I am a 10 years old boy. Smart and handsome. I am proud of myself. Because

I can get perfect scores in Chinese, math and English. It is not good enough, I

am also proud of being an elder brother. That is a Friday evening, my baby

brother was crying all the time. My parents were both cooking for dinner.

I said to my mum; let me look after this little thing. My mum said, “are

you sure you can?” “Yes, believe me I can.” I answered. Then mum went to the

kitchen. I went towards my baby brother. “Oh baby, don’t cry. I will sing a song

for you…” I carried him and sing songs for him. After a while, he was asleep. I

was so tired. My parents were happy and praised me a good boy. This is my first

time to look after my baby brother and I feel proud of myself.

Today was the second day of our Hong Kong visit. I was very happy as

yesterday. But I felt tired a lot. I didn’t want to stay at guesthouse, so I

planted to go window-shopping with my parents in Times Square. There were many

kinds of goods, but you could choose the one you liked best easily。Also, there

were many designer-label stores in Times Square, such as

DNKY、MAXMARA、MAX&CO、BOSS and so on. Among others, there was a famous

bookstore called PAGEONE.At last, I bought a beautiful skirt(你好像是女的吧)and some

books。Then I was exhausted but I didn’t care in the slightest(可以换成not at all

)。

今天是我们香港之旅的第二天。我和昨天一样开心，但是我感到有点累了。我不想呆在宾馆里面，所以我打算和我的父母在“时代广场”去逛街。这里有各种各样的商品，但是你可以轻松的找到你最喜欢的。同样，这里面有许多的品牌店在“时代广场”，例如DNKY、MAXMARA、MAX&CO、BOSS等等。最值得一提的是，这里有一家著名的书店叫PAGEONE.。最后我买了一件漂亮的裙子和一些书。我已经筋疲力尽了但是我一点都不在乎。

For example, we will eat mooncake in Mid-autumn Festival and have dragon boat races in the Dragon Boat Festival and eat zongzi. But in some extend, we celebrate all the festivals in the same way. Every family will have a big meal with their family. It is a time for family gathering. No matter what kind of celebrating way for a festival, it is the time to enjoy life.

不同的国家有不同的风俗习惯和不同的节日庆祝方式。在我们中国，我们有各种各样的节日，而庆祝它们的方式是不一样的。例如，我们会在中秋节吃月饼、在端午节赛龙舟、吃粽子。但从某种程度上说，我们都是以同样的方式来庆祝所有的节日。每家每户都会和家人一起吃大餐。这是属于家庭相聚的时间。无论用什么样的方式来庆祝，这都是享受生活的时刻。

我生长在幸福又快乐的家庭，有和蔼可亲的父母，和一个读高二的姐姐，每天一起听音乐，不会的功课，姐姐会教我。父亲在做手表的零件，母亲是家庭主妇，家庭很好，天天都很快乐，在父母天天的照顾下，我逐渐长大、懂事，天天享受着美好的生活。 我的嗜好很少：弹钢琴、吹陶笛、听音乐，我常利用晚上来弹钢琴，虽然我弹得不好，但我却很快乐，因为钢琴可以陶治我的性情，培养我的信心、耐心。 我的个性是：我常常会发脾气，但是我知道发脾气，不但对身体有极大的害处、有碍健康，还会被别人认为这人修养不到家，是位莽夫，所以想处处受到尊敬，就须 有温和的个性，人活在事上与宇宙比起来实在太短暂、太渺小，所以我们应痛痛快快的过日子，不要有不悦之感，因为知足常乐。 每一个人都会有自己的抱负，我的抱负很小，想当钢琴老师，但是又想当一位护士，救救国家的公民，我希望在社会上做个好公民，站在自己的岗位，为人类做好事、回报父母。

北京的故宫是个美丽的大皇宫。故宫也叫作“紫禁城”。这里居住过24个明清两代的皇帝呢！故宫的整个建筑金碧辉煌，庄严华丽，被誉为世界五大宫之一。

当我进去后，首先展现在我眼前的是坤宁宫。坤宁宫是皇妃住的地方，这里风景优美，绿草如茵，繁花似锦。故宫的宫殿建筑是中国现存最大、最完整的古老建筑，总面积达到72万多平方米，殿宇宫室有9000万多间，极为壮观。

穿过书斋就到了乾清宫，这是皇上上早朝的地方，乾清宫的正前方摆着一张镀金龙椅。龙椅上刻着许多龙，有的双龙戏珠，有的互相缠绕，真是惟妙惟肖。我抬头往上一看，墙上有一块大大的匾，匾上写着“正大光明”四个大字，仿佛这四个大字是告诫大臣们：“凡是做事，都要正大光明地做。”我站在这中间，也仿佛看到当时的皇上和大臣们商议朝政时的气势。

走出正门，我再一次遥望这座古老的宫殿，气魄宏伟令人赞叹不已！故宫真美啊！
