六七月过后，板栗树上就挂满了果实，圆圆的果子，和核桃大小差不多，身上长满了柔软嫩绿的小刺，远远望去像一个个可爱的小刺球。

中秋节过后，板栗就成熟了，这时候柔软嫩绿的小刺变得很坚硬，颜色也变成了咖啡色，一个个咧开嘴笑呵呵的，像一只只淘气的小刺猬。

板栗经过去皮，炒熟变成了香甜可口的美食。刚出锅的板栗可不能急着去吃，会烫到嘴的！有一次由于贪吃，觉得胃特别不舒服，才知道板栗不好消化，一次不能吃太多的。
