Nowadays, the number of single-child family is increasingly growing under the Family Policy. Since I go to middle school, I stay away from home and live in school from

washed my own clothes and cleaned the bed, which were done by my mother before.

I found that I could take care of myself without my parents’ help. What’s more,

Thus, there is no doubt that generation gap exists everywhere. We always find that there are big differences between us and the old generation. We always regard the old are outdated, while they think us are crazy. They can’t bear the dress we like, the fashion we pursue or even our childish thinking. 再有一件事就是，学习上购买一些笔和本自己去买。之前都是妈妈帮我去买所用的笔和本，妈妈为了锻炼我跟别人沟通交流的能力，要求我自己去商店购买。因为毕竟在购买的时候需要跟人交流，这也大大增加了我独立处事的能力。我现在跟以前相比，也更爱跟别人说话了，而且也知道怎么说话，说话也是讲究技巧的，因为有些时候一句好听的话能让你所办的事情简单很多。

其实做一个独立的人是我们每个人都应该做到的，只是我们独立的时间不同，有些人在很小的时候就可以独立，有些人要大一些才会独立，但是归根结底每一个人都要独立，为什么不能够早一点独立呢。

在这里我希望所有跟我一样的同学们，大家都能够早一点独立起来，因为当你独立的时候你会发现原来你的人生是这样多姿多彩，原来你也可以做得这样好。

One time I didn’t do well on a math test. It was the first time for me

to get such a low mark. I felt miserable about it. When I got home, without

saying a single word to my parents, I rushed into my own room. I sat down

in front of my piano. Unconsciously, music came out from my fingers. I was

lost in the beauty of the music. My heart flew with the song in the air. The

piano music was just like a wise old man consoling me with soft words. After
