How I Spent My Summer Vacation The summer vacation had come round again. I was happy that I could forget about school at least for a while. Lest I fool around all through this summer vacation, I made a plan as to how to spend it. First, I thought I should go over all those things my teachers taught in the previous term so that I could have a better understanding of them. Then I thought I should take up some forms of exercise, such as walking, running rowing, to keep me physically strong. 自1996年起，我国确定每年3月份最后一周的星期一，为全国中小学生安全教育日。设立这一制度是为全面深入地推动中小学生安全教育工作，大力降低各类伤亡事故的发生率，切实做好中小学生的安全保护工作，促进他们健康成长。

下周一就是第20个全国中小学生安全教育日。同学们，人的生命高于一切，生命教育、安全教育能提高学生的应急能力和生存能力，这是我们的必修课，也是人生的教育最珍贵的第一课。所以，根据上级通知精神，并结合我校实际情况，我想郑重地劝告大家遵循以下几点：

第一、我们要认真学习交通安全的法律法规，遵守交通规则，加强安全意识。骑车上学的同学注意文明骑车，严禁并排骑车、严禁骑车带人;中学生禁止骑电动自行车上下学。上学、放学过马路时要听从值日老师的安排，同时要注意公路上车辆行驶情况，谨防来往车辆。

假期生活Life In Vacation

It was a sun day of the summer holiday. The weather was hot. My little brother and I decided to go to the resrvoir to swim by bike. It took us half an hour when we got there, many people were swimming. Then we dived into the water……

About an hour later, suddenly somebody called: “help! help!” We were surprised to see a boy struggling in the deep water. As quickly as possible. We swam towards him and pulled him to the shore. He lost his consciousness. We sent him to the nearest hospital at once luckily, he was saved.

In the end, we were worn out, but felt happy. That day was meaningful. We did a good deed!
