那天，我们一家三口人来到奶奶家过端午节。奶奶准备了许许多多包粽子的材料;有红豆、糯米、粽叶、鲜肉……奶奶见我来了十分的高兴，笑眯眯地对我说：“鹏鹏，奶奶教你包粽子吧。”听了奶奶的话我可兴奋了，迫不及待地催奶奶快点包给我看。

只见奶奶拿起两片洗干净的粽叶，把它们叠起来，再捏住粽叶的一边，把粽叶轻轻一转成为了一个小斗。再往斗里灌进去糯米和红豆，然后再用粽叶把斗盖起来，用绳子扎紧，不一会儿就包好了一个粽子。看着奶奶娴熟的手艺，我真是钦佩又羡慕，我也跃跃欲试地拿起了两片粽叶。包粽子，看起来简单，可包起来却是那么的困难。我手忙脚乱，只包成了两个个四不像的粽子。可奶奶已经包好了许多完美的粽子。

奶奶把我包的粽子和她包的“完美”粽子一起放到大锅里煮。在煮粽子的时候，奶奶给我讲了端午节吃粽子的由来：从前有个很爱国的诗人，他的名字叫屈原，许多奸臣都嫉妒他的才能，在怀王面前说尽了他的坏话。不久后，怀王死了，屈原被赶出了城外。屈原看着自己心爱的国家日益衰弱，觉得自己活在世上也没能改变什么，一气之下投河自尽。老百姓们为了让屈原的遗体不被鱼儿吃掉，就发明了粽子来喂鱼。

听完了故事，我心里想：我也要向屈原学习，成为一个有用的人，可以为自己的国家做点力所能及的事情。感慨间，粽子煮好了，奶奶把一大锅粽子端到了桌子上。吃着我自己包的四不像粽子，感觉特别的香甜。

这就是我最喜欢的传统佳节——端午节。
