Ladies and gentlemen,

I feel it a great honor to have a chance to give a speech here, talking

about the haze weather, which causes lots of bad effects on our health and life.

We breathe polluted air, making us suffer from lung and liver diseases. Besides,

because of it, the flights have to be canceled. All kind of transports may run

into each other, resulting in much damages and lots of injuries.

As far as I am concerned, it is high time that we did something. As

individuals, we should ride the underground or buses instead of cars to reduce

carbon dioxide. As government, more measures should be taken by carrying out the

related law on pollution.

In summary, we’re all looking forward to breathe fresher air and live a

happier life. Everyone should be a part of this job.

在我们的日常生活中，有很多的人都不节约资源，非常浪费。比如：有些人洗完手之后不关水龙头;有些人因为一张还没有写过的纸很破了，就随手扔进垃圾桶;有些人吃饭吃到一半就不吃了，最后把饭倒掉;还有些人，自己不在家里，却开着电脑、电视机等。我们应该每时每刻都记得节约每一滴水、每一张纸、每一粒米、每一度电。以此减少二氧化碳的排放。

以前，我是一个比较不懂得节约的女孩子，通过这次寒假“我的低碳生活”活动，我决定亲身体验一下低碳生活。

我想：先给自己定一个计划表吧!嗯?看电视：不能超过一个半小时。电脑：要查资料的时候用一下，平时不玩。洗手：不直接用水龙头冲洗，要把水放进脸盆里洗。用纸：直到把纸写得满满的为止，再扔掉。要多出去走走，不要一直闷在家里。

今天，妈妈说：“今天我们去外婆家。”我对妈妈说：“妈妈，我们骑自行车去好吗?因为现在我们要感受低碳生活嘛!要减少二氧化碳的排放。”“那好吧。”妈妈说。我们骑着自行车出发了，刚开始的时候感觉挺有趣的。到一半时，我觉得两脚酸极了，像嘴里喝了一口醋一样，腿也软极了，像棉花一样。快看见外婆家的时候我已经骑不动了，心想：骑自行车还真累啊，而且能量消耗也太快了吧!要是开车来的话，早就已经到了。哎!谁叫我现在要低碳生活呢?反正快要到了就坚持一下吧!就当是在长跑比赛吧，不管多么累，总是要跑到终点的。到了，快到了。我非常兴奋，马上就把骑不动的感觉甩掉了。外婆家到了，这时我也已经气喘吁吁、满头大汗了，肚子也喊饿了。外婆已经煮好了饭等着我们来吃，我洗了洗手，立刻捧起饭碗吃起饭来。我觉得今天的饭菜特别香，比平时多吃了好多饭。我下定决心要把计划继续执行下去。

我觉得这样的生活非常棒，既锻炼了身体，保护了视力，又节约了资源，减少了二氧化碳的排放，多了一分新鲜的空气。从现在起，让我们开始我们快乐的低碳生活吧!

Since I was too shy to speak anything in front of people, my oral English was

Though the ban may cause some inconvenience to shoppers, it can help reduce the use of plastic bags when people have to pay for them. Besides, the ban, in away, can promote public awareness of environmental protection.

With the development of science and technology,global warming is becoming the focus of human beings.Some measures should be taken to protect our planet.

To begin with,its essential to save energy because of limited natural resources.For instance,turn off water tap after washing hands and turn off lights immediately if there is no person in the room.Whats more,wed better go out on foot or by bike,instead of using vehicles in order to reduce carboemission,which is also good to our health.Besides,we are supposed to reduce waste,and reuse what we can be recycled.Plus,no littering and planting more trees are good ways to beautify our environment.
