As everyone knows, stress is a natural part of everyday life and there is

no way to avoid it. As the pace of modern life continues to increase, we are

always feeling on the go from morning till night. And it is hard to slow down.

Therefore, stress goes hand in hand with the life in a competitive society.

Different people, however, think of stress quite differently. Some believe

that stress is not the bad thing it is often supposed to be. They are of the

opinion that a certain amount of stress is vital to provide motivation and give

purpose to life. Others argue that stress contributes to one’s mental decline

and hence endangers his health. According to them, relaxation, the opposite of

stress, is essential for a healthy mind and body.

Personally, I’m in favor of the former view. I think it is impossible to

avoid stress when one is entirely devoted to the career he pursues. In my

performance and ill health.

biggest profit. If we hurt the environment, it will hurt ourselves, because we

live together. The polluted environment threatens our health. If we want to live

the comfortable life, then the only way is to be nice to the environment.

Christmas Day is on December 25th. It was originated in the western

country, but today, this festival has been celebrated by the world. For the

manufacturers, they are very happy to make this day as a shopping day. I enjoy

the great atmosphere.

I had a very special Christmas day last year. I experienced the western

style festival. There was a new foreign teacher taught us the lesson. She was

about 50 years old and she was very kind and we all liked her. On Christmas Day,

she brought us the desserts she made early in the morning. We enjoyed the

home-made cakes. Whats more, she invited us to came to her house and spent the

day with her. Then for the first time, I ate big turkey, which was so delicious.

The turkey was filled with many stuffs and the flavor was so good. After dinner,

we sang songs and danced.

Thanks to my foreign teacher, I experienced the American style festival. It

was such funny for me. Though today many people enjoy shopping in all kinds of

festivals, the meaning of these festival should be remembered.

忘不了，我刚上一年级时，报完名走出教室时，一不小心被门边的一张椅子绊了一下，摔了个跟头，我又疼又羞，不由得哭起了鼻子。这时，您轻轻扶我坐在一边的椅子上，刮了一下我的小鼻子，笑眯眯地说：“小小男子汉，可不要哭哟，不然，金豆豆都掉光啦！”；忘不了我做错事时，您对我的谆谆教诲；忘不了，您对我的作业严格要求，您说：“字是一个人的第二外表，字写得好也是对人的一种尊重！”与此同时，您也培养了我做事情要一丝不苟的精神。忘不了，那次我下课玩游戏时，不小心把脑袋磕破了，是您，带我去医院包扎，还买了一些水果给我吃，我在家休息的那几天，是您牺牲自己休息时间，来我家及时给我补了课，没过几天，学校进行期中考试，我的成绩在班上还名列前茅呢！

更忘不了，在我读三年级时，学区组织各种竞赛，语文老师您要我参加语文知识竞赛，数学老师要我参加数学竞赛，美术老师要我参加手抄报比赛！由于我时间上安排不合理，结果参加语文知识竞赛时第一轮就被淘汰了，手抄报也由于没准备好而败北了，从小到大都一帆风顺的我顿时整天垂头丧气，懒洋洋的什么也不想干。老师您看在眼里，急在心里！一次雨后，天边出现了彩虹，您赶快拉我一起去看彩虹，并告诉我：彩虹其实就是阳光，是雨后空气中的雨雾把阳光折射了，从而产生了七彩的光芒，这阳光折射，就象人生的挫折，折射才使阳光美丽起来，挫折也会使我们的人生美丽起来！您的鼓励使我顿时豁然开朗，我重振旗鼓，振作精神，精心准备数学赛，结果在最没把握的数学赛上得了个第二名的好成绩。从那以后，我深深懂得了幼稚只有经历了风雨的洗礼之后，羽毛才会更丰满，翅膀才会更加有力。人也如此，只有经历挫折、荆棘的历练后，才会更加坚强。老师，谢谢您！
