最近，和家长交流的时候，听到了两个关于老师的挺有意思的故事。一位家长说：他的孩子十分庆幸，在初四的时候，遇到了一位比较严厉的老师，把他的孩子管理的服服帖帖，基本上没犯什么错误。但是，到了高中以后，遇到了一位比较好脾气的老师，对他的孩子管理的不够严格，结果，孩子的成绩一个劲的下降。另一位家长说，他的孩子很不幸，遇到了一位好脾气的老师，从来没去批评学生，结果班里没大有学习的，自己的成绩也不好。听完之后，不禁感慨：老师现在的确越来越难当了，管也不是，不管也不是！恰巧，这两位老师，我都认识，在领导、老师们的口碑中，表现还都不错。但是，在家长们的眼中，表现确大相径庭。这源于家长们看待教师的角度不同，看待自己孩子的角度不同。不过，在这里，我思考的却是这样一个问题：教师应该交给学生什么？在学生的教育过程中，教师应该发挥怎样的作用？

如果，单纯的管理学生，那将是肤浅的。教育者，还应该有对学生成长的引导作用。

管理，是教师对学生的永恒的话题。在很多的时候，管理成为了我们教师、学生之间最重要的内容。更有三分教，七分管的说法，将教师的管理提高到较高的境界。面对学生的不遵守纪律情况，很多教师严格管理，如狂风暴雨般的批评扑面而来，骤然能够使班内的纪律好转很多。但是，这种纪律好转的情况是迫于班主任老师的威严。于是，在这种理论基础下，很多学校班主任的选择就选择那些能够威吓住学生的老师。这样的结果，本也无可厚非。这也充分反映了应试教育下相适应的管理特点：直接，见效快。

但仅有这些是远远不够的。让学生迫于压力下的自学，远不如学生主动地学习；让学生迫于压力下的遵守纪律，远不如学生能够自觉地遵守纪律。所以，在上面得基础上，还应该加上对学生的正面引导。这种正面的引导包括学习的目的、意义、方法等。但是，随着学生的知识面的扩大，单纯的说教已经不能适应学生的思想要求，必须适时的改变方法，用不同的方式来教育学生。在这里需要指出的是，绝对不能用说反话的方式来教育学生，来刺激学生的思维，学生很可能会按照你的反话去做。思想教育应该是学生直面的一个永恒的话题，是学生成长中的一个必须接受洗礼的蜕变过程。

所以，教师的责任应该不仅仅是管理学生，还应该教学学生更多的道理，教给学生成长中所必须的人文知识，让学生在学习的道路上逐渐的学会自己走路，走自己的路，走好属于自己的每一步。
