转眼间，“五一”劳动节就要来了，我开始想怎么度过这个劳动节。最后，我想到了一个好主意：在家做一次大扫除。

五月一日到了，我吃完早餐后，就正式开始了大扫除活动。首先，我开始擦家具和玻璃了。我仔仔细细、认认真真地把家里从头到尾、从上到下地用抹布擦了一遍，抹布上粘满了灰尘。这下可把我累坏了，我满头大汗，上气不接下气。但我一想：“大扫除本来就很卖力，但如果我一下都坚持不住，那不是刚才做的也白费了吗?”做事要有始有终。于是我又开始扫地了。我连角落里也不放过，总算扫完了。仔细一想，还有房间忘记扫了，我进去，熟练地拿着扫把，慢慢地扫起来。就在我正握着扫把柄掏床底时，竟然发现了两只死蟑螂!可见我家有多脏。最后，我装了一桶水，洗了一下拖把，扭干水，开始拖地。我握着沉重的拖把，慢慢地从这边拖到那边，再从那边拖到这边。水干了，我又把拖把冲洗一遍。等我干完了全部的活，再看了看家里，和大扫除之前简直就是天壤之别啊!

这次大扫除之后，我知道了：“只要付出了，就会有收获。”

One Day of Mine

On May Day, my mother, father, my sister and me went to park to have a picnic, and then visited my grandma and grandpa.

At nine o’clock in the morning, we went to park for picnic. We took juice, cornflakes, apples, oranges, lollipops, bananas, ice creams, mangoes, and so on. I also took toys, such as doll, ball, balloon, skateboard and a kite.

At two o’clock in the afternoon, we went to visit my grandma and grandpa. I helped grandpa do some house work. My sister and me played skateboard and doll.

At eight o’clock in the evening, we went home, and played computer games for two hours and then went to bed.

I was very happy on May Day!

“五一”劳动节那天，我妈妈、爸爸、姐姐和我去公园野餐，然后去看望了爷爷和奶奶。

今天是五一放假的最后一天了，眼看美好的假期就要来了，可是，我觉得我的假期似乎没有那么美好了。

傍晚放学前边，语文老师来布置作业：两张报纸，把写字薄从二十四面写到四十面，整整十页，另加一篇作文。老师布置好作业，随口问我们作业多不多，我们连忙摇头摆手，齐声说“不多，不多!”有意见也不敢说，你知道这是为什么吗?这可有个小故事。

上上个礼拜一的下午，数学课上，实习老师带着我们做练习册，不知是哪几个学生在下面讲话，实习老师批评了几句，还是有说话的声音，老师气的脸都绿了，让班长把数学老师叫来。数学老师来到之后更加生气。因为老师弄不清到底是哪几位同学在说话，就把我们全班同学一起批评了一顿，然后给我们布置一大堆家庭作业：把第三单元学过的定义共十五条一个写十遍，一共一百五十遍。老师的话音刚落，我们就呆了，可是没有一个同学敢反驳。

那天晚上7：00到8：30我还要去文化局练琴，等我回到家，把作业写完，都十点多了。第二天，我一到学校，看到有很多同学还在补作业。上课前边，班主任老师来了，告诉我们数学老师昨天讲的是气话，同学们不要再写了。我们上课没有讲话的同学当然生气了，有种被耍的感觉，有的同学都很想扁老师。

经过那件事，我们知道了，如果惹恼老师，我们是没有好果子吃的。

关于五一国际劳动节

国际劳动节又称“五一国际劳动节”、“国际示威游行日”(International Workers Day或者May Day)，是世界上80多个国家的全国性节日。定在每年的五月一日。它是全世界劳动人民共同拥有的节日。1889年7月，由恩格斯领导的第二国际在巴黎举行代表大会。会议通过决议，规定1890年5月1日国际劳动者举行游行，并决定把5月1日这一天定为国际劳动节。中央人民政府政务院于1949年12月作出决定，将5月1日确定为劳动节。 1989年后，国务院基本上每5年表彰一次全国劳动模范和先进工作者，每次表彰3000人左右。

中国劳动节来由：

中国人民庆祝劳动节的活动可追溯至1918年。这一年，一些革命的知识分子在上海、苏州、杭州、汉口等地向群众散发介绍“五一”的传单。

首次纪念

1920年5月1日，《新青年》7卷6号“劳动节纪念号”出版。发表蔡元培“劳工神圣”的题词、孙中山“天下为公”的题词和李大钊的《“五一”运动史》、陈独秀的《上海厚生纱厂湖南女工问题》等文章。同时，还登载了《旅法华工工会简章》及唐山、山西、长江等地的劳动状况调查。

5月1日，北京、上海、广州、九江、唐山等各工业城市的工人群众浩浩荡荡地走向街市、举行了声势浩大的游行、集会。李大钊专门在《新青年》上发表了《“五一”运动史》，介绍“五一”节的来历和美法等国工人纪念“五一”的活动，号召中国工人把这年的“五一”作为觉醒的日期。陈独秀也为庆祝这个节日发表了《上海厚生纱厂湖南女工问题》一文，揭露资本家剥削工人剩余价值的真相。陈独秀又在上海船务栈房工界联合会作了《劳苦者的觉悟》的演说，阐明了“劳动创造世界”、“做工的人最有用最贵重”的观点。当天各地工人和知识分子共同集会。在上海，陈独秀指导下，5000多名工人召开了由中华全国工界协进会等7个团体联合筹备的世界劳动纪念大会，陈独秀当选筹备大会顾问。纪念会上，各界代表发表演说，工人提出8小时工作、8小时休息、8小时教育的"三八制"要求，并高呼"劳工万岁"、"中华工界万岁"等口号。会后，发表了上海工人宣言和答俄国劳农政府的通告。《新青年》纪念专号还刊登了李大创的《五一运动史》、、陈独秀的《劳动者底觉悟》、《上海厚生纱厂湖南女工问题》等重要文章，以及上海、北京、天津、武汉等十多个城市和地区工人现状的调查报告。在北京，李大钊领导了以北京大学为中心的纪念活动。北京大学学生在这一天罢课，《北京大学学生周刊》出版了"劳动纪念号"。学校内召开了500多名校工和学生参加的纪念大会，李大钊到会讲话。何孟雄等8名北大学生和一些青年外出宣传，散发《五月一日北京劳工宣言》，唤起工人为反对剥削、争取自身权利而斗争，被巡警拘捕。邓中夏到北京长辛店，向铁路工人散发《五月一日北京劳工宣言》并发表讲演。这是中国首次纪念“五一”国际劳动节的活动，也是中国历史上的第一个“五一”劳动节。

纪念歌曲

1921年“五一”前夕，在北京的共产主义小组成员邓中夏等人创办的长辛店劳动补习学校里，工人们学唱《五一纪念歌》。其歌词是：“美哉自由，世界明星，拼吾热血，为他牺牲，要把强权制度一切扫除净，记取五月一日之良辰。红旗飞舞，走光明路，各尽所能，各取所需，不分贫富贵贱，责任唯互助，愿大家努力齐进取。”这首雄壮有力的歌，是由长辛店劳动实习学校的教员和北京大学的进步学生共同创编而成的。

法定节日

新中国成立以后，中央人民政府政务院于1949年12月将5月1日定为法定的劳动节，全国放假一天。每年的这一天，举国欢庆，人们换上节日的盛装，兴高采烈地聚集在公园、剧院、广场，参加各种庆祝集会或文体娱乐活动，并对有突出贡献的劳动者进行表彰。

1999年9月18日，中国国务院发布《国务院关于修改〈全国年节及纪念日放假办法〉的决定》，第一次修订了1949年12月23日中国政务院发布的《全国年节及纪念日放假办法》，将每年春节、“五一”和国庆节法定节日加上调休，全国放假7天，形成了3个“黄金周”。

2007年12月14日，中国国务院第二次修订《全国年节及纪念日放假办法》，将春节的放假起始时间由农历年正月初一调整为除夕;“五一”由7天调整为3天，减少4天;清明、端午、中秋增设为法定节假日，各放假3天。五一黄金周也将成为历史。2008年起，五一黄金周变为五一3天小长假。

根据《国务院关于修改〈全国年节及纪念日放假办法〉的决定》，2008年“五一”国际劳动节：5月1日—3日放假，共3天。其中，5月1日为法定节假日，5月3日(星期六)为公休日，5月4日(星期日)公休日调至5月2日(星期五)，5月4日(星期日)上班。

根据《全国年节及纪念日放假办法》及国务院办公厅通知，2009年“五一”放假调休具体安排：5月1日至3日放假，共3天。其中，5月1日(星期五)为法定节假日，5月2日(星期六)、5月3日(星期日)为公休日，5月4日(星期一)上班。
