The Lunar New Year  a great occasion to the Chinese people. It lasts about the first four days of the year， during which people do not work except for the workers on duty. Students do not go to school， and shops are closed.

Several days before the new year， people begin to prepare. Farmers kill pigs， sheep， cocks and hens. City dwellers buy meat fh and vegetables. Houses are cleaned; coupletsare posted on the doors. Colourful lanterns are hung at the gate.

On the eve of the new year， each family has its members gatherd together and eats a family reunion dinner. After the meal they watch TV until the clock strickes twelve. 我在留学时候，只在杂志上登过几篇不好的文章。初做小说是一九一八年，因为一个朋友钱玄同的劝告，做来登在《新青年》上的。这时才用“鲁迅”的笔名（Pen－name）；也常用别的名字做一点短论。现在汇印成书的有两本短篇小说集：《呐喊》，《彷徨》。一本论文，一本回忆记，一本散文诗，四本短评。别的，除翻译不计外，印成的又有一本《中国小说史略》，和一本编定的《唐宋传奇集》。

It is reported that ten big cities in China are being  among the top twenty cities with the highest pollution index in the world. This means it is high time we did something to bring the situation under control.

Many factors are  to the deteriorating situation: industrial wastes pumped into the air, the lakes and rivers; a increasing number of automobiles crowding into the streets; the  use of plastic bags etc.

To my view, stiffer laws and regulations must be implemented to check pollution. Industries that release wastes without  should be heavily fined. Cars should be equipped to minimize the exhaust they release into the air. And the use of plastic bags and disposable meal boxes should be banned. What’s more, the media should play an important role in implanting a sense

of consciousness into people’s mind.

The thankful great universe provides the environment of existence for us

and give us sunlight, air, water and everything in keeping with us existence of

Each country celebrates April Fools Day differently. In France, people call the April Fools “April Fish”. They tape a paper fish to their friends backs to fool them. When he or she finds this , they shout “April Fish!”

In England, people play jokes only in the morning. You are a “noodle” if someone fools you. In Scotland, April Fools Day is 48 hours long. They call an April Fool “April Gowk”. Gowk is another name for a cuckoo bird.

To encourage people to go outside and relax, a mounting number of parks offer free admission now. People benefit from it, especially during these tough economic times. With free entry, more people will have the opportunity for affordable vacations for families, taking pleasure in the natural landscape.

Fresh air and landscapes in parks are good for people. However, too many people

flocking into parks might not be so good for the parks.

For example, some visitors leave their garbage behind, which may cause environmental pollution. And people’s barbeques and stamping will also bring damage to the grassland and other greeneries in parks.

As a university student, I’m in favor of free admission to parks. Free entry to parks not only saves people’s expenditure, but also makes things fairer — people like the poor and students can go to parks frequently as well. On the other hand, visitors should be informed to preserve the environment while enjoying the beauty of the nature.

我出生于2005年3月5日清晨。我生下来时非常瘦小，只有4斤，姑姑们常以此嘲笑我：“龙生龙，凤生凤，瘦猴的女儿细丁丁！”也正是这样，爸爸给我取名“丽亭”，希望我像花木那样，挺拔而美丽。虽然我不太喜欢，但这是我出生后爸爸给我的第一份祝福，勉强接受吧。

2010年，我开始迎接人生中的第一次成长——接受幼儿教育。那是我第一次上学。我家住得远，去幼儿园的路显得那样艰难。下雨时，漂亮的花鞋瞬间变成了黄黄的泥鞋；炎热时，走得满身大汗；寒冷时，风直往脖子里钻，冻得瑟瑟发抖，手伸进袋子里也藏不住……

来到幼儿园，一切都让我感觉陌生，但也充满了新鲜。那里游乐设施比较完善，有弯的直的滑梯，有花花绿绿的跷跷板，有大小不一的秋千……那些东西都吸引着我，我很想去玩，可是，我太胆小，总跟在妈妈后面，她去哪里，我也跟到哪里，简直是一只“跟屁虫”，甩都甩不开。妈妈在跟幼儿园老师谈话，经过一番谈论后，妈妈对我说：“你在这儿要听老师的话，不能乱走。”说完，妈妈就走了。

看着妈妈的背影，我的眼泪哗哗地流下来，别人怎么哄都没有用。这时，老师把我抱起来，轻轻擦去我的眼泪。可是我的眼泪却怎么也擦不完，像剪不断的瀑布一样。后来老师把我抱到同学中间，我看见她们都没有哭，我也就不好意思再哭了，把眼泪一收，融入了这个群体，成为了一名正式的幼儿园小朋友。

2011年，我进入小学一年级，并光荣加入了少先队。我的成绩一直名列前茅，因为我的家人都希望我在学习上优秀，将来出人头地，我自然不会辜负他们的期望。我努力学习，力争成为有用之材。

在家里，我时常会做一些力所能及的事。看到桌面不顺眼，我会收拾一下；看到地面不整洁，我会清理一下。我也会到菜地去帮奶奶一起摘菜……

2018年，我成为了一名初中生。挥手告别小学的愉快岁月，即将上演甚是辛苦的初中生活。家里人总是说：“初中和高中是人生最重要的节点，你要把握好！如果你能成功，今后的日子就能苦尽甘来。”于是，我制定了“严酷”的学习作息计划：

星期一至星期五5：30，天还没亮，到处还是灰蒙蒙的一片，别人还在被窝里睡得正香，而我已经在教室里自习了；晚上夜深人静，当别人已进入睡梦中，而我却还开着床灯学习；每一个课间，别人在尽情地玩，我却在教室里做作业……

双休日我更不放过，都有严密的作息安排。一句话，不考出个像样的成绩来，我誓不为人！爸爸妈妈，放心吧，我决不辜负你们的期望，我已经扬起了前进的风帆，正在劈波斩浪，直击沧海！
