四口咋办呢?以中国人的眼光看，肯定是坐满一排，再多坐一个座位，美国人则不然——一定要前排俩，后排俩，还不能是一排在最前面，一排在最后面，两排必须相邻!有时候眼看不能在一起了，排队的美国人会主动让后面的人先玩，宁可多等十分钟，也不分开。

美国人不喜欢串门(开patty、万圣节除外)!其实我觉得主要原因可能是因为美国人都住在别墅里，自己搞自家的事儿(美国人都会在自己家草坪上整点游泳池、蹦蹦床、滑滑梯之类什么的)，也没有中国过春节拜年这样的习俗，很少跟别人打交道，所以美国人也都很独立。

美国人生活质量高。大家一定要有心理准备，不要太过于激动：美国人一个星期，一般都是星期一到五工作，星期六开着部小吉普，后面拖着游艇、自行车，去游艇俱乐部玩一天，顺便骑一下山地自行车，再有钱一点的呢，就会开着一辆房车，后面冰箱厕所厨房一应俱全，带着一家人，想去哪里就去哪里，怎一个“爽”字了得?

美国人浪费十分严重。美国人浇花，都是用自动喷头，“嗒嗒嗒”就这样来回地射水，像不用钱似的;纸就更别提了，公共场所，特别是厕所里的纸大量供应，美国人洗完手都是把纸一下子拉出很多来，随便一擦，也不管手擦干了没有就把纸丢掉，估计在美国人看来，擦手只是形式;一个人，开一部老大的车，完全是浪费汽油;美国家庭，一般是中央空调，一打开，整个屋子都大放冷气，连仓库、厕所都有冷气出来;晚上房子周围开着灯，也不知道给谁看的，据说是为了让主人自己看着觉得好看，晕!真是忒浪费了，中国家庭简直无法想象!

美国人与环境和谐相处。美国的森林保护得很好，到处可见原始的森林。美国的动物那更是不怕人，松鼠敢跟你抢花生吃，鹅敢在你眼皮子底下生蛋孵蛋，美国为什么怕中国人签证来到美国后不回去，估计就是因为怕中国人把公园里的鹅、鸭、鸽子全部抓来宰了吃了……

美国的胖人很多，美国人肥胖主要是因为懒，美国吃的东西大部分都是做好的、现成的，只用在微波炉里一热就OK了，鱼连骨头都帮你扔了，就是肉，再加上美国的食品都是高热量的，你看咋办?正因为肥胖人口还在呈上升趋势，所以美国现在也开始重视运动了。

美国人付钱都是刷卡的，很少人用现金，哪怕报亭都可以刷卡，不过现在经济不景气，次贷危机啊!搞不好哪家银行倒闭了就惨了，所以现在收现金的逐渐增多，不少地方用现金还可以便宜一点(有严重地逃税嫌疑)……

说了这么多美国人的特点，我们来看看美国的特点。

美国是小孩子的天堂，这真是一点儿也不错。在美国，无论你是谁，都不能随便超校车，更不能在学校地段开快车，哪怕不是放学时间!美国还有专门规定，12岁以下的小孩子是不能被一个人留在家的，否则可以拨打911求助，警察叔叔很快就会来，还要罚父母的款。估计要是我们家住在美国，我爸我妈就要经常光顾警察局了。而且还不能体罚孩子(中国有句俗话：棍棒出孝子)，汽车上还有专门为儿童设计的安全座椅，如果不绑，也是要被罚的;他们对小孩子的教育以表扬为主，尽量发现小孩的优点，而不是老挑毛病。

美国还是残疾人的天堂。在美国，估计正常人都会羡慕残疾人，因为美国对残疾人那是相当的照顾：最好的停车位、一按便开的门、不用排队(就连家属也沾光)。我老奇怪，为什么我们国内很少看到，而美国的游乐场里那么多残疾人呢?爸爸说，其实每个国家的残疾人应该都多，只是在中国，我们的残疾人出来都不方便，所以就没出来，看起来显得少而已。当然，我觉得美国人喜欢运动，受伤变残疾的机会多可能也是其中的原因之一，但确实，大家都尽量给他们方便，让他们不那么自卑。

美国的生活费很便宜，一盒牛奶(这盒挺大，可以装好几升)才几块钱，一双名牌鞋才20块，至于袜子更是便宜，老爸一下子出手不凡，买的袜子足足装满了半旅游箱!不过美国的人工可贵了，所以除了食品以外，基本上都是从外面进口的，曾发现我一夏令营同学浑身上下从帽子到鞋子全部是“made in China”!

现在的美国人，都是用地图出行，把精确到门牌号的起点终点一输入，就会自动显示最快捷的路线，而且很少有错，虽然中国也有这样的服务，但中国道路的变数很大也很乱，所以没有美国实用。美国的停车场很大，有些还是三层的，想咋停咱就咋停，不必要为停车位不足而发愁。美国沿途的加油站也多，加油站旁边都有快餐店，那里有很多关于这个城市的介绍书，完全免费!更先进的是在机场，连登机牌都可以自己办的，真的是不来不知道，一来吓一跳!

美国的高速公路网发达，乡镇农村，四通八达!再加上美国几乎人人有车，是“生活在汽车上的国家”，所以几乎是想去哪里就去哪里，不过可惜的是美国的高速公路网虽然发达实用而不漂亮，路也不咋地，至于这么有钱的美国为啥要把高速公路修成这个鬼样子，稍后会有介绍……敬请期待!

美国无论城市或是乡村，人均居住面积都十分大，一家人就占一个大别墅，实在是有钱人的作风。美国的居住区和商业区、工业区都是分开的，这样既避免了化工厂开在家门口，也不会有人在你旁边唱卡拉OK，好处自然是显而易见。不过有利就有弊，如果晚上你肚子饿了想出去吃点夜宵，就又要开个车出去了。虽然三区分开这样的设计既不会有环境污染，也不会感觉吵闹，但是似乎麻烦了一点，没那么方便。买根黄瓜都要开部车，估计汽油钱都比这黄瓜贵，这个……实在是太奢侈了……

美国的警察效率比较高，至少同中国比起来，我是这样觉得的，那一次我们在加油站丢失了钱包，找到警察后警察很快就联系上了那里的负责人，并找到了钱包，还向我们祝贺。美国的交警也不会在道路上安装摄像头，他们习惯于“现犯现抓”，如果你违反交通规则，警车就会跟在你后面，也不鸣警笛，直到你自己“醒悟”，把车停到路边，警察才会出来跟你说话，这时候你不能出车门，因为怕你行贿，如果你强行逃跑的话，警察就会鸣笛，并奋起直追，追不到则已，追到了双倍处罚!警察下罚单的过程我们已经提到了，是很有礼貌的，所以美国的警察是很受人尊敬和信任的，一身警服带着个牛仔帽，还有点西部牛仔的感觉。

美国的税不是一般的高，而且每个地方的税率都不一样，税款也不是商家出的，是你给了商店钱以后，还要给政府税款，这招太狠了，想怎么逃税都不行!因为这就避免了商家逃税，其次商家也不会助你逃税——你叫不交税和他没关系……不过政府也很慎用纳税人的钱，这就是为什么那高速公路修得跟个省道似的(其实本来就叫“州际公路”)，无论那高速公路修得再差，反正能开就行，管他呢!而美国的市政设施也不豪华，将大多数税款用于兴建图书馆、体育设施和政府救济，就凭这一点就比只搞形象工程的中国好!

下面一个话题请大家不要在吃饭的时间看，有可能影响食欲。据我所知，美国的厕所比中国的好。首先，无论是美国的哪一个厕所，都十分干净，至少没有异味，也不至于特别脏，更不像中国，好的厕所那是好的不得了，东北山区那些厕所呢，门口就已经蚊虫到处飞，里面我就不形容描述了，据说老爸有在厕所门口被臭晕过去的记录，这是事实，证明了中国的厕所实在令人不敢恭维。我不要求每个厕所都向我们参观的展览一样——全黄金制作，也不要求每个厕所都是六星级酒店那种，只要很正常就可以了，美国的厕所应该说都达到了这种要求，有过之而无不及!

终于脱离了tolite这个话题，我们回过头来讲景点门票的事儿，美国景点的门票都很大众化、平民化，也很便宜，不像中国，基本上十，动不动上百，连个破公园都要忽悠你几块钱，世界三大瀑布之一——美国大瀑布门票是0元，加上船票也就七块五，这比什么黄果树瀑布便宜多了……并且美国的购物点都有自己的特色，是别的地儿买不到的，连华盛顿加油站卖的T-shirt都印有“我爱华盛顿”，总说明了到此一游嘛，不似中国的购物点，简直是纯粹地坑人，以高超的忽悠技术欺骗善良的游客……

说完购物点，我们讲讲超市，美国的超市就那几家，JCpenny、meijer等等，牌子虽少但是都是全国连锁，而且这些超市奇大，一间很普通的超市就可以媲美整个珠海免税商场!品牌少而分店多，地方大而东西齐，这大概就是美国的超市吧!

最后，我们来说说教育问题。十年树木，百年树人。美国重视教育，教育方式以表扬为主，哎呀，怪不得这么多老师说我英文好，原来只是为了鼓励我啊!美国的教育强调纪律性，注重步伐统一，连上厕所也不能一个人去，必须要两个人以上!据说，男孩子的上学年龄比女孩子要晚，因为学校有意锻炼男孩子的领导能力，不管方法好坏，我是不太赞同的，男女平等嘛!

对于美国，我可以用“为富不仁”和“奸”来形容。若要用人来比拟，我便毫不拣择的说到“曹操”。

要说曹操，也是满腹经文，才高八斗，可就是因他“挟天子而令诸侯”为自己留下了千古骂名。

当下无人不羡慕美国的富饶，做梦都想成为美国人的人不在少数。但是你可知道美国有多么的卑贱。若想知道，请听我一一道来。

美国每年都要发表所谓中国怎么怎么不尊重人权的文章中国是否尊重人权，想必诸位都耳闻目睹，不必多说。而美国就尊重人权吗?不说对其他国家，首先说他们看不起黑人，二则是在利比亚战争爆发时，美国人等不到自己的国家来救自己于水火之中，而当祖国的渡船迟迟到来时，又向自己伸出“要钱的手”。这是你们的人权，你们有资格说别人吗?

今年马伦访华备受关注。为了回敬陈炳德访美时受到的款待，马伦成了世界上第一个参观中国“二炮”的人。在华期间他曾多次表示会理解中国政府，适当对台售武。可是刚一回国就来一百八十度掉头。今年对台军售武非但没减，还有所增减。这到底是中国制造紧张还是美国在搅局。“用自己国家的法律干预他国内政，实在是太霸道了!”这就是所谓的世界超级大国形象。

年初，南海风波一掀再掀，但不知道跟太平洋彼岸的美国有何干系!在各国寻求和解之时，出动航母频频军演，将南海局势愈演愈烈，向中国挑衅。口口声称阻碍了他的航道安全，真的如他所说吗?不是!纯属借口。这就是美国的“为富不仁”。

刚刚平息利比亚战争，想必各位无人不晓。是以美国为首的几个强国挑起的战争，而美国为了缓解自己国内的压力而蜻蜓点水“就算完事，将烂摊子一把甩给北约，这可算是把法国，英国脱下了水。战争后的利比亚真的安定吗?不是的!那里的文明被严重摧残。而他们所推崇的新政府却陷入了“难产”。这就是我所说的“奸”。

这个美国，不是吧自己的伙伴推下水，就是拿别的国家当垫脚石，还几次玩弄他国首相。

After a brief reunion with our American aunt, we soon embarked on a trip to the east of the United States. Our first stop was New York.
