The day and season perpetuate a miraculous, historical event as an annual presence that challenges an often rough, cruel, and egotistical creature — the human being — to become open and amenable to their Creator’s vision. 秋天一到，毛豆就迫不及待地披上了绿色的衣服，乐得咧开了嘴。将整个的毛豆一只只丢进水里煮煮，加点盐，待毛豆熟了就捞上来，便是一盘可口的餐前点心了。拿起一只毛豆，咬一口，毛豆荚里边的“小豆豆”们都像玩滑滑梯般“骨碌骨碌”地滑入我的口腔，润滑粉嫩的口感还带着锅里的余热，真是中秋佳节不可少的一道美食啊！

虽然全是英语，我还是能听得懂，并且一节课进行的非常顺利。

王老师还与我们做了一个小游戏。这个游戏的规则是：老师大声说单词，我们就小声说单词；老师小声说单词，我们就大声说单词。

有新进行的非常顺利，都的同学们哈哈大笑，我也在其中找到了无限的乐趣。

除了这个小游戏，王老师还给我们带来了一个抢答游戏，用到的词语都是本节课所学到的，让我们说出这些词的反义词，想到就立刻站起来说。

我们也都非常积极，都站起来抢答，有时候一下子站起来一半多的同学，而我也站起来很多次。

时间飞逝，不知怎的，不一会儿就下课了，我还没有上够这节课呢！

我最喜欢的就是这节课了，因为这节课气氛活跃，老师呢，既漂亮又和蔼，而且还很幽默，这那倒不是很好的一节课吗？

时间可以没收我一些记忆，但它，没收不了，它就是端午节。因为在那一天，有美味的粽子，有屈原浓浓的爱国之情……在战国时期，楚国大夫屈原因苦劝楚王无果，报国无望，忧愤而投江自尽了。楚国百姓知道后十分悲痛，为了纪念这位成为清正的大夫，把糯米捏成团投入江中，希望鱼儿吃了糯米而不吃屈原的尸身，因怕蛟龙所食，就拿楝叶包裹好，拿绳子绑上。此做法逐渐演化成了“端午节”。

在端午节这一天，即使不到海边观看赛龙舟，也毫不沮丧，因为在家可以吃到如小山般的香喷喷的粽子。

奶奶可是包粽子能手。奶奶总是娴熟地把粽子卷成斗状，放入浸泡了3个小时的糯米，接着放入咸蛋，五花肉，红豆等，放好之后再盛一些糯米来填满，用粽叶包裹好，在用绳子捆紧打结，一个似小山的粽子就包好了。过了不久，就包了许多各形各色的粽子，接下来放入锅中蒸，蒸几个小时就好了！在粽子还没有煮好时，肚子早已饿得咕噜噜着在叫了，我拍拍肚皮，说：“肚子啊！你在忍一下哈，马上就煮好了，别在叫了。”，刚说完好像就更饿了，好像有许多虫子在咬我的胃，难受！

粽子一蒸好，我立马掀开锅盖，顿时空气中飘着让人无法抵御的棕香，就就连蒸粽子的开水好像在和我抗我抗议：“这么香的粽子不让我蒸久一会儿。”我早已盯得口水直流了，下意识就拿起一个最大最香的粽子，急忙解开绳子，帮它脱掉了它那翠绿的绿“衣裳”，再撒上似雪花一般的糖点缀着，一个美妙艺术作品就展示在眼前了……我迫不及待地咬下去，嗯，糯米的软、鸭蛋黄的咸、与糖的甜，这三者融合在一起，那味道妙不可言！我三两下就吃完了，回味无穷，唇齿留香，大大的满足！

在这个节日里，我不仅读懂了屈原的爱国情怀，也品尝到了美美的粽子味，如此节日，我怎能忘怀。

My favorite festival

Chinese people have been celebrating the Mid-Autumn festival and enjoying mooncakes for centuries. My favorite festival is Mid-Autumn Festival. We usually enjoy the moon on the night of that day. And we also eat fruits, peanuts and mooncakes. I like it because all my family members can sit together to have dinner and talk with each other. Changes in my hometown

My hometown has changed a lot in the last few years. In the past, there used to be old small houses in my hometown. The river in front of the village was very dirty, and smelt terrible.
