Aimed at providing a platform where students can have a chance to exchange and make use of their books, the annual campus book fair will soon be held in our school. The fair will attract a huge crowd from the entire school, who are to sell, purchase and exchange their second-hand books with their peers.

As a regular visitor, I’ve found myself increasingly attracted by the fair. For one thing, the fair exhibits books of hundreds of types on diverse topics, motivating us to further develop our reading habits and help to broaden our horizons. For another, most books are sold at a lower price than what the bookstores offer.

Last weekend, I took part in the school trip and went to HouHai lake. It not only made us relax but also brought happiness to us.

We took the bus to the lake. As soon as we arrived there, we climbed the drum tower and looked at the whole city and many hutong. Then we took a little boat to ride on the lakewhich is the most beautiful lake I have ever seen, meanwhile, we enjoyed the beautiful lake and the great sunshine. We also visited many places of interest. Learning English was exciting and the teachers were very friendly and helpful. This camp was a real life-changing experience that I will never forget.

Last Saturday I joined a voluntary activity which was organized by the students union of our school. My classmates and I took a bus and went to the Animal Rescue Center in our city, where some stray dogs and cats are kept. As soon as we arrived, the workers told us how these animals were collected and what they did to help them. Then we were divided into small groups and helped them clean the cages. We were given some food to feed these animals.

I learned a lot from this activity. Animals need our care and attention, so we should devote our time to taking care of them.

When it comes to a biography ,I can even speak to the great person as if he stood towards me. Don’t always regard reading as tools to prepare for exams or show off how knowledgeable the person is.

In order to make our city cleaner and more beautiful, the young volunteers of our school went to the Peoples Park this morning and offered our help.

Some took care of the flowers and bushes, and persuaded people to keep off the grass. Around the tiger den, one group kept order to prevent accidents from happening. At the aquarium, another group worked as guides and advised visitors not to smoke. When some of us were doing cleaning, an old man praised us and said, "Well done, young fellows!"
