The Autumn Festival

Chinese celebrate the harvest on the Mid-Autumn Festival since ancient times. Its the same as the custom of Thanksgiving Day in North America. The Mid-Autumn is on August 15 according to lunar calendar, its the festival on which people will worship the moon.

The Mid-Autumn Festival was listed as one of Chinas cultural heritage in 2006 and was designed to be a public holiday in 2014. The moment I go to high school, I have made up my mind to study hard. It is

The 15-Day Celebration of Chinese New Year

The first day of the Lunar New Year is the welcoming of the gods of the heavens and earth.Many people abstain from meat on the first day of the new year because it is believed that this will ensure long and happy lives for them.

On the second day, the Chinese pray to their ancestors as well as to all the gods. They are extra kind to dogs and feed them well as it is believed that the second day is the birthday of all dogs.

The third and fourth days are for the sons-in-laws to pay respect to their parents-in-law.

The fifth day is called Po Woo. On that day people stay home to welcome the God of Wealth. No one visits families and friends on the fifth day because it will bring both parties bad luck.

On the sixth to the 10th day, the Chinese visit their relatives and friends freely. They also visit the temples to pray for good fortune and health.

The seventh day of the New Year is the day for farmers to display their produce. These farmers make a drink from seven types of vegetables to celebrate the occasion. The seventh day is also considered the birthday of human beings. Noodles are eaten to promote longevity and raw fish for success.

On the eighth day the Fujian people have another family reunion dinner, and at midnight they pray to Tian Gong, the God of Heaven.

祭红仪式过后，唱红、颂红文艺表演也相继拉开序幕，表演紧紧围绕“继承先烈志·圆我中国梦”主题，令在场人员热血沸腾，情绪高涨。稚嫩童声献辞《红军山上的丰碑》感心动耳、荡气回肠;情景剧《烈士墓前》情深意长、令人动容;中华传统经典传唱《尚读》悠扬婉转、沁人心脾;成人宣誓仪式慷慨激昂、催人奋进。“前进，前进，向前进，排山倒海不可阻挡;前进，前进，向前进，走向复兴创造辉煌。”当陵园上空响起齐唱《走向复兴》的歌声时，整个英烈祭奠活动掀起高潮。此时，每个人的脸上都写满刚毅与坚强，心中激荡着炽热的爱国之情，更加坚定信心，负重图强，憧憬中华民族伟大复兴的“中国梦”。

用祭红、唱红、颂红的方式缅怀革命先烈，追忆先烈的丰功伟绩，充分展示了红花岗儿女对革命先烈的崇敬、追思和缅怀，以及继承革命传统，以红军精神、长征精神、遵义会议精神为激励，推动红花岗区“全力追赶，力争超越，努力实现两个率先”目标的坚定决心。

绿色清明——寄追思·彰文明

据统计，我国每年在清明节期间用于祭祀焚烧的纸张就达千吨以上，“白色浪费”触目惊心，造成的环境污染更是背离传统文化、亵渎先人、毒化社会风气，与现代社会文明背道而驰。

思亲莫让烟尘扰，鲜花一束慰英灵。红花岗区结合“全国文明城市”创建、“多彩贵州·文明红花岗”行动开展，积极倡导广大市民登录中央文明网、央视网、中国未成年人网、校外教育网、未来网、中国家庭教育网等网站“网上祭英烈”链接，在网上敬献鲜花祭拜，撰写感言体会，表达对先烈的感恩和敬仰，进一步树立文明祭祀新理念、新风尚，过一个节俭环保、绿色低碳的清明节。

在学校，利用计算机网络课、班会课、活动课等时间，以“网上祭英烈·追寻中国梦”为主题，组织广大青少年登陆中央文明网“网上祭英烈”专题页面，以网上祭奠、网上献花、网上留言等形式，祭奠先烈，缅怀仁者，感恩志士，追思民族气节，增强爱党爱国意识，激发爱党爱国情感。通过“网上祭英烈”活动，引导和号召广大青少年慎终追远、民德归厚，立志为实现中华民族伟大复兴“中国梦”而努力学习、成长成材。

在社区，通过远程教育平台，组织社区党员和普通居民参与以“网上祭英烈·追寻中国梦”为主题的网上祭奠活动。随着清明将至，连日来，居民络绎不绝，社区还特意安排网络技术人员对居民进行解疑、协助和指导。在网络技术人员的指导下，居民通过网上的一鞠躬、献一束花、发表一篇感言，表达了自己对已故亲人和革命先烈的缅怀之情和崇敬之意。

在社会，宣传、文化、团委等部门积极发动和组织广大网民、志愿者进行网上祭奠，发表祭奠感言等，用文明、环保新型祭奠方式表达对先人的怀念之情。“网上祭英烈”活动既有创意，又富深意，贴近时代，贴近网民，尽管是虚拟的空间，但是人们能将真情流露出来，传递出去，就可以达到自我精神的激励与安慰，引得社会各界以及广大网民、志愿者踊跃参与。

截至目前，全区已有20多万人次参加了“网上祭英烈·追寻中国梦”活动，献花、留言达30多万条，目前活动仍在如火如荼进行中。

人文清明——传文化·扬精神

清明节凝聚着中华民族的民族精神和民族情感，承载着中华民族的文化血脉和思想精华。思念墙、追思卡、经典诵读、放飞心愿风筝、民俗文化表演和民间艺术展示……我们欣喜地看到，清明节的传统文化，正通过这种贴近生活、贴近时代、贴近群众的方式在红花岗区广泛传承和创新。

“清明时节雨纷纷，路上行人欲断魂。借问酒家何处有，牧童遥指杏花村”、“又是一年清明节，天沉沉，雨蒙蒙，飘落发丝间晶莹的水珠”……清明前夕，红花岗区各中小学、幼儿园以“传承民俗风·歌颂中国梦”为主题，开展了“清明经典集中诵读”活动。古典诗词的委婉意蕴、现代诗歌的磅礴大气，真切表达广大青少年对先辈的缅怀和追思之情，进一步感悟节日的文化内涵，领略传统文化的魅力。

城区各大市民广场竞相上演各种清明民俗活动，市民通过放风筝，将自己对已故亲人和革命先烈的哀思书写到风筝的翼面上，放飞风筝，放飞思念，抒发情感;赏析清明节诗文祭文，引导市民群众慎终怀远、缅怀先辈的高尚情结;插柳戴柳，以此祈盼家人健康、平安吉祥。“梨花风起正清明，游子寻春半出城”。清明节同样是亲近自然、感物惜春的时刻。广大市民群众纷纷在清明时节走出家门，赏心悦目于花开满枝、绚烂翻腾之间，流连忘返在花团锦簇、生趣活泼之中，尽情领略寻春、访春、踏青、游园的无限乐趣。这些活动不拘一格、层次多样，使清明成为一个更充实、更鲜明的综合体，赋予了清明节更多的人文情怀，揉入了普通市民群众对故人、对先烈的种种情思。据不完全统计，清明节期间有近10万市民参与到了各种民俗活动。

清明节是中国民众共享的文化，是中华民族的集体记忆。弘扬清明文化，传承民族精神，可以增加民众的文化认同意识，成为构建和谐社会的精神财富。

我国很多的传统节日，如春节、元宵节、清明节、中秋节……今天我就给大家说说端午节。

为什么端午节会在每年的阴历五月初五过呢？那是因为我国古代伟大的政治家、思想家屈原在这一天遭人迫害，被迫投江而死，人们为了纪念他，就将他投江死亡的这日定为“端午日”。

在我国，端午节这天有很多的民间习俗，包粽子是大家最喜欢的习俗，这天，一家人会围坐在一起包粽子，有说有笑，其乐融融，粽子熟了，大家又会坐在一起吃粽子，香喷美味的粽子香飘满了屋；赛龙舟也是我国端午节传统的节目，亲朋好友相伴而行，到江边观看龙舟比赛，看，一艘龙舟快速的驶过来了，激起了江边观赛人的热情，大家为它鼓掌加油。

在我的家乡，每到端午节，每家每户还会准备一些艾草，插在大门和窗户上，我问奶奶“为什么要在门上插草呢？”奶奶说“这是咱这的习俗，插上艾草，蚊虫蛇蚁就会远离咱家，让咱家人都健健康康的。”家里有小孩的，还会给小孩的衣服上挂上做的“五毒葫芦”，祈求保佑孩子健康。这些虽然只是一些习俗，但却在我们家乡形成了一种文化。

端午节虽然只是众多节日中的一个，却给我们带来了欢乐，也让我增长了知识，愿端午节的传统文化能够继续传承。
