I think Mid-Autumn Day is an old traditional festival in China. Everybody likes it because its a family get-together. You see it is called"Mid-Autumn Day", so it often comes in September or October. On this day the moon is at its greatest distance from the earth; at no other time is it so luminous. Then， as the Chinese say， “The moon is perfectly round.” In the villages the heavy work involved in the summer harvest has already been completed but the autumn harvest has not yet arrived.

The actual origins of the Mid-Autumn Festival are still very unclear. The earliest records are from the time of the great Han dynasty emperor Wu Di， who initiated celebrations lasting three days， including banquets and “Viewing the Moon” evenings on the Toad Terrace. We know that people during the Jin dynasty (265-420 A.D.) continued the custom of Mid-Autumn Festival celebrations， and similar accounts have come down to us from the time of the Tang dynasty. During the Ming dynasty (1368-1644) houses and gardens were decorated with numerous lanterns and the sound of gongs and drums filled the air.

在中午时，我的姨妈、表姐和表哥都来了我家过节，我觉得非常奇怪，因为以前的中秋节姨妈她们从不会来我家过节，为什么今年会来呢？这个问题也太难了吧！我就去问妈妈：“妈妈，为什么今年姨妈她们会来我们家过节呢？”妈妈说：“有什么好奇怪的，不过你等一下就会知道啦。”“吃中午饭啦！”哇！大姨妈的声音真是振聋发聩呀！我们坐好等姨妈她们上菜，一会儿菜齐了，我就像饿狼似的狼吞虎咽的吃起来了，咦？这菜为什么这么像外婆煮的饭菜呢？我跟妈妈说：“妈妈，这菜怎么那么像外婆煮的饭啊！”妈妈说：“你还不明白。”我想了想觉得可能外婆来了我家，我做了决定说：“外婆一定来了我家。”我说了不久大家都笑了起来说：“是的，你说对了。”外婆突然在我的房间里走了出来了，这时我感动得眼泪都快流了出来了，但是我忍住了。

晚上到了，月亮像和我们比美似的又大又圆。我们吃过晚饭后上天台赏月，我拿柚子，表哥拿月饼，表姐拿苹果……好吃的东西摆满了桌子。我们还点了很多很多的灯笼，许下一个又一个的愿望，祝愿外婆早日康复，简直就像一个灯笼世界。我们在天台上玩了捉小偷、猜谜语……我们玩得像月亮一样开心。

我好开心哦！这个中秋太好玩啦！我觉得太幸福！

[传统节日中秋节记事作文

今天是中国的传统节日中秋节。

本来爸爸晚上要带我去宝盖山赏月，可是担心山上会刮大风，怕不安全，就只能在家里的天台赏月了。

晚上十点多，我和爸爸到天台赏月、乘凉，我用眼睛一直盯着天空，盼望着月亮赶紧出来，过了一会儿，月亮果然慢慢地扒开云朵钻了出来。

这轮圆月又洁白又明亮，就像一个白玉盘高高地挂在空中，又像用面粉打成的白年糕被粘在了天上。

天上云很多，随着风，这些云慢慢地变幻着，有的像一团团的棉花絮，有的像一层层薄薄的白雾，有的像猫咪的绒毛，轻轻地飘在夜空中。

过了一会儿，月亮又躲进了云里，我想：这么晚了，月亮一定也很困了，把云当作被子睡觉去了……
