DragonBoatFestival, often known as Tuen Ng Festival or Duan Wu Festival, is a traditional Chinese festival held on the fifth day of the fifth month of the Chinese calendar. It is also known as the Double Fifth.[citation needed] It has since been celebrated, in various ways, in other parts of East Asia as well, most notably Korea.

The exact origins of Duan Wu are unclear, but one traditional view holds that the festival memorializes the Chinese poet Qu Yuan of the Warring States Period. He committed suicide by drowning himself in a river because he was disgusted by the corruption of the Chu government. The local people, knowing him to be a good man, decided to throw food into the river to feed the fishes to prevent them from eating Qus body. Serious Floods

The Yangzte River is the longest river in China. And its important and helpful to us Chinese. But these days the Yangtze River is bringing us serious floods.

Many villages were destroyed by floods. The floods made hundreds of millions of people lose their homes, relatives and friends. Many children cant go to school as usual .Now the foods have drawn the attention of the whole world. People from abroad have offered their help too. In China, millions of soldiers are busy fighting against the floods. They are working very hard. Many of them have lost their lives in their attempt to save the villagers.

Though we cant help them to fight against floods, we should help them to rebuild their homeland. We can present them our pocketmoney and clothes. I believe most of the people will return to their homeland in the near future.

keep a healthy lifestyle. In the school, students are forced to take exercise in

I turn on the radio to enjoy some light music. Much to my disappointment, however, almost all the programs are about the war in Iraq. It is hard to believe that under the same blue sky,some people are suffering from bleeding and death of war while others are enjoying a happy life.

The sun is hidden by the clouds. After a few seconds, it shines brightly again.

Last week, I visited the geological museum with my best friend, Liu Bing.

It was my first time to go there. The moment we arrived there, we found that the

政治老师，虽然平时看似与其他老师没什么区别，但她走进班级的造型还真是十分的与众不同。有的老师手上总抱着两本书，一脸严肃地来到班级;有的老师似乎会轻功，不管穿的是高跟鞋还是平底鞋，总能在我们班闹哄哄的时候悄声无息的走进班级;有的老师随身一个养生杯，容积大不说，里面有茶叶、枸杞、人参，应有尽有。而我们政治老师呢，她总背一个大黑包，两只胳膊分别拎一个深蓝色的公文包，每个包都鼓鼓囊囊的，总让我感觉她似乎把办公室里所有的东西都带来了。到了班级门口时，又因门太窄，她只好横着进来，每每看见政治老师这般模样，我们都会忍俊不禁。

当政治老师走上讲台时，她从包里拿出来的都是一沓又一沓的讲义，都是她精心为我们整理好的，她一边发讲义一边说：“你们呀，光是语数英就够你们写的啦，我帮你们整理好，只要认真背这个讲义就好了。”这一席话让我们都感到很温暖，看着老师的白发，我能想象到，为了将整本书压缩成五张纸的分量，老师费了多少心思。虽然老师的出场很滑稽，但她的包里装的都是对我们的关爱啊。

以后政治老师走到班级，我们依然偷偷地笑，可那笑中也包含对老师深深的感激。

我喜欢冬天，因为冬天可以和朋友打雪仗，堆雪人。

冬天很冷，可雪景很美。下雪了，下雪了，大地妈妈铺上了一层厚厚的棉被，房子和树木都穿上了银白色的衣裳。雪大了，雪花娃娃调皮的飞舞着，那雪轻柔、洁白，像柳絮，像杨花，像鹅毛一样纷纷扬扬的飘洒下来。不一会儿，大地妈妈的怀抱里就有许多雪娃娃了。

冬天，我和许多小朋友堆雪人，先把雪团成一团，然后滚成一个大雪球。然后再做一个不大不小的雪球放到大雪球上面，雪人就成型了。接着，拿两个龙眼核当眼睛，拿个胡萝卜当鼻子，用树枝画一个嘴，用石头做纽扣，用一个铁桶做雪人的帽子，扫把做雪人的手臂，再给她围个红领巾，雪人就做好了。

打雪仗更好玩了，先把雪团成一个个雪球，然后你扔我，我扔你，雪落到身上，冰冰凉凉的，大家开心极了。

我很喜欢冬天，冬天真的很美，你觉得呢?

夏天的来到，正是蚊子出生的时候，大批大批的蚊子刚出生，饿着肚子，不时发出嗡嗡声，让人听着难受。蚊子发出的嗡嗡声就好像代表着要想向食物进发。 The summer comes. It is when the mosquito is born. 蚊子是懒惰的，是贪婪的，是自私。它们每天只知饿了就去找食物吃，在得到食物时，毫不付出任何代价。也罢，世上貌似只有蚊子的食物是永远存在的，到处都有，能不用劳动得到。但是蚊子每当享受甜美的食物时。

就会忘了一些的存在，吃了还想吃，即使肚子饱饱的，还要吃，吃个不停。到最后，只有一条路，走上这条路的方式有很多种，被人发现了，啪得一声;吃得太饱了，飞也飞不动了，在地上慢慢爬着，被大大小小的脚掌一踩;被重的东西一压……唉，最后还不是同一个结果，只是去得方式不同罢了。

当然我们生活中也有这样的人，不想去工作、去劳动，又想有钱吃喝玩乐。迫不及待，无法控制自己的情绪，就会想去做亏心事，不折手段地得到钱。人就想据有惯性一样，一旦开始了，就不能马上停下了，慢慢地，慢慢地，就上瘾了，在想停下来，像是比登天还难。到了最后，还不是和蚊子一样，走上了，早已准备好了的，同样的道路。当然，去得方式也许会有不同，但最后的结果是相同的。

人活在世上，就要堂堂正正的做人，要有做人的原则。做一个有尊严的人，不能像蚊子一样，随时都会舍弃自己的尊严，迷失了自己。

虽然每个人的尊严不同，但不要在迷失后，后悔中想起，因为已经晚了。

在20____年5月20号的早上10点38分，哇哇声划破了早上的宁静，天上的太阳都快被吵跑了。

小时候，我长得眉清目秀，圆圆的小脑袋是有两道黑黑的眉毛，下面有一双炯炯有神的大眼睛，还有一张樱桃小嘴，和一个高高的鼻子。对了，我的脾气很倔，就像一头倔强的小驴。

听奶奶说，我10个月就会说话，1岁多就会走路。我说起话来非常流利，走起路来一摇一摆的，就像一只小企鹅……我一步步的走着，每走一步都很艰难，一眨眼，3年过去了。

我在幼儿园过着无忧无虑的生活。我能歌善舞，六一儿童节的时候还当上了小主持人呢!

记得有一次，我在玩妈妈买的新奥特曼，我看见了一个纸做的怪兽，于是，我拿手中的奥特曼把怪兽打成了一张废纸。回家后我把这件事告诉了妈妈

妈妈听了哭笑不得。看，5岁的我天真烂漫。

随着年龄的增长，我进入了小学。经过了11个春夏秋冬，终于我上到了六年级，学习负担更重了，小小的我就有了烦恼。

记得有一次，我10岁的时候，爸爸给我买了个滑板。刚开始，我很害怕，总是扶着墙壁，后来，爸爸说：“是男子汉吗?把手松开。”听了着话我既有点害怕，又好像有了勇气，最后我还是战胜了心中的恐惧，我把手松开了，好像心中没有了方向，心中没有了希望，心中找不到勇气。我摔倒了，我又爬起来，我不禁想起了“失败乃是成功之母。”这句话，我又鼓起勇气，经过我的无数次的摔倒，又爬起来，终于，功夫不负有心人，我学会了!看，10岁的我既勇敢又很胆怯。

这就是我，一个可爱，天真烂漫和一个既有勇气又很胆怯的我。虽然还是不怎么了解自己，但是我知道我有一颗奋发向上的心，向往在风风雨雨中磨练自己。
