I went to the home for the aged with my friends on July 30th. As soon as the aged saw us, they were all happy. 1.We sang songs and danced for them. Then we helped the worker clean the rooms and washes the clothes. They praised us a lot and said that we were good boys. Although we felt tired, we had a good time.

Last night, I played football match with my friends. We were divided into

two teams and the lose team would get some punishment. At last, my team lost,

the score was so close and I felt so pity. My friends from other team came to

console me, he said all of us done so well. I know friendship comes first, don’t

let the result affect our friendship.

A Happy Day

Today is Saturday， my family and I go to have a picnicin the park， I feel so excited， because our family does not have the activityfor a long time. At first， I go to see the park and play for a while， then Icome back to my parents， and join them. I play games with my parents， theylaugh happily. Today is a happy day for me.

今天的英语课上，我们玩了一种新游戏，规则是：老师抛出泡沫做的筛子，那是个很大的筛子，像足球那么大个，不过是四方形的。谁抢到筛子，谁就读5个单词，读完5个单词有奖励1个星星。刚开始老师走到哪里我们就跟到哪里，气得老师说：“回去！这样违反了游戏规则。”我们只好灰溜溜的回到自己的座位上。这时，老师一挥，大筛子朝中间的潘晨艺砸过去，他伸手接住啦！我旁边的黄子洋叹了口气说：“唉，没抢到，真是的。”随着老师抛筛子位置的变换，我们也跟着移动，好几个人都抢到筛子了。 我像毛毛虫似的扭来扭去的接，可就是接不到。唉！大家正玩得热火朝天呢，老师说：“游戏时间结束，现在开始复习功课。”唉！真扫兴！大伙儿唉声叹气的回到座位上。因为没接到筛子，这节课我才得到2颗星星，下节课我要加油了！

I like toys very much. There are all kinds of toys in my home. These toys are bought by my father and my mother. I grew up with these toys. It not only brings me happiness, but also inspires my intelligence.

My Home

My home is on the first floor. There are two bedrooms， a kitchen and a living room. I’m a child. I have a nice bedroom. In my bedroom， there is bedroom， a closet， an air- conditioner and so on. My closet is green. My bed is blue. I love my bedroom very much.

The Advantages of Doing Physical Exercises

As the proverb goes, “no one knows the value of health until he loses it.”

From this, we know

that health is very important to everybody. But how to keep fit? Many

people believe that sports can offer people health and pleasure. As far as I

concern, I think doing physical exercises have lots of advantages.

朝野上下都为楚国的前途担忧。当时主管军政的右司马以他的机智，委婉的用猜谜方式劝谏了庄王：“臣在南方时，见到一只鸟，它落在南方的土岗上，三年不展翅、不飞翔、不鸣叫，沉默无声，这只鸟叫什么名啊?”楚庄王知道右司马是在暗示自己，就说：“三年不展翅，是在生长羽翼;不飞翔、不鸣叫，是在观察民众的态度。这鸟虽然不飞，一飞必然冲天;虽然不鸣，一鸣必然惊人。你回去吧，我知道你的意思了”。此后，楚庄王整顿朝纲，重振君威，没过多久把楚国治理得国富兵强。

战国时期，秦国和赵国打仗，赵国败了，赵国的平原君想挑选二十个门客与自己一同前往楚国求援，结果挑来挑去，还少一个。这是有个叫毛遂的门客向平原君推荐了自己，他说：“既然人数不够，先生不如带上我出发吧!”平原君经不住毛遂再三恳求，勉为其难的答应了。

到了楚国。平原君和楚王从上午谈到中午，也没有谈妥派援兵结盟这件事，毛遂不耐烦地冲上殿去，楚王斥责他：“我和你的主人在说话，哪里轮得到你放肆?”毛遂拿着剑对楚王说：“十步之内，你的性命在我手中!”楚王见毛遂来真的，便不敢轻举妄动，竖起耳朵听他发表“高见”。于是毛遂把出兵援赵有利于楚国的道理，作了精辟的分析。毛遂凭着三寸不烂之舌，说得楚王心悦诚服，答应马上出兵。不几天，楚、魏等国联合出兵援赵，秦军终于撤退了。
