教育要发展，教师是关键。教育事业的改革发展要坚持以人为本，以人为本体现在两个主体地位:一是教育要以育人为本，学生是教育的主体;二是办学要以教师为本，教师是办学的主体。教师在传播人类文明、启迪人类智慧、塑造人类灵魂、开发人力资源方面发挥着重要的、关键的作用。教师是社会主义事业建设者和接班人的培育者，是青少年学生成长的引路人。没有高质量的教师就没有高质量的教育，没有高质量的教育就没有高质量的人才。尊重劳动、尊重知识、尊重人才、尊重创造，首先就要尊重教师，关心教师的发展，重视教育队伍的建设。我们党的几代领导集体对教师都给予了高度的重视。伟人说过:“教师是人类灵魂的工程师”。

一个学校能不能为社会主义建设培养合格的人才，培养德智体全面发展、有社会主义觉悟的有文化的劳动者，关键在教师。教师是学生增长知识和思想进步的导师，他的一言一行，都会对学生产生影响，一定要在思想政治、道德品质、学识学风上全面以身作则，自觉率先垂范，这才能真正为人师表。在全国加强和改进未成年人思想道德建设工作会议上提出，广大教师要为人师表，注重师德修养，以高尚的情操教书育人，注重素质教育和德育工作，充分发挥其在未成年人思想道德建设中的重要作用。重温和学习我们党几代领导人的讲话精神，我更加深切地认识到，教育事业发展，关键在于教师。

In daily life we are often faced with choices.More often than not,we have to make cardinal decisions indepentently.This moment is very important for everyone to go through.

In order to make a decision that we will not regret,we should bear these two principles in mind:thinking before acting,and never missing any opportunities that arise.On one hand,we should have an apparent,objective judgment about ourselves while maintaining a clear idea about the world around us.On the other hand,we should also think about opportunity.Many people may not quite agree with this and think that opportunity is so rare that only the luckiest people come across it.However,opportunity is open to everyone and one should make good use of it when confronted with it.One should take advantage of it just like the proverb states:“Opportunities are only from the prepared minds.”

So when one is faced with choices the next time,remember that using the mind and taking advantage of good opportunities will pave the way to success.

Free Admission to Parks

To encourage people to go outside and relax, a mounting number of parks offer free admission now. People benefit from it, especially during these tough economic times. With free entry, more people will have the opportunity for affordable vacations for families, taking pleasure in the natural landscape.

Fresh air and landscapes in parks are good for people. However, too many people

flocking into parks might not be so good for the parks.

For example, some visitors leave their garbage behind, which may cause environmental pollution. And people’s barbeques and stamping will also bring damage to the grassland and other greeneries in parks.

As a university student, I’m in favor of free admission to parks. Free entry to parks not only saves people’s expenditure, but also makes things fairer — people like the poor and students can go to parks frequently as well. On the other hand, visitors should be informed to preserve the environment while enjoying the beauty of the nature.

我们中许多人总是喜欢把爱国挂在嘴边，说自己有多爱国，但如果有人问我：“你要怎么热爱你的祖国？”我也很迷茫，不知如何回答。

寒假的一天，当我来到了天安门广场－—这个全世界最大的城市广场上身临其境地感受了那激动人心的升旗仪式时，我找到了那苦苦寻觅的答案。

6：00的天安门广场，夜色还没有散去，天空中纷纷扬扬地飘着朵朵雪花，凌晨的气温大概有零下10度。可我和爸爸妈妈爷爷奶奶早已从被窝里爬起来，来到了天安门广场。广场上早已聚集了来自五湖四海的不少游客。凛冽的寒风无孔不入地钻进了我的身体，我裹紧了羽绒服不停地跺着脚，因为我的脚被冻得生疼。我不停地对着戴着手套的双手呵气，可手还是冻得失去了感觉，好像早已不是自己的。我抬眼望去，虽然等待的人们都被冻得瑟瑟发抖，但大家都无丝毫的怨言。

7：20，仪仗队进入广场，7：25，升旗仪式正式开始……

当身着戎装的护卫队员们迈着整齐划一、刚劲有力的步伐，庄严肃穆地走向护旗台时，当五星红旗冉冉上升时，当雄壮的国歌气势恢宏地奏起时，当人们昂首挺胸专注地演唱时，我的心中充满了激动和自豪，全身的热血都沸腾了澎湃了！望着这鲜艳的五星红旗，我仿佛看到了战争中那猛烈的炮火，看到了革命先辈们英勇杀敌的身姿，看到了1949年10月1日，新中国的的国旗——五星红旗在空中徐徐上升的情景……我仿佛听见了英雄们英勇就义时不屈的呐喊声，听见了中华人民共和国宣布成立时庄严的宣告声，听见了中国人民当家做主时排山倒海般的欢呼声……

泪眼婆娑间，我看见，爷爷奶奶早已是老泪纵横。那一瞬间，我突然间恍然大悟，我明白了肩上所担负的重任！是啊，历史的车轮滚滚而过，弹指间，沧桑巨变，65年来东方巨龙不断腾飞，这个神奇的、有着五千年文明的东方国度日益强盛。作为新时期少年一代，作为祖国的接班人，我们拥有一个共同的名字叫“中国”。我们是中国的未来，是强大后的中国崭新的一代，从我们踏进学堂的那一天起，建设祖国的重任就已经扛在了我们的肩上。知耻而后进，努力学习文化知识，让古老的中国永远屹立在太阳升起的东方，是我们奋斗的目标，革命先烈们抛头颅洒热血的精神是指引我们前行的方向。

国旗冉冉上升着，仿佛在拥抱蓝天，那一抹鲜血似的红在湛蓝的映衬下显得更加光辉耀眼。在它到达旗杆顶点的一瞬间，东方射出了万道金光，一轮红日冲破了清晨的薄雾，跃出了地平线……

今天，真是个好日子！相信，有了我们这一代青少年的努力，祖国的明天会更好！

The thankful great universe provides the environment of existence for us

and give us sunlight, air, water and everything in keeping with us existence of

space, bring storm to let us accept to toughen for us, bring to us mysterious

let us look for. The thankful parents give us the life, make us feel the

merriment of the human life, feel the genuine feeling of the human life, feel

the comity of the human life, feel happiness of the human life, also feel

hardships and pain and sufferings of the human life! The thankful teacher works

with diligence and without fatigue everyday of teach, give us knowledge ability,

and put on the wing which flies toward the ideal for us. The thankful classmate

and friend grow up with us and let us no longer stand alone in the itinerary of

life. The thankful our country provides us with free books, dormitory and food.

Whenever it is, we should keep a thankful heart towards everything existed. Only

thus, can we become a useful man.
