Gulangyu — A fairyland in the world

Gulangyu is a small island of Xiamen. It’s like a garden on the water. Cars and buses are not allowed to drive there, which makes the island so quiet that music played on the piano and violin can be heard.

这天，我正在读《三国演义》中的一个经典的故事。这时，诸葛亮为了使粮食大幅增产，让士兵去开拓山野耕种，效果很显著。可好景不长，司马懿率领十五万大军直取诸葛亮阵地。读到这儿，我的心悬了起来，为诸葛亮狠狠地擦了把汗。这时正赶上士兵们去收麦子，只剩二千五百伤残士兵在城，又无武将。可诸葛亮却镇定地指挥士兵隐藏好，再让一些人泼水扫街，自己带着两小童再城楼上神色自若地弹琴。司马懿被这阵势镇住了。诸葛亮不会在玩命吧，里面肯定有埋伏，安全起见，撤！诸葛亮就这样不费一兵一卒，愣是把十五万大军给退了，真令人佩服。这真把看的人的心都吊到嗓子眼儿了。
