Im the only child in my family, the apple of my parents eyes. my mother

My father is the manager of a company and my mother is a teacher. they are

both well educated and do well in their jobs. they know that knowledge is power.

father often communicates with foreign friends and is good at english. i can

learn a lot from him, especially english. his oninion on education is as

advanced as that of my mothers. they often give me advice on my studies but

never interfere in them. they seldom force me to do what i dont like to. they

permit me to have different opinions. if something is good for me, they will

persuade me to do it as they want. many people of our age say that there is a

generation gap between their parents and them. however, it doesnt exist between

us.

My mother is a math teacher. she is very clever and good at teaching. she

can work out a problem within 10 minutes which would cost me 2 hours. i envy and

admire her. i want to be a math teacher like her.

Im lucky to have such enlightened parents. im lucky to have been brought

up in such a happy family.

又是一年一度的中秋节了。这是我过的的第九个中秋节。我的表姐和表妹们都来那里过中秋节了。这个中秋节我和表姐们一齐去放灯笼。

傍晚时分，我们看到了许多人摆出了各式各样的灯笼，有喜羊羊与灰太狼的，有果宝特攻的，还有愤怒的小鸟的，真是琳琅满目，真想此刻就选一个漂亮的灯笼玩一玩。

吃过晚饭，灿烂的太阳已经落下了山岗，月亮姐姐已经披着银色大衣上了“岗位”，我和表姐们一齐冲出家门，异口同声的说道：“我们最后能够放灯笼了！”

街上十分热闹，几乎每一个小孩都提着灯笼，每一个小孩脸上都洋溢着幸福的笑容。我们也一样是那么的开心。大家都选了一个自己喜欢的灯笼，我选的是愤怒的小鸟的灯笼。点好蜡烛以后，我们各自提着自己的灯笼跑出了家门。起初我们跑得很快，之后思考到灯笼的“生命”安全，我们渐渐慢了下来，最后我们停了下来，不跑了。平常我们出去玩都是走大路，在灯光的照耀下，我们都转成了一个个“小银人”了，但我们这次是走黑黑的小道，我们又转成了“小黑人”了，但在灯笼的照耀下，我们又转成了“小黄人”了！但是没过一会儿，蜡烛就没了，我们只好提着一个“空灯笼”回家了。

转眼间已经到了11点了，我带着甜美的笑容进入了梦乡。

一个人静静地坐在书桌前，望着照片上老师那和蔼可亲的脸，心中泛起阵阵涟漪。因为有了您，就有了一个特别的节日－－教师节。从此，我们就多了一份对您深深的敬意。是您播种未来，是您点燃我理想之火，是您在我心里播下了快乐的火种，让我感受到的一切欢乐因老师您的爱而起。在我快要站立不住的时候，您给我一个鼓励的眼神。在我悲伤的时候，您点起我的希望之火；在我迷茫的时候，您为我照亮前进的道路！虽然我们只相处了一年！但那些难忘的日子呀！是您－－老师，让我学会如何面对困难，如何感受生活，如何珍惜幸福，如何自我发展。

Clothes are so significant in our daily life that we cant live without

them, because they are useful in many ways. For example, clothes could keep us

warm in winter and protect our skin from the heavy sunshine in summer. Whats

more, Clothes make a man just as a saddle makes a horse. Everyday we wear

different kinds of clothes to make ourselves more attractive. Suppose if we wore

the same clothes all the time, our life would be so boring.

As far as Im concerned, I know some kinds of clothes, such as formal

clothes, casual clothes, evening wears and uniforms. In different situations, we

wear different clothes. For example, we wear formal clothes to go to meetings;

we wear casual clothes at home; we wear evening wears to attend evening parties,

and we wear uniforms at school or at work.

Nevertheless, I prefer casual clothes, because they are comfortable. And

they are also very cheap. When I wear casual clothes, I can do a lot of sports.

It’s so cool. By the way, red is my favorite color, since Ive got a white skin.

If Im in red, Ill look kind and friendly. So I always buy red clothes when

shopping.

中秋节到了！月亮圆圆的！家家的灯光都很亮，周围的环境非常的暗，但到处都有人。欢笑声早已打破了寂寞的环境！

中秋节是农历八月十五日，是我国传统的中秋节，也是我国仅次于春节的第二大传统节日。也称仲秋节、团圆节、八月节等，是我国汉族和大部分少数民族的传统节日。每到中秋家家户户都吃团圆饭，让许多亲朋好友在于今日又聚集在了一起，这是一件多么令人激动的事情。这让许多在外地的人们又回到了温暖的家，享受到了家的温馨自古至今有多少客居他乡的游子常年在外这使得人们常用月圆月缺来形容人们的”悲欢离合”这又让多少人痛心！唐代诗人李白的“举头望明月，低头思故乡”，杜甫的“露从今夜白，月是故乡明”，宋代王安石的“春风又绿江南岸，明月何时照我还”等诗句，这都是千古绝唱！许多游子不都是用月来表达对家乡的深深的感情、对亲人的关怀与思念吗！

月饼也是团圆的象征。苏东坡有诗写道：“小饼如嚼月，中有酥和饴”，清朝杨光辅写道：“月饼饱装桃肉馅，雪糕甜砌蔗糖霜”。可见当时的月饼已经是具有一定意义的”饼”和”月”了。也许我们现在吃月饼是为了庆祝胜利的喜悦吧！也有人说中秋节是丰收的季节，是农民们体验享受丰收的喜悦与高兴吧！中秋节是快乐的，是团圆的象征，是充满喜悦的象征，让我们共同欢过这个有”意义”的”中秋节！”吧！

Today is sunday. i got up very early in the morning. after breakfast i went to the bookstore. i wanted to buy a book robinson crusoe. i looked for the book for quite some time but couldn‘t find it. the shop assistant then came to help me. i was very glad that i got the book at last.

in the afternoon i called on my friend wang lin. he just came back from beijing. we talked a lot.

in the evening i watched an interesting play on tv. i enjoyed it very much. i had a winderful time.

今天是星期日，早上我起得很早。早饭后我去书店，我想买一本《鲁滨逊漂流记》。我找了很长时间也没 有发现，店员过来帮我，我很高兴终于找到了那本书。

下午我去了我的朋友王林家，他刚从北京回来，我们谈了很多。

晚上我在电视上看了一个非常有趣的电视剧，我非常喜欢它。我过得很愉快。

When I was in high school, I felt so bored about the English class, because I did not understand it. Miss Li was my English teacher, she found my attitude to her class. One day, when the class was over, she asked me to her office. She did not blame me for sleeping in her class, instead, she smiled and asked me the opinion about her class. I said her class was a little  boring and I thought she would be angry. Miss Li smiled and agreed with me. She asked me to give some opinion. I was so surprised that she was so kind. Miss Li improved her class and I became very active.

下雨了，只能坐公交，从公交车上下来，顺着人行的台阶边缘走，不易走太快，会掉下来。从前一棵行道树走到后一棵，每当到行道树旁边就很容易掉下来，只好给它让位了，谁让“大人不记小人过”呢?呵。下来后却像是赌气似得不愿上去了，左顾右盼，望能找到一个让我重新拾回童心的。

啊!我看到了，那一朵朵小小的白，咦～怎么，那花瓣好奇怪啊，怎么会是皱的呢。而且还是纹路清晰的皱。那种不显老态的美映在雨天的雾里，好生雅态。它长在错乱杂生的藤蔓上，显得那么娇小可人，姿态横生。在感叹之余，我还得回家呢。于是不得不停止了欣赏。可当我走过一条马路，又来到了由梧桐做行道树的街道，梧桐真高啊，只是叶片还没长出来，不能遮阳。于是我又将目光降低了些，我看到那被梧桐遮蔽下的小树，叫不出名的小树。但是它也很奇怪，它的叶子是往下长得，叶尖整个朝下，两边的叶瓣随中间的茎脉向里合拢，有一种视觉冲击，不知用这种词来形容对不对:新生的颓靡之态。呵，还真有些奇怪呢。哇!我看到了什么，是蜘蛛，它在吐丝，我刚刚怎么没发现，原来它是翠绿色的。头部有些红，尾部又有些黄色，但身体上的翠绿色真是让人看了便不愿离开视线。真的是太好看了。那是通透的绿色，纯粹的绿色。比翡翠或绿宝石更好看的绿色。哎，以前我怎么没发现绿色好看呢。真是眼拙啊。观察了许久，才发现已经花了不少时间了，只好加快脚步向家赶去，可上天真是眷顾我啊，竟然又让我看到了一个小动物，是一只黑色的多足虫。它爬的不是很快，也许是中午吃多了吧，我用雨伞去引导它，它却不中计，顺着缝就溜走了。

真是可爱。不能多留了，得赶紧回家了。就不和你多玩了。回到家回想起这些个可爱动人的花草，动物，真是越想越开心呢，还希望能再和它们偶遇呢。

日记是用来叙述一天中发生的有意义事件的文体。

第一，注意日记的格式：一般是左上角写当天的日期，右上角写当天的天气情况(cloudy/clear/windy/rainy/fine/snowy…)。日期通常采用两种写法：一种是按“月、日、年”顺序；另一种是按“日、月、年”的顺序。注意要在年份之前有一个逗号，而且月份通常可用缩写词（如：Jan.,Feb.,Mar.等）。如果需要写星期，可将其写在日期的前面或后面。如：Monday,May15th,2008或May15th,2008,Monday

第二，抓准日记的时态：日记记叙的时间通常是在当天的下午或晚上，因此所用的时态多为过去时态。但应灵活掌握，如果日记叙述天气、描写景色或为了描写生动，也可用现在时。

第三，日记一般按事情发生的先后顺序记述，所以常需借助一些表示先后顺序的词语，如atfirst,then,lateron,afterwards,finally,atlast等。一定要注意句与句、段与段之间的连接和过渡，适当使用一些过渡词语使其连接紧凑、过渡自然。

第四，确立日记的中心要点，尽量突出主题，可以通过对某个细节、某个侧面的描写来突出主题，千万不要写成一个流水帐。

A Visit to the Flower Show

Last week Nature Park held a flower show. I went to visit it with my friends. I was very glad to see so many beautiful flowers in the park. I was really amazed to see a sea of colourful

flowers. They told me that some rare flowers came from Taiwan. Thousands of people stopped and watched them carefully. I took many pictures there. Taiwan has always been a part of our country. I am sure sooner or later we can go there to see many more beautiful flowers. What great fun it will be.

一轮相思独悬于墨蓝色的长空中，他洒下的层层银灰就如思念一般浓厚压得人喘不过气来。过了多少个中秋了，却是第一次在异乡过一个没有亲人相伴的中秋，恍然间明白了王维“独在异乡为异客每逢佳节倍思亲”的感受。

离开了家，离开了生我育我的父母，以前的那些不在意的唠叨已然觉得是那样的奢侈。

还记得，曾经对他们的话不理不睬。

八月十五，在这个中国传统的节日里，本该是人月两团圆的，但为了求学我和亲人两地相隔，惟有在电话中倾诉衷肠。一句“爸、妈，我好想你们”，不知道承载了多少在外求学远离父母的学子的共同心声，不知道让多少听到这句话的人泪留满面。

也许我们只能拿苏轼的“人有悲欢离合，月有阴晴圆缺”来安慰自己，但亲情岂是一句诗能够掩埋的。天地之大德、父母之大恩是我们一辈子也无法忘怀的，是我们一辈子也无法还清的债。

中秋佳节，赏月吟诗。我也借诗一首凭月寄思，了表慰藉。

I like dogs, because they are man s good friends. They can do many helpful things to us, such as guarding our houses, greeting guests, helping the police, and so on. Some trained dogs can even lead the blind people and save people s lives. So they re treated as our family members. I hope someday dogs will be in great harmony with human-beings.

我喜欢狗，因为它们是人类的好朋友。他们可以为我们做很多有用的事情，如，保护房子，问候客人，帮助警方等等。一些受过训练的狗甚至可以引导盲人、拯救人们的性命。所以他们都被当做是我们的家庭成员。我希望有一天狗能与人类和谐共处。

Sunrise at Sea

I would often get up early to watch the sunrise when it was not yet quiet light and all was quiet except for the droning of the ship engine.

The sky was pale with a bluish blue. Soon a streak of pink dawn broke over the horizon，expanding gradually and becoming brighter and brighter. Knowing that the sun was about to rise, I had my eyes fixed on the distant edge of the sea.

As expected, the sun soon appeared revealing half of its face, which was very red but not bright It kept rising laboriously bit by bit as if weighted down with a heavy burden on its back until，after breaking through the rosy clouds;it completely emerged from the sea aglow with a lovely red. Then，before I knew it, the dark red orb began to shine blazingly, dazzling my eyes until they stung and all of a sudden lighting up the surrounding cloud.

Sometimes，hidden by the clouds, the sun nonetheless shed its rays straight onto the sea water, making it difficult for me to distinguish between the sky and the sea because what I saw in front of me was nothing but a wide expanse of brilliant light.

Sometimes, with thick layers of dark clouds hanging in the sky, the sun was hardly visible to the naked eye. But its radiance managed to show through the dark clouds to edge them with golden lace. Then, after gradually breaking through the tight encirclement, it came into full view and even dyed the dark clouds purple or scarlet. At the moment, apart from the sun，the clouds and the seawater, I too was luminous.

Wasnt that a marvelous spectacle?

在八月十五这月色如昼的夜晚月饼专卖市场的柜台上传来了叽叽咕咕地争论声。

"瞧瞧我是多么的时尚，穿着巧克力夹克套着奶油鞋子多神气！你们哪一个比得过我"元祖巧克力奶油月饼扯着嗓子喊道。元祖雪月饼滔滔不绝地嚷着；"我和你虽然是一个牌子，但我可比你美多了，看我有象调皮的小星星似的外形，我有一层又白又嫩的皮肤里面。还有象白雪一般的冰激淋呢！"元祖雪月饼一说就说个没完没了。最土最俗最普通不过了的月饼吞吞吐吐、结结巴巴难为情地说："虽然我—我样子没你们漂亮。但是我很便宜味道也—也也不错。"不知道它是很内向的人还以为它有口吃呢，因为它很土里土气，所以别的月饼看都没看它一眼。这时维生素月饼嬉皮笑脸油腔滑调地说："月饼里数我营养最好，我肚子里面藏着维生素abcde！"

维生素月饼刚想称霸，突然深藏不露的月饼之王—海鲜天价月饼语惊四座出口成章："你们都瞧见我这威猛的身躯了吗？你们都嗅到了我的肉香了吗？你们都知道了我是哪级人物了吧"月饼们齐声说：瞧见了嗅到了也明白了你太伟大了。"月饼王问："那是哪一级人物啊"月饼们纷纷议论起来你一句我一言有的说："你的事我咋知道。"有的说："我为什么要知道你的事"天价月饼听了托着脑袋大叫道："哎呀跟这些蠢驴在一起简直是我的耻辱。"

这时一位身穿华丽衣裙的女顾客来买月饼，天价月饼想：她这么有钱一定是来买我的。巧克力月饼想：她这么瘦一定是来买我的。雪月饼想：她的皮肤这么黑一定是来买我的。维生素月饼想；这位顾客脸色不太好一定是来买我的。可是令这些月饼意想不到的是女顾客说："我要两盒简装火腿月饼。"所有的月饼都怀疑自己的耳朵出了毛病，简装月饼打起进精神焕然一新得意洋洋地走了。所有的月饼眼睛瞪得象鸡蛋一样大……

简装月饼语不惊人土里土气却原来有如此魅力。啊！古人说得一点也不错：人不可貌相海水不可斗量……

月，世世代代，一如既往的挂在夜空中，如此耀眼，如此迷人。

是啊，今晚是中秋啊!我早已盼望已久的月，此时如一轮金莹的玉盘，将人间大地笼罩在一片浅浅的金色光辉之中，月让所有的事物都像注入了情感一般，一切的事物都仿佛向月低声诉说自己无尽的心事。

"University", a beautiful word, which makes me have much imagination. As

the name "ivory tower" given by people, its a good place to live and study. In

the ivory tower, romantic love just like cherry blossom smiles happily in the

campus.

Many girls have the sweet dream that one day there is a boy who stands

below the windows loud annoucing "I love you", holding a bound of flowers in his

hands. But the most important things is that I can receive the advanced

education systematically, listen to the senior professors experience, attend

many dourses of lectures. To my pleasant, I can be free to spend a whole day in

the library and read every book that Id like, which makes me find the knowledge

is vast considerably. All these let me climb up in the field of science. At the

我们班是一个优秀的班集体，不仅团结友爱而且充满知识的气氛，这是我对小班长在内的班干部培养起来的。我现在担任的班就是我两年前接任的，记得我刚接一年级后，就有一位同学一起了我的注意，她 长着大大的眼睛，就象希望工程救助失学儿童宣传画上的那个大眼睛的姑娘，我们班同学说她的眼睛象大金鱼的眼睛。她就是我们班现在的小班长——谷紫薇。她 的名字虽然和《还珠格格》离的紫薇的名字一样，但性格却跟他她迥然不同，人可比她机灵多了，办事也干净利索，对我的眼神也是心神领会，而且我还发现她特别能带动我们班的同学的情绪。若回答问题是，她声音洪亮，全班同学也特别响亮：她声音低沉，全班同学回答起来也有气无力。他活泼好动，课下同学们都愿意和她一起玩，她组织的小游戏也是有声有色。因此，我觉得我上门把那的班长非她莫属。

刚开始的时候，在他的配合下，班里的秩序很好，学习气氛很浓。可是不久，他的小毛病也渐渐的暴露出来。又一次，我发现教室理由一张废纸，眉头一皱，：“这是谁仍的呀？”我话刚说完，他第一个跑过啦赶紧把纸捡起来扔到废纸篓离。“是那个同学扔的，应该让他自己捡起来》”听到这，她有赶紧把废纸筐里拿出来，放回原处。还有一次，她上厕所，让同学给他拿手纸，下课了，操场上热，指使同学给她拿太阳帽。更可气的是，放学了，别的同学忘东走，她忘系走，走了几十米，让人家回来给她系鞋带，每次看到这我都会教育她，她连忙点头承认错误，可是小毛病依旧未改。

又一次，我因事没有到，她拿着教鞭，背着小手，在教室里踱步，对同学的行为之手划脚，俨然是一位神气的小老师，谁要是稍稍一动，他的教鞭便“啪”的一声，落到同学身上，同学们是敢怒不敢言，我知道后，找到她，为此，我在班上召开了一个主题班会“我们班长的这种做饭对吗？同学们纷纷发言，他的这种做法不对，他深深的地下了头，经过一段时间的努力，他很快有了进步，。经过这次努力，她那高傲的小公主的脾气不见了，学习上也有了进步，正在这时，学校筹备一批新生加入少先队趁此机会，我鼓励她说：”希望你好好表现，我想推荐你加入少先队“她的学习更起劲了。他的表现取得了全班同学的一致认可，班上同学一致拥护她。我们班各项工作取得了全校师生的认可，成为模范班集体，这也为我们班以后的长期工作奠定了基础。

The Mid-Autumn is a very important Chinese festival. It falls on the 15th day of Aucgust. A few days before the festival， everyone in the family will help to make the house clean and beautiful. Lanterns will be hung in front of the house.  On the evening there will be a big family dinner. People who work far away from their homes will try to come back for the union. After dinner， people will light the lanterns which are usually red and round. Children will play with their own toy lanterns happily.  At night the moon is usually round and bright. People can enjoy the moon while eating moon-cakes which are the special food for this festival. They can look back on the past and look forward to the future together. It is said that there was a dragon in the sky. The dragon wanted to swallow up the moon. To protect the frighten the dragon away.

Today, when I awaked up, I found the air-conditioner didn’t work. I used the control, but it still didn’t work. I knew the air-conditioner was in trouble. I went downstairs. My father told me two air-conditioner and two netputer had been broken. Because my father used electric making machine to make electric, so the voltage was not stable. It led to the trouble. Oh! Whenever the government will let the factory use electric? If it lasts longer, I will be crazy!!
