中华传统节日有很多，有除夕春节，元宵节，清明节，中秋节，重阳节等，每一个节假日都富有很浓的中国历史文化的背景，也包含了我国历史上著名的名人圣人，如果说每一种节日都能突出我国的历史传统文化的风俗内涵，但更多的是通过一种节日来纪念我国历史伟大上的先人，对于先人一种敬佩精神，利用节日习俗的寄托来告诫后人要学习先人的榜样，进而发挥中华传统节日的辉煌，一代传一代，进而导致没落的现象。

而最具有代表着中华传统节日的莫过于春节了，这也是我国民间最为热闹的一个传统节日。同时春节更能够代表着中华传统文化的节日特色，而春节也有许多丰富多彩的文化习俗如剪纸，贴对联，放炮竹，吃年夜饭等等，更多的体现出中华传统节日丰富多彩与浓浓的中国民族文化风，而一个民族的传统节日，要显示出它的历史文化价值就必须经过千百年里长期的积累之后又经后人总结和实践而成的，故在中华传统节日里每一种不仅仅代表着文化上习俗，更寄托每一位先人的精神。

所以我们需要加强对传统节日的宣传与弘扬，从自身做起，保护中国的传统文化。

Thank you for a rapid response to our invitation. Enclosed you will find an outline of events to take place during International Week here at the University of Montana. I will also list a number of possible speaking engagements so that you can choose those things in which you are most interested. As far as topics are concerned, the topics for classroom visits are generally determined by the professor, but most professors are very flexible. We have approximately thirty-five faculty members that teach courses in Asian Studies, ranging from language and culture to history and economics.

Here is a tentative schedule:

10 am - Cultural Exhibition opens

12 am - International Festival begins with a speech by the university president and an introduction of visiting dignitaries

1-5 pm - Opportunity to visit festival, interact with student performers, taste foods

6 pm - Dinner with Director of Mansfield Center Phil West, Ambassador Mark Johnson, and staff of Mansfield Center

新春到，新年好，家家户户好热闹。

春节前，每家每户都要准备很多东西。过去过年的时候要准备很多东西，要阉一些食品，要给小朋友买玩具，要买鞭炮，还要买很多蔬菜瓜果……那时候人们生活水平很低，物资很匮乏，所以人们要买很多东西储藏。人们还要打扫卫生，洗衣服，洗被单……因为新年要有新气象。现在生活水平提高，物资也多了，人们提倡吃新鲜的东西，超市里的东西应有尽有，人们的生活非常方便。

年初一开始，过去过年一大早，人们就提着东西去走亲访友拜年了，孩子也要去给长辈磕头拿红包。不仅是这些，大家还要逛庙会，咱们去那儿可以买东西、看戏剧，真是热闹非凡！有的人还去寺庙烧香，祈祷家人新的一年健康平安。现在过年，除了拜年还有新活动，大家可以去旅游，大家在游山玩水的过程当中可以开阔眼界。我去年过年的时候和爸爸妈妈还有孟桐瑶去苏州游玩，我去那里看到了四处美丽的园林，还吃了那里的特产。虽然现在的年味有点淡了，但我觉得过年还是很新鲜的。

正月十五后，春节就算过完了，新的一年开始了。

If the most beautiful season of the year is spring, for me, the most

interesting festival of the year is the new years Eve! On that day, we should

not only eat family reunion dinner, but also staying-up late on new years

eve.

农历五月初五端午节，是我国的传统节日。因古代有一位爱国诗人，名叫屈原，受奸人挑拨，被皇上驱逐。但他仍然爱自己的国家，最后在国家灭亡的时候投江自尽。后来人们为了纪念屈原，便有了今日的端午节。

吃粽子，端午节我最爱的风俗就是吃粽子啦!我姥姥包的粽子堪称一绝，姥姥每次都会将粽叶卷一圈儿纸圆锥状，放入糯米，红枣，封上盖子，用粽绳绑好，这样就完成了万水千山粽是情啊!

端午节总是那么别具特色，那么令人难以忘怀!

The shortage of housing is one of the most serious problems facing many big

cities in China. Though the government has spent a large sum of money on

housing,the investment has not been very resultful and a housing shortage still

exists. Two generations sharing one room and newlymarried couples finding it

difficult to have a house of their own are still common cases. Housing shortage

is a problem that requires an immediate solution.

Peoples attitudes towards the solution to the housing problem are

different. Some suggest building more tall apartment buildings; others believe

that we should develop underground housing areas. I am in favour of the former

opinion. For one thing, it is cheaper to build upward than downward. For

another, living underground for a long time will do harm to peoples health.

Above all,people are unwilling to live underground with artificial lighting and

they prefer to live normally on the ground to enjoy the sunshine.

Although there may be some other ways to solve the housing shortage

problem, I believe to build more apartment buildings is one of the feasible

solutions to the housing problem.

每年的正月初一是春节，俗称“过年”，是我国最隆重的传统节日，也是我最喜欢的节日。

春节前，大家都忙地热火朝天，姥姥忙着做各种美味佳肴，我帮着妈妈打扫卫生，姥爷忙着采购年货。到了除夕这天，我是最兴奋的，因为可以穿新衣、放烟花，吃年夜饭。这天早上，我早早起来，换上最漂亮的新衣服，就帮着姥姥贴对联、挂灯笼，把家里装饰的红红火火。到了下午，一家人欢欢喜喜地坐在一起吃年夜饭，说到年夜饭，可是有讲究的呢，桌子上一定是有鱼的，因为这意味着年年有余。吃完年夜饭，大家有说有笑地坐在沙发上看春晚了。

当新年的钟声响起，漫天的烟花就像一朵朵莲花绽开了笑脸，各式各样，五光十色，把天空点缀的格外美丽。按照姥爷家乡的习俗，要在晚上12点吃饺子，叫做“揣元宝”。我和妈妈在院子里看姥爷放烟花，姥姥在厨房里忙着煮饺子。热气腾腾的饺子端上了桌，大家都希望能吃到包了硬币的饺子，因为这代表着新的一年一定会带来好运。结果，一家人都吃到了有硬币的饺子，原来是因为姥姥包了很多个有硬币的饺子，为的是让我们全家人都能在新年有好运!

美好的春节，美味的饺子，绚丽的烟花，到现在我还念念不忘。“千门万户曈曈日，总把新桃换旧符”，背着王安石的诗，我期待着下一次的春节赶紧到来!

中国的传统节日有很多，都是传承了几千年的。有春节，有象征丰收与团圆的中秋节，还有扫墓祭祖、踏青郊游的清明节，有纪念我国伟大诗人屈原的端午节……，我最喜欢的还是端午节。

农历五月初五是端午节，是中国四大传统节日之一。据说端午节的由来是：战国时期，一个叫屈原的人不愿随波逐流。公元前278年5月5日，他抱石跳河自杀。附近群众得知消息后，纷纷划船救屈原，但没有屈原的影子。为了不让伟大诗人屈原的身体被湖底的鱼吃掉，人们用艾叶包起饭团扔给鱼。因此，粽子逐渐成为传统食品。

端午节期间，许多地方都有赛龙舟的习俗。龙舟赛开始时，鞭炮、鼓、锣、水一起响，选手们一起喊口号，沿海群众一起喊口号，看龙舟赛的声音，欢呼的声音，喊口号的声音，欢笑的声音，交汇在一起，震耳欲聋。赛龙舟是端午节最具特色的活动。端午节里的声音是洪亮的，端午节是用喧闹和兴奋来安慰我国伟大的诗人——屈原。屈原作为伟大的诗人，他一生为国家和人民奋斗，他也是一位孤独的学者，应该在声音的世界中得到平衡，在喧嚣的氛围中得到回报。

“八月十五月儿圆啊圆!”每当听到这首讲中秋节的儿歌时，我就想起了那年的中秋节!

过中秋节的前一天，妈妈已经买好了又香又甜的月饼。我和弟弟见了，馋得直流口水，真想今天就是快乐的中秋节啊!

第二天，我盼了好久好久，月亮终于冲破了厚厚的云层，露出了半张脸，像一个害羞的小姑娘一样，又过了一会儿，月亮慢慢地全部出来了，又圆又亮。月亮笼罩着整个大地披上了一层薄薄的轻纱。就在我看得正入神的时候，妈妈把甜甜的月饼、美味的水果都端上来了，还叫我们来品尝。我们开始吃月饼啦，我高兴极了!我拿起一把小刀，撕开了一个月饼的包装袋，把月饼拿出来，用小刀小心翼翼地一下、两下、三下把月饼分成好几小块，我分给大家，心里甜滋滋的。吃完月饼，我和兄弟姐妹们在楼顶上玩老鹰捉小鸡、捉迷藏、猜猜我是谁等等各种各样的游戏。

Valentine’s Day is on the February 14 each year. It is celebrated in many

countries around the world, although it remains a working day in most of them.

After New Years Day, it is the most celebrated holiday around the world. It’s a

holiday for lovers or couples. This is a festival of love and romance, as well

as flowers, chocolates, greeting cards. On that day, there are many activities

for couples to celebrate, showing their love to mate. Gift exchanging is the

most common. In recent years, February 14 become much more popular than before,

although there is another Valentine’s Day in China. Besides, there are many

people choose that day to propose marriage or get married. In short, it’s a day

of love.

When I was picking up my stuff after school， I saw a dog staring at me at the school gate .I was kind of scary. I thought the dog would bite me when I was going out. But it was not. The dog started to follow me. I was very afraid. I started to run away， but the dog did it， either. Suddenly， the dog ran pass away me. I realized the man in front of me was the owner of the dog. I was relieved.

From then on， as long as a dog stares at me， I will look back to have a look whether there is another person near or not.

Chinese there are a lot of traditional culture, such as the Lantern

Festival, the Dragon Boat Festival Dragon Boat Glutinous Rice Balls to eat, to

celebrate the Mid Autumn Festival, summer egg fight...... I love most is the

beginning of the egg fight.

The day of the beginning, I invited my buddy to fight my eggs. At the

beginning of the egg, mother prepared an egg for each of us and said, "who is

the last of the eggs, who is the king of the egg!" First of all, I and Yao

一年一度的中秋节来临了，因为我家的亲戚住的都比较远，所以我家的中秋节比较特殊，经常是两头奔波。

中秋节前两天，我和母亲急匆匆搭车去澧县外婆家提前拜中秋。乘车时，我看见很多人都提着月饼，我也不例外。我想，中国传统四大节日一定蕴涵着深刻的含义。中秋节的含义是?对了，中秋团圆，团团圆圆。中秋节还有一个习俗，就是家人一起吃月饼，意思是家人从此团团圆圆，永不分离。

从外婆家回来后，由于时间关系，不能够到乡下奶奶家去，就派爷爷做代表，将我们每一个人的祝福送到。

中秋节早上，吃饭早饭，母亲准备为中秋节准备一顿丰盛的大餐。母亲一进菜场就直奔卖鸡卖鸭的地方，我也跟着去凑热闹。我进去一看，觉得奇怪，平常买鸡买鸭都是现场杀，可今天鸭子已杀好二十多只，随时准备给买家提走，而鸡却没有杀好。就问父亲为什么，父亲说常德过中秋节还有个特别的习俗，那就是吃鸭子，这时我才恍然大悟。

晚上，我将坐垫和可以移动的桌面摆在阳台的地板上，桌上摆着一个圆盘子，圆盘子上有四个圆杯子，里面都装满了水，代表团团圆圆。桌上还有我最爱吃的毛豆，我们幸福的一家三口在坐垫上边吃毛豆边吃月饼边赏月，真是其乐融融。

其间，我们还做了个有趣的游戏，叫成语接龙。规则是每人接成语的时间不超过一分钟，超时算失败，失败者罚喝一杯水。开始，我们都接得很快，到后来，我就有点江郎才尽的感觉了。我不知道是母亲运气好还是怎么的，到母亲接的时候异常简单，而到我的时候却非常非常难，为此，中秋节的晚上我可没少喝水，害我一晚上上了很多次的卫生间。

每年的中秋节都各不相同，今年的中秋节又别有一番风味。

时光老人将2021年匆匆带走又将2022年带到我们的身边，正如诗人王安石说的”爆竹声中一岁除，春风送暖入屠苏“。新年是欢乐的。大街上小巷上,挤满了穿着新衣的游人,顽皮的孩子口里含着口香糖，手里拿这红的大气球在人群里转来转去，嬉笑欢乐地打闹着。

晚上，我们去奶奶家团年，奶奶给了我一个大红包，我连忙说：“谢谢”。正吃团年饭时，我看见桌子上有一盘鱼，我爱吃鱼，就捻一筷子吃，可是大家暗暗发笑。“怎么了”我问道。爷爷解释说：“过年的鱼是不能吃的，这象征着‘年年有余’呀”原来这样啊，其实我知道，可想不到现在也有这样的习俗啊!

看到如此热闹的场景我心中充满希望,一年之计在于春"，相信新的一年会更好。

国庆节到了，我们国家成立六十七周年了，机关、学校、工厂、社区、各单位门前挂着红布，上面写着“庆祝国庆”四个大字。

为了庆祝这一天，我们国家放七天长假，让大家高高兴兴的休息。有的人带着孩子去旅游，有的带着孩子去秋游，还有的带着孩子去超市、逛大街、进公园，大家都玩的特别开心。回家时大家都提着大包小包，有吃的，有穿的，有用的，还有学习用品和书籍。爸爸妈妈告诉我，现在生活真幸福，好像芝麻开花节节高，这应该感谢党的改革开放政策好。

国庆节的夜晚更加美丽，街上有各种各样的宫灯，五彩缤纷，还有人行道上火树银花星星点点，闪闪发光，使人看后流连忘返。

清明节是我国的传统节日，它大约始于周代，已有2500多年的历史了。它是重要的节气，到了清明节，气温慢慢升高，这是春耕春种的好时节。俗话说：“清明前后，种瓜种豆。”依据这句俗语人们开始种田。清明节和寒食节的时间非常接近，但它们并不一样，寒食节的习俗是禁火扫墓。由于它们的时间太相近了，渐渐地，清明节和寒食节就合二为一了。从此，清明节又称寒食节，习俗是不动火、吃凉食。

清明节的活动挺多。“清明时节雨纷纷，路上行人欲断魂。”清明前后，长辈们会带着子孙来到墓地祭祀已故的亲人。祭祀时要准备一些祭祀品：小元宝、冥币、冥纸摆在那里，结束后会把冥币烧掉。接着子孙会跪在地上念念有词，希望亲人保佑自己和家人，家人会在旁边讲一些以前和现在的家庭琐事，有的人还会挖一些新土盖在坟墓上面。人们通过纪念已故的亲人表示对他们的怀念，也可以教育子孙要学会文化的传承。

到我做的时候，我把粽叶片拿起来，首先把粽叶做成一个三角形，顶上留住一边，用来放糯米的洞。接着是把糯米和肉放进去，我放糯米的时候，一不小心手滑了，糯米都掉在了地上，我看见了有一点伤心，我的心里想：“这么好的糯米，就这样掉在了地上，真可惜呀!”

我又拿了一些糯米，放到里面。这一次，我不但没有手滑，还做了好多个粽子，我很开心。

To my surprise, Beijing is such a modern city that my parents and I all admire the development of it these years. We visited many wonderful places there, such as the Forbidden City, the Summer Palace and the Great Wall. What impressed me most was that people there were all very friendly and some of them could even speak Enlish. But still I think that there are some problems of this city, which I dislike. Those are too many people there and the heavy traffic. If there were fewer people and less traffic, it would be better.
