如今社会，乱砍伐树木的现象极以常见，砍了木，做一次性筷子，一次性的物品，有多少衣识之士一直在倡议：要保护树木，可是又有多少人认真地去做了呢？要知道，据统计，一天之内，就有几亿棵大树被砍倒，被运往工厂加工成木头铅笔、家具、地板等等。我曾经在网络上查阅过资料，各种以树木被加工成物品的，大大小小加起来，足有一万多种呢！

在木制品中，最值得一说的是一双小小的筷子，这小小的筷子是方便个人、危害后代的，它就是人类滥乱滥伐的一个缩影。

乱砍伐树木，会造成一系列的自然灾害，会造成溪水断流，水井干了，庄稼枯萎的现象，所以，我们在现在起要敲响保护树木，保护环境的警钟。

从这幅图中，我联想到了很多事情，保护树木，爱护每一片绿地、每一束花草、每一片树林要像爱亲人一样爱它们，还要爱我们的母亲一样爱地球，因为保护树木，刻不容缓。

我们这里是旱灾，但我看新闻和报纸上说福建广洲一带又暴雨成灾，山洪暴发。这就是因为我们破坏森林，过度乱砍树木，才会发生现在的事情。

如果我们的森林多，树木多，它就会给我们提供足够的氧气，能够给我们调节气温，那样我们就不会干旱了。它巨大的根系交差盘结在一起，保护了水土的流失。那样就不会山洪暴发了。

但是人们没有这么做，他们把砍了的树木拿来做成一双双一次性的筷子，做成一根根串羊肉串的杆子，剃牙的牙签……一棵棵一百多年的大树，就被人们砍了，一百多年呀！它生长得那么慢，却毁灭得这么快……
