一、遣词方面：用词要贴切而丰富，善用短语 ,词汇是语言的建筑材料，文章的好坏，选词很关键，如果用词精湛，就会使文章“亮”起来。

1、措辞要贴切具体

试比较下面句子：

2、要善于运用短语

短语用得好，会给评卷员留下深刻印象。如：

3、要避免汉语思维

用词要符合英语习惯，避免汉语思维的影响，如某些名词和动词搭配已约定俗成，不能随意打乱其搭配习惯，否则会显得生硬和词不达意。如汉语中的“学到知识”，英语中就不能说“learn knowledge”，而要说acquire knowledge (获得知识) 。类似的动宾结构还有achieve success (获得成功)，gain reputation (获得声誉)，attain ones end (达到目的)等。

二、造句方面：句式要准确而多变，活用复合句

简单句用得太多，会造成文章读起来乏味。在评卷员看来，同样意思的内容，能够运用比较复杂的句式结构来表达，当然会认为其运用语言的能力要比只会用简单句来表达要强，评分自然就高。

1、巧用非谓语动词

运用非谓语动词，可使文句看起来更简洁，使语言更加丰富多彩，重点更加突出，增加文采。如：

2、巧用with复合结构

“with+名词/代词+现在分词/过去分词/形容词/副词/介词”结构，常作伴随状语以增加被描绘内容的生动性和情感性，使文章读起来更简洁明了。试比较：

I couldnt go on studying with so much noise troubling me. (高级)

3、巧用复合句

4、巧用倒装句、感叹句、强调句、虚拟语气句等

使用这些句式可使文章化平淡为生动，加强语气，使评卷老师感受作者的强烈情感。

三、谋篇方面：结构要清晰而流畅，巧用过渡词

在作文教学中，通过对一定的语言材料进行不同方式的处理，确实是锻炼学生的思维，发展学生的想象力的一条重要途径。当学生对当前的语言材料进行阅读、处理时，进行了充分的分析、比较，又充分展示了自己的想象力，其思维得到了充分的发散。

Which is better, shopping online or traditional shopping? Different people have different attitudes towards it. Some people think that online shopping is very convenient, for it can save them a lot of time and energy. It’s especially helpful for those who are always busy with their work. Besides, through the internet, they can get more information about the commodities they want to buy and buy a lot of things that cannot be bought in local places.

I havent write diaries for a period of time. I am now writing this just want to remember one thing. My study has fallen behind a lot this term. I can keep my score in the top ten in the whole school ranking before. But this term I fall behind. I nearly draw back to fifty. I know the reason is because I am too arrogant. Time slips away like water, and a happy, happy, happy summer vacation is quietly taken away. What happened during the summer vacation was like a star in the sky. Because I especially like to read books about history, but I am very unhappy because I have too many homework to read. In this summer vacation mom seemed to see my heart, and immediately to the library of our village four or five books about history of thick book to me, then I watched intently. But I saw it in three weeks and I had nothing to do. Three days after reading the book, I was still bored. Finally, my fourth day mother asked me to go with her to move the watermelon!

I put on my boots and started off with the bucket. I walked gingerly on the slippery field, and gradually saw many watermelons, carefully removing the round watermelon, for fear of falling on the ground. "One, two, three..." I put five big watermelons on the bucket, and I lifted the bucket and pulled it back. I was full of sweat when I came home, but "the emperor has no man to do", and my mother gave me an ice watermelon to reward me. Its nice!

But, those are memories, and the new semester is the one that needs to be faced.
