再则，停车的地点在同一个地方，停放问题又让不少市民反感。在上海，共享单车停放地点都占据了人行道和盲道，虽然大多数道路十分宽敞，足以能够容下车子和人的正常使用和行走，但是许多道路只能勉强让行人走路，加上又要停放单车，人行道变成了停车道。在北京，共享单车不仅占据了人行道，又由于停放不够美观，极大影响了北京这座城市的形象，市民也同样要求减少单车的投放数量。
