这天早上，我从床上爬起来，看见客厅里的月饼盒，才想起来今天是中秋节。我想：“要不要去吓唬吓唬爸爸妈妈?”一边蹑手蹑脚地走进了爸妈的房间。他们俩还在呼呼大睡。我大叫一声：“中秋快乐!”爸爸妈妈吓得跳了起来，逗得我哈哈大笑。

为什么要有这个中秋节呢?因为中秋节的神话传说是嫦娥奔月，后羿常在月下摆酒席，而嫦娥奔月的那天正是八月十五，所以，这天又被称为中秋节。相传月宫里有一个人叫吴刚，是汉朝西河人，曾跟随仙人修道，到了天界，但是他犯了错误，仙人把他贬谪到月宫，每天都砍伐月宫前的桂树，以示惩处。这棵桂树生长繁茂，有五百多丈高，每次砍下去之后，被砍的地方又会立即合拢。
