During the winter vacation, nothing is different for my life. I wake up 11

Like any other English learner, I met a lot of difficulties in learning English.

First, I found it difficult to understand what I read because most English words have more than one meaning. Besides, I found it difficult to write in idiomatic English or put Chinese into idiomatic English. Finally, I couldnt express in English orally because I had no opportunity to communicate with native English speakers. Although I often read aloud, this didnt prove to be an effective way to improve my spoken English.

But I didnt lose heart in removing these obstacles. I tackled English vocabulary in two ways. First,I tried to understand and memorize the specific meaning of a word that appears in the context. Second, I enlarge my vocabulary by learning the dictionary by heart. To overcome Chinese English, I tried to think in English directly. Although I still had no opportunity to communicate with native speakers, I improved spoken English by listening to the English broadcast and writing English composition. This expedient turned out to be effective.

像任何其他的英语学习者,我在学习英语遇到了很多困难。

首先,我发现很难明白我读,因为大多数英语单词有一个以上的意义。此外,我发现很难用地道英语或者把中国变成地道英语。最后,我无法用英语口头表达,因为我没有机会与以英语为母语的人交流。虽然我经常大声朗读,这并没有被证明是一个有效的方法来提高我的英语口语。

I am terribly sorry that I failed to arrive at BLCU last Friday. I hope that this did not mess you up completely, although I know that you had already made some special arrangements for my visit with you parents and friends. I am very sorry about all that. I am sure you will be sympathetic, however, when I tell you that my father is dangerously ill in hospital, and that I found it impossible to leave for the visit when he is in this state.

My father was working very hard on his project on protecting the environment. I know the project has come to a very important stage. He and his assistants did not take regular rest for three weeks. Last night, my father had a heart attack and was soon sent to the hospital. The doctor said my father was in a very serious situation, and, he might need an operation.

24 hours have passed. Nothing has changed. I have to stay at the hospital. I will let you know if there is any good news.

星期三的早晨，羊亭学校里充满着欢乐而紧张的气氛。同学们都跃跃欲试，希望在这次赛事中大显身手，赛出好成绩。

开始发“压岁钱”啰!小孩子们嘴里说着吉祥话，像长辈们讨要红包。本来爷爷的压岁钱已经给过了，可她老人家还觉得不够尽兴，又拿出一大沓钱来，有5元的，10元的，20元的等不同面值的钱，向空中抛洒着。我和其他的孩子一哄而上，赶紧去抢。就在这时我发现。地上有一张散落下来的10元钱，我立刻捡起来，才没让那10元钱“易主”。

春节联欢晚会不知何时已经开始了，我们一家人便坐到电视机前，津津有味地欣赏着精彩的节目：诙谐幽默的小品逗得我们捧腹大笑;神奇的魔术看的我们目不转睛;精妙绝伦的歌舞让我们拍案叫绝……

时间不知不觉已经过去了四小时，随着十二点的钟声敲响，大家送走了虎虎生威的虎年，又迎来了顶呱呱的兔年啦!春节一大早，奶奶就已经煮好了香甜可口的红豆年糕，年糕。年糕，谐音是年高，寓意着年年高升!楼下已经有人开始放鞭炮了，在热闹的鞭炮声中，新的一年开始了!

我最喜欢的一本书是《中国寓言故事》。 My favorite book is "Chinese Fable Story".

这本书里面有很多寓言，其中我最爱看的寓言是《不食盗食》。古时候有个人叫爰旌目。读了不少圣贤书。有一天出发到外地去，路上他用完了钱粮。饿得昏倒在地上。

正好有一个强盗，眼见爰旌目就要饿死了，就回去取来了汤饭，再一口一口地送进了他的嘴里。

喂了三遍以后，爰旌目就可以睁开眼睛能看东西了，一看到了强盗就问：“你是什么人?”

强盗看见他苏醒过来，十分高兴地回答：“我是强盗啊!”

爰旌目听了，就不吃强盗送的饭，饿死了。

爰旌目只知道照着书本上说的去做：不要吃强盗给的东西。这个人知道自己快饿死了，脑子还不转弯，死得一点价值都没有。

这本寓言故事书有很多寓言，让我们懂得了各种各样做人的道理。

我要把这本书带到学校去，让同学们看了也懂得做人的道理。

暑假假过的真快，在有几天就开学了，在两个月的暑假里，我玩的很开心，那就是和爸爸妈妈去山东青岛去看海。

一天，爸爸对我说要带我去看海，我听了以后非常兴奋，因为这是我第一次去看大海。我爸爸要开车带我去山东青岛去玩，经过九个小时的车程，终于到达了目的地青岛。

刚到海边，我所有的疲惫都被海风吹走了。远远望去，海水碧蓝碧蓝的，金色的沙滩被海浪拍打着，发出一阵阵“哗哗”的声音，这是大海在向我们呼唤，听了就让人有种凉爽的感觉。海风迎面吹来，带来了一丝海的味道。海面无边无际，在海天交界之处，海水与蓝天融为一体，分不清哪个是海，哪个是天。大海真雄伟壮阔啊!

我迫不及待地冲到海边，看到大海无比的兴奋，光着脚丫，一手提着凉鞋，一手抚摸着海水。我卷起裤腿，站在浅滩上，海水浸没了我膝盖以下的部分，往远处眺望，只见海和天连接之处出现了一条白线，慢慢地白线由远而近，像一匹匹脱缰的野马奔腾而来。这是一个巨浪，为了避免危险，我想跑到较远的沙滩，可是还没跑多远，海浪已经打在我身上了，一条裤子全湿了。不过这一浪打来有不小的收获：有贝壳、海螺，还有海白菜等等。这些东西像是大海送给我的见面礼。为了更能感受到大海的气息，我坐上快艇在海上兜了一圈，快艇如风驰电掣般在海面上行驶着，我大声地尖叫着，海浪不停地拍打着我，我真正的感觉到了大海的怀抱是无比的宽广。

在海边的石头缝里还可以找到很多的小螃蟹，两只长长的“钳子”来回的摆动的，来保护的自己。看上去真的好可爱，可是我不敢捉它们。

天色渐渐暗了，时间过的真快啊!我真不舍得离开这美丽的大海。如果我们每个人都有大海一样的胸怀，那么我们的世界就会变得更加和谐美丽。

In Chinese lunar calendar, July 7th is a romantic day for the young people,

world. She fell in love with an ordinary man. But there was limitation between

immortal and human being, so they were separated by the lady’s parents. Their

love story moved a lot of people and the girl’s parents decided to let this

couple meet on July 7th every year.

Today, When Qixi Festival comes, the single ladies and men will try to ask

the one they like out. They want to have a date and show their likeness. So they

know each other’s heart if they say yes on that day. The romantic atmosphere can

be sensed everywhere and we are enjoying it.

每一个人都有自己的榜样，而我的榜样，就是——我的班长钱伊琳她基本上每次考试都考到95分以上，所以他就是我的榜样。

记得又一次，我们英语考试来了，我马上临时抱佛脚，看起了英语书，然后，开始考试了，但我感觉到有点难，就心想：完了，这回一定考差了!然后竟还有几个是空着不会的，比如说：我把花朵的英文给忘了。

果然，我这次只考了86分，我看到钱伊琳又考了100分，我就发愤图强，死K英语书，发誓下次不考到100分就誓不为人。

有英语考试了，我这次则感觉十分简单，我又心想：我这次一定会考得很好，一定会考一百分。然后我就开始了检查了，突然，我有点没有耐心了，但是我心想：钱伊琳能考100分，我也行!然后又继续检查了，我突然发现一个错误：我把人们写成了paper，应该是people。然后，我马上改了回来。然后我又继续检查了。所以我觉得我这次一定可以考一百分的，我又发现了好多不应该错的题目我把它写错了。

发试卷时，老师说：“这次有一个一百分…”我在心里祈祷着：一定是我，一定是我……我心跳加速，头上冒出了豆大的汗珠，“就是宋骁骏”没想到我竟然是100分，我心想：我是一百分，这就是榜样的力量么，恩!一定是这样的。

我又问了钱伊琳几分，没想到她也考了99.5分，而且她也是因为一个粗心的题目而扣了0.5分。所以，这就是榜样的力量。

榜样的力量，就是那么强大。

Today， the biology class is very different. We don’t need to sit in the

classroom， because the teacher takes us to do activities. We go to a field that

is near our school， and the task for us is to observe flowers. We feel so

knowledge. I am so happy.

国庆节放假，我和爸爸妈妈坐着自家车，向着奶奶家，然而在公路上高速飞驰。

一般我坐在车里都会很快睡着的，可这天不知怎的，睡意全无。我便一边悠闲地靠在车窗旁，一边看着风景。

奶奶家在乡下，现又就是秋天，景色就应很不错。我仰起头望了望阴气沉沉的天，还好窗已经关上了，就算下雨也不会打扰到我。那灰蒙蒙的天际之下，就是墨色的山。由于远处的树木高低不同，所以那墨色的山的边缘就是模糊不清的，就是有一种扑朔迷离的画境的美感。就好似一个著名的画家刻意用墨来泼上去，没有夹杂一点绿色。然而车子在动，远处的景物却没动，我真想用一个精美的画框给这美丽的景色裱上去！

目光移下，就是片低点儿的群山。那墨色的山的下面，不再单一，那些不同种类，不同样貌，不同高低的树叶，给群山添上了一笔又一笔的美丽色彩：墨绿，草绿，青绿，翠绿……有淡的，浅的，深的，浓的……这些颜色大概只有画家在尤其幸运时才能调出来。大风刮着这片叶海，叶浪忽高忽低，几片叶子不时地蹦出来，就好像鱼儿从水中跳出，孩子在水中嬉戏一样活跃。

再低点，就就是飞速移动，一般高低的麦田了。此时还不到深秋吧？然而麦子还不熟呢!麦尖虽然透露了一点丰收喜讯的金色，可其他的麦穗，麦秆和麦叶还不同意呢！他们抖着翠绿的身躯，发着轻柔的抗议……

那就是什么？一颗小水滴正趴在窗前对我笑呢！原先下雨了啊！正好睡意也赶到了，不如我们等会儿见吧！

今天，我正在里院子和娇娇、苗苗玩吊床，突然，一阵冷风扑面而来，把我们三个冻得直哆嗦，回头一看，一棵新载的小树苗被风给吹歪了，我跑过去一看，小树苗幸亏没死，这时候苗苗和娇娇过来了，苗苗拽着我的手说：“赶紧玩吊床吧!”娇娇说：“人家正在把小树苗扶起来。”苗苗拽着我的手把我拉到吊床上，娇娇往小树苗这面拽。我就说：“我把小树苗扶起来在玩吊床吧”，大家都同意了。于是我们把小树苗重新栽了起来。

Since I come to college, I feel so excited about the new life. Before I go

to college, I have pictured the wonderful life here, but now I find I have many

problems and the campus life is not as wonderful as I think. I need to adjust my

lifestyle.

In high school, in order to inspire students to study hard, teachers always

picture the amazing life in college, so most students treat college as the

paradise. But when they start the new life, they find the difference between

dream and reality. For me, I think I could play most of the time, joining

parties and making a lot of friends. However, study occupies most of my time. I

have so many lessons to learn. Sometimes I even have class at night. This makes

me feel unexpected.

But the time to study is not the only annoyance for me. I feel so

frustrated when I lag behind other classmates. In the college, I meet classmates

from different cities, and some of them have the talents in paining and dance,

some studied very well. So I felt small and faced pressure. Now I learn that I

should learn from them and dont treat them as competitors. Enjoying study comes

first.

星期天，是我最期待的日子，因为有我最喜欢的篮球课。下午，我早早地到了篮球场，发现教练已经在那边等我们了。

到了三点半，球友们也陆陆续续地到了。教练说：“今天，我们来打一场篮球赛。”大家不约而同地跳了起来，摇晃着双手，大喊大叫：“好呀!好呀!哈哈”尤其是我的声音叫的最大呢。

随着一声令下，教练把个球抛在空中，我用力一蹦，把球紧紧地拿在手中。我拍着球飞奔向对方球筐。可是两个对手从身后飞跑过来。他们的手越摆越快，眼看就要追上来了。说时迟那时快，我一个下蹲，跳了起来，手使劲一推，把球向篮球筐投去，只见球在筐上转了几圈，竟然掉了出来，太可惜了。

这时对方球员抢先一步把球拿到了，飞速地向我方球筐冲去。我也不甘示弱急忙往回撤，风在耳边呼啸而过，当我正要追上对方拿球队员，张开双手要把他的球给截下来。这时他却一个转身把球传给了另外一个对方球员，竟然把我和其他防守队员给全晃过去了，等我们想再阻挡时已经太晚了，对方投出一个漂亮弧线飞向篮筐，只见球在篮筐上“嘣、嘣”弹了出来，虽然没中，还是吓了我们一身冷汗。

这次我们抢到了球，又再次边拍球边喊着“快，往前冲”，可是对方球员也不是吃素的，早就把我们进攻路线拦住了。突然我方一个小队员灵活从防守的缝隙中穿了进去，还向我挥了挥手，我没有犹豫就把球传给了他。只见他拿球右手举的高高的，单脚用力一跳，手腕轻轻一推，球应声入筐。球进了!大家拍掌互贺。

进球的事真是让人兴奋，此时，我无比快乐，哈哈哈
