I’m an outgoing girl and my name is Shi Yun. I love singing songs,

especially pop songs. My favorite singer is Jay Chou.

As we all know, Jay is a superstar of Asia. He has excellent music skills.

He started to play the piano at 5 years old and studied hard. When he was 15

years old, he was able to write songs. But the environment in which he lived is

not very good. When he was a child, his parents were divorced and as a result

his childhood was full of depression. He lived with his grandparents. He was

always silent and didn’t like talking to others. At the age of 16, he was

attracted by the bass’s low voice. So his mother bought one for him and he

started to play the bass. His success is filled with tears and sweat.

From his story, I know if I want to be successful, I should work harder. I

want to go in for music, although I know the way to success is very difficult

for me. Now that I choose this way, I’ll do my best to realize my dream. Of

一种人认为，精诚所至，金石为开，所以一直在努力，那么创造离我们将不再遥远;反对者说，没有机遇你一辈子努力也出不了头，这就好比姜太公钓鱼。

是机遇造就了成功，还是不懈的努力造就了成功?这两者一时反而成了矛盾的统一体，成了纠缠不清的谜团。

这究竟是怎么回事?

杨振宁先生相信大家都很熟，是诺贝尔物理奖获得者，是创造与成功的典范。恰恰在不久，他参加了浙江大学的百年校庆，而记者也恰恰问了他我们正在探索的问题:人们怎么才能获得成功?

杨振宁先生是这么回答的:我们要想成功，第一要有机遇，第二要了解你从事的事业的尖端和你自己，第三就是个人坚持不懈地努力。

记者又问杨振宁先生，“你是不是总是成功，而没有失败过?”

杨振宁先生斩钉截铁地回答:“不是的。我失败过，而且败得很惨。我在美国读过一年半的研究生，搞实验物理。但是，我天生动手能力差，我搞的实验失败了。当我充分认识了自己后我转而搞理论物理的研究，后来我成功了。”

从杨振宁先生的回答我们可以总结出来，杨振宁先生的成功也正在于他说的那三点:一是机遇，二是智慧，三是努力。

试想，如果杨振宁先生没有客观地认识自己，而是一味地蛮干，一味地投入于实验物理也许直至今天他还一无所获。

同样，法国科学家别涅迪克要不是细心地留意实验中一只烧杯掉到地上，没被摔碎的现象，没把他看到一辆客车发生车祸，车窗上的挡风玻璃碎片划伤了司机和乘客那篇报道，加以联系，深入研究，他能发明出新型材料制成的挡风玻璃吗?不能。

成事在天，并不意味着我们要想获得成功，就得等待上天的降临机遇;说到努力，我们就只管强调坚持不懈，努力也需要巧，需要动脑，需要智慧，如果不发挥自己的智慧，则努力只能是蛮干，那就会南辕北辙，越努力，离机遇越远，离成功越远，而离失败可能是越近。因为它背离了真理和事物的客观规律。

所以说，智慧是维系成功的纽带。
